For a European, the most amazing hotel in China ♥️♥️♥️! By far such unparalleled sophistication with incredible smart and nice staff. Especially the gentleman who helps with the luggage and stands at the entrance with the traditional outfit did an amazing job, always thinking 3 steps ahead with whatever you need. He went out of his way to help with translation, organising and any questions I had. He was more supportive than the front desk. A great thank you also to Sunny! Without her, i would have struggled. She helped me with any room services I needed and always answered immediately. What an amazing hotel, beautiful designed rooms, delicious breakfast! Afterwards you will struggle to find a place like this anywhere else in China

We had a lovely time in Xi’an, the hotel although a bit hard to find at first was great. The entrance was impressive and the whole hotel has their own theme throughout. The staff at reception were very nice and helped us check in just a bit before the official time stated online.
The hotel is secure and to be able to take the elevator up to the rooms you need to swipe your room card. There are multiple amenities inside as well for example the fifth floor had a laundry area and a bistro / bar next to reception. The rooms were nicely organised, the beds were comfortable and we even managed to watch a few movies on the TV alongside with the news and documentaries.
There’s a shopping area nearby where one can get food and other necessities, there’s 2 subway lines nearby but you would still need to walk a bit to access those. During check out we received some gifts as well and overall we received a pleasant service.

After my review for one night on 8th for, we are now booked for rejuvenated room with so much more bigger room space and on 5th flr which is quiet and, I believe, smoke free flr.
The day reception is sufficiently staffed and with friendly receptionists always ready to assist queries, except for travel related matters. But I suggest receptionists shld be equipped with basic knowledge of places of interest and how to get there instead of directing all quests to travel desk, located besides reception desk.
For breakfast, I really hope to see improvements to variety of cooking and types of food, especially for travellers who intend to stay one week in Xian. On our second day breakfast here, we already got sick of same variety of fruits or jams or noodle etc. Hope to see improvements.
On the whole, highly recommend this quiet and conveniently located hotel for would be quests. There is a very good foodcourt in WangFuqin shopping center located about 1 km walk- can find simple vegetarian options there and all at very reasonable price even for other foods.

I have stayed two hotel in Xi an this trip, however the other hotel I stayed is newer, but I still recommended to stay this hotel as the location of the hotel really win. It’s very convenient, the metro station is very near, downstair of the hotel is all the shops and eatery, even u go to the bell and drum tower or Muslim quarter, it’s just walking distance to go back to the hotel. Cons is there’s no fridge for the room , abit strange although I booked a family room, the toilet wall is made from glasses and look through abit (just abit skin colour) if u look from outside the toilet. Overall, the location of the hotel is fascinating.

We stayed here for 2 nights and everyone was really nice and friendly.
The rooms are really spacious and comfortable.
The location is good, walking distance from South Gate.
There are a lot of shops and restaurants around.
The restaurant of the hotel has really good food. We went there for the two nights after exploring and the food was tasty and the portions are big from a European point of view. Breakfast has a mixture of sweet and savoury foods.
We also used the laundry room that has self service.
The check out went smoothly with the help of Amy, Emma and Huang.

The hotel location is excellent, the J6 exit from 钟楼站 is right in front of the hotel. You can view the 钟楼 from the hotel and it is very near to the famous 回民街 and 骡马市 with a lot of eatery. The hotel staffs were very helpful and friendly, especially 小孙, he was very helpful and went the extra mile to assist us in our delayed luggage and our request. They provided us early check in when we arrived early and they were also very generous to provide us free breakfast everyday for our stay when they noticed it was my birthday. Really appreciated for their kind hospitality.

We had a very pleasant stay at Novotel.
The location was fantastic with easy access to the MRT and also to the key sights!
While we had a small encounter with one of the front desk staff on the morning when we had to go off early on a day trip to Luoyang, the staff have been hospitable and would go out of their way to help us.
We are particularly happy with the lady in the restaurant and the staff within the restaurant. Always ready with a smile!
Would like to give an excellent review for 小任, the housekeeping staff who cleaned our rooms daily! There was an evening when we returned to find that she had taken the initiative to wash my socks for me. I was pleasantly shocked by the gesture! There was no need for her to do so, yet, she went out of her way to make us feel at home!

The location is really the best. It is just across drum tower and the night market. The Muslim market is connected to the night night which is really vibrant at night. It is easy to get around coz the bell tower and the City wall sites are just nearby. This hotel’s breakfast is good. Hotel staff service is commendable. They are very helpful. Free use of their washing machine and dryer for your laundry! What a surprise! The room is big for my family. Comfy beds and pillows. Warm toilet seat and my family’s stay is so relaxing. We enjoyed our stay in Elong Anyue hotel. I only have one suggestion. Please let your house keeping clean the toilet and the bathroom everyday. Make them check if guests have enough shampoo, bath soap and conditioner. Other than that, everything is perfect!

