Over a weekend in September 2021, I was visiting the Whitehall/Montague area with a friend of mine and we stayed here on a Saturday night. (This was my second stay at this hotel; previously I'd stayed here 4 years ago.) We arrived at around 1:30 p.m. and were, fortunately, able to check in. (I was happy about that because it was prior to the official check-in time of 3 p.m.) Our room (#224) was all right. It was clean and comfortable enough... no problems and we slept okay. In general, I wasn't all that thrilled with my stay the second time around. There was nothing particular special about this hotel. I was disappointed that the hot tub in the pool area was out of order (I had been looking forward to using it). Also, I wasn't sure what was up with the business center computer in the lobby, but it was sitting in a dark little spot with no lighting. I tried using it to surf the Internet, but it was apparently not working. A typical Choice-hotel breakfast was being served in the morning, but I tend to be particular about hotel breakfasts, so we ended up not eating breakfast at the hotel. Basically, our stay was okay. It's nothing special at all, but the options for chain lodging in the Whitehall/Montague area are rather limited so this is probably the best chain hotel in the area. If I find, in the future, that I need lodging again in this area, and no nicer hotels open up nearby, I'd probably stay here again (I had no real problems), but nothing is really drawing me back to want to stay at this property again.
