Mehood Elegant Hotel Xi'an Bell Tower Yongningmen

Our 3 night stay here was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful and welcoming each day. The location is right next to the old wall, which you get a great view of from the outdoor terrace. Just be mindful that the reception is on an upper level via lifts, so the entrance from outside isn't immediately obvious. Look for glass sliding doors with lifts behind it and small black plaque stating Mehood Elegant Hotel. The hotel decor is lovely Chinese style. Our Tang Dynasty room was excellent, decent size and facilities. Twin beds were spacious, each with bedside tables. Wash basin is behind a half partition within the bedroom. Then the toilet and shower are each in their own cubicle, behind the wash basin. So be mindful that you can see the bathroom area from the beds area but it was fine for us. Air con worked great. Robes and slippers provided. Self service laundry area was a welcome addition, with 3 washer dryers, detergent, hanging rail and clothes steamer. Breakfast was really excellent, mostly Chinese cuisine with some continental western options. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel. Easy walking distance of metro, shops and old wall.

Very nice hotel. The breakfast and afternoon tea offered by the restaurant is great. The view from the restaurant is breath-taking, especially at night.

The hotel was lovely and the location was great. We might suggest that on your site you mention a different name as it is not really in the bell tower xi’an yonginman … in fact we never saw that name, tho the address is correct. It’s a few blocks from the bell tower circle and there are several more hotels of the belt tower . There is nowhere on the hotel that says Xi’an Belltower, yongiman, elegant hotel. on the door is Mehood elegant hotel (see picture)- but this is a barely noticeable sign and the entry is really tricky. there is an elevator that says lobby elevator 1 … but in fact you need to press 5 and get up to the 5th floor to find the lobby! and the elevator floor signs (1-5) do not indicate this … Our suggestion is to put a much larger sign on the hotel and to better indicate that hotel lobby is on the fifth floor! the pix below is a small sign on a small door with only name we saw. there are many other doors in the area.

It was great staying at this hotel. The location is excellent. Breakfast could do better. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Hotel is located right next to the city wall and YongningMen, walking distance to local cuisines , pubs and shopping centre. The room is spacious and clean, the bed and pillows are comfortable for exploring tourists. The view from the 5th floor balcony is absolutely stunning. my son enjoyed the stay and he wants to come back next time ❤️❤️🥰

Thanks for the clean rooms, delicious breakfasts. The view from the window is wonderful. In the evening, we managed to taste delicious noodles while admiring the evening city. Special thanks LIUXIAOMEI for the help with the extension of the ordered rooms. The staff does not speak English, but using a smartphone will help solve any problems and questions. They also helped me top up alipay, which helped me a lot due to the unexpected cancellation of my flight.