It's a good hotel located in the center of the district. Within a walking distance around 10 minutes to the Drum Tower. Clean and tidy. They allowed us to upgrade our room without an additional charge. They have a tour service in the hotel too, where we can conveniently book our taxi to the airport or to the tourism attraction places. There were a lot of food sellers beside the hotel. And at night, there were sellers with their electric vehicle selling snacks or fruits along the pavement. Definitely recommend.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The room is a good size and the bed is comfortable. We stayed on the 2nd floor with a window facing the street. Some street noise but not a problem at all for us. We didn't need the room to be cleaned daily and the cleaner checked in with us often in case we needed any extra like new towels and stuff. The location is a little further out from the Bell Tower also not a problem for us as we enjoyed the walk and the Metro Stop is really close by. If you intend to walk on Xi'An Ancient Wall. It's also right around the corner. you will start from the West Gate Tower Gate. Overall, we are very happy. Oh, extra points for the free laundry/dryer. Super helpful as we are on the road for a month. Staff were really friendly.

GGuest UserI can fully recommend the stay at Mr. Wu‘s Hotel.
The staff is very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The check-in and check-out was very easy. Even though they might not be fluent in English, I never had a problem communicating with them. We always used a translation app and we understood each other with ease. They even walked with me to the next convinient store around the corner to make sure I definitely found it.
The room is very spacious with a big, comfortable bed and different pillows to chose from as well as a small bar to cook tea and enjoy a snack. It‘s very clean. Every day they come in, remove the trash, make the bed and clean everything as well as refill the water bottle which are for free during your stay.
The location of hotel was perfect for me with lots of restaurants around and the merto station(line 3 and 6) just a short walk away. You can very easily go to the city centre and all the sights by metro. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda for example is just a couple stops away with line 3.
The breakfast buffet has a lot of choices - something for every taste. It‘s mostly chinese dishes but also with western options e.g. toast, jam, cereal. Fruit is also available. It is really delicious!
To sum it up: If you want to enjoy Xi‘an and want to stay in an awesome hotel, this is the one to pick! I am extremly grateful I was able to stay at this hotel!

GgraceThe two stars on service, one for concierge one for the hotel bar’s waitress (Rose 游娜，a trainee but who offered us excellent service , made up for other issue we felt being unfairly treated).
The itself, being a historical building and all, looks magnificent. Even though the decor may seem dated, but inside our room was comfortable, and cosy, we got nothing to complain.
Concierge would accept our deliveries and helped with luggage and all, again, nothing to complain.
BUT, on the second day, the hotel housekeeping mistakenly took a huge bagful of our travel stuff ( including snacks, mini packed laundry detergents, biscuits, fruits, alcohol wipes , packed tissues etc), they simply throw away as garbage. We deliberately left it in a corner so it WONT be mistaken as rubbish. We did NOT leave it next to the bin, and we HAVE already taken out our takeaway boxes.
Because we did not at all expect this to happen at a five star hotel , we did not realise it was missing until the next morning when we were getting ready to leave for train station. At this point, when we called, the hotel told us, housekeeping merely thrown out two EMPTY takeaway boxes, that was NOT true! They could confirm it from surveillance camera that it’s s about heavy yellow bag been taken out instead of two empty takeaway boxes.
Yes, perhaps it’s not valuable, it’s not a gold chain or a camera, but it’s something very handy to our long journey , and their initial response was not acceptable. We are also not sure what other small things we have left inside the bag ( Because we didn’t think someone will throw it out!!!!).
It was obvious it’s not a bag of garbage, if they were not sure why not keep it until we are back and ask? In all the years staying in any international five star hotel chains, we’ve never had to deal with such situation …
And one more thing, made us uncomfortable, was before we depart we decided to have a drink in the hotel bar. I asked the bar staff for two Proseccos, she replied if it’s the bubbly free drink being offer upon check in. I spent about 60rmb for two sips, and only to find out it was offer for free which we never been offered upon our arrival ( was nobody else just us two on the arrival night).
However. After hearing my complain, the bar staff Rose was very thoughtful gave me a second pour, I still paid, but at least feeling not as mistreated. Perhaps this just the final straw on the pile.
On check out, the front desk staffs were busy, no one asked how was our stay , so I did not tell them our experience as above, I had only this one chanel to let out.
Legend, not so legend.
传奇酒店让我期待已久，毕竟全球六家，而且在西安的历史建筑内，所以完全没有考虑其他酒店，哪怕我本身几乎不住索菲特，也没有用过accor的loyalty program。
酒店所在建筑的确很棒，我很喜欢，里面的设施也都达到需求。礼宾部前台都很有礼貌，让人觉得很帮助。但是我遇到了两件事，让我觉得以后恐怕不会回来。
1，我们有一个旅途中用的袋子（黄色美团超市袋，里面是一个大的绿色纸袋，因为美团袋子不怕脏放在火车站火车上地上都不担心弄脏，到家了直接拿下来丢掉即可）。里面放了各种小零食，全部可以肉眼看到没有拆开，还有路上用的小包纸巾，ole买的小包酒精湿纸巾，还有小号垃圾袋，以及旅行装洗洁精等。我们把它放在书桌边上的一个墙角，特地放得离垃圾桶区域远一些（房间也没有很多空间放东西我们也不能当路中间）。在我们用完了外卖以及快递后，按照酒店茶几上放的小牌子的要求，打电话请客房部也来收走了。我们理解古建筑立面万一染上污渍会比较难清理。
结果我们离开了一个白天，回来也没特意检查，毕竟这是我们住的地方，我也不想一天到晚防贼一样，也没有对自己的物品拍照。到了第二天我们准备收拾东西离开酒店了，发现这个袋子不见了，这是一个至少有8-10斤左右的袋子，不会轻易错过，于是我们致电酒店管家，在插叙后，告知的确丢掉，但就是一包里面两个空外卖盒… 这是让我最生气和不愿意接受的部分，不小心处理了，不能理解也得理解，但是总不能说瞎话，cctv调出来，我来看看这位清理人员拎出来的是什么东西？？？ 随便看一眼就看到里面的东西都是没有吃过没有用过，就算不确定我也能理解，为什么不放半天等客人回来了确认一下？这里面没有任何异味和汁水，存放一下并不会妨碍你们的酒店。或许对酒店来说，都是些不值钱的东西，没了就没了，有什么好抱怨的，但是将心比心，东西的价值很多时候不在意实际价钱的高低。我们在外面旅行，这些东西是我们的需求，不是钱能买的。
第二个点，我们在离店前，去酒店的酒吧喝一杯，我问吧台服务员点起泡酒（之前我在房间点过，意大利起泡酒），她问我是不是入住时候免费送的起泡酒，我当时就愣了，入住的时候，没有任何人offer我们任何到店饮品。而且到店时就我们俩没有别的客人（所以不是因为太忙）。我拿着一小杯我要付钱别人免费的起泡酒加上被丢了东西，心里不是滋味，不患寡而患不均。是，说我小气，60多一杯的酒在这儿逼逼… 我朋友点了个咖啡，我看到旁边来了另外两个客人，其中一位和一个服务员说，我上次来你们也送的哦，别忘了哦，服务员轻声说知道知道。之间随她的咖啡一起来的，是一份曲奇饼干… 看这个我们桌上孤零零的饮品，心里又是一根稻草压上去。
可能吧台一位员工看到了这个问题，她还是个实习生，也知道了我关于免费不免费起泡酒的不满，于是主动给我续了一杯酒，还拿了饼干（虽然我们也没有吃）、但是心里好受了很多。人真是奇怪的动物（我自己），确实这些都是小东西小细节不值钱可能，但是感觉不公平那就像损失了一个亿，同样是客人为什么没有标准化的服务流程，需要客人去“哭奶喝”，… 逼着大家小气。我不知道这个酒店开了多少时间，但是与传奇这个品牌相比，远远还做的不够。希望传奇品牌有的不紧是历史人物们踏足过的辉煌， 更能够创造属于自己新的传奇。

TTinaMThis is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!)
The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all.
A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome.
I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone.
After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out.
I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! Thank you for a nice stay. I will definitely be back again soon.

TTriciaaaaaaMy husband and I stayed in this hotel for three nights. We booked a standard room which was very affordable, and the hotel is located in the city centre, great location! There is a subway station just right next to the hotel so that’s very convenient as traffic in Xi’an is terrible!
Upon check-in, a member of staff helped us and he was very friendly, he spoke English very well and that was helpful for us. Apparently the room that booked isn’t available so they upgraded us to a suite which was sweet! The room was humongous! It was very fancy, however I think the hotel is quite old, and some interior needs changing. We had a massive bed, maybe a California king bed? Very comfy bed!
We had afternoon tea for two and a happy hour in the evening. (Not our favourite but it was a good deal).
The gym was good too, they have some basic equipment and we were happy with it. The swimming pool was full of children so we didn’t use it, as we wanted peace and quiet.
This is the most exciting part! On our final night, we got back quite late from exploring Xi’an and when we entered our room, it was pretty dark. No electricity. 🤣 I was super exhausted and I wanted to have a bath and just relax. But no can do. We had to go downstairs and update staff about the situation. We were told to wait downstairs, they gave us some water and we sat for about 15 minutes or so. And then a staff came to see us with a new set of key cards. She apologized to us for the inconvenience, like many times! We told her it wasn’t their fault but I think they really need some renovation haha (I didn’t say that to her), so she said we will be moved to a different room, from 20th floor to 28th floor. It sounded like we just got upgraded again! Haha. So we headed up to our new room, I opened the doors and wow! It was a 2-floor suite! It was amazing! I wanted to live in it haha. We were very exhausted and tired but it was a very sweet experience to have! My favourite was the bathroom as we had double sinks! (Yup that’s my thing)
Overall, our stay in this hotel has been amazing. (Apart from the electricity problem)
We liked the staff best, they were very helpful and kind to us. Everyone who worked in this hotel has been superb! And lastly, the manager gave us 20% discount as a compensation for the electricity incident. I would recommend this hotel to others due to its great location and incredibly helpful staff.

From the cleanliness to how they have incorporated small details that include a shelving in your dorm bed apart from the drawers that’s provided is just amazing!
Best of all, the location is extremely convenient and the people working here are truly friendly and endeavours to assist with all your questions and concerns, great work! This place will definitely be my go to if I’m visiting Xi’an again!

GGuest UserA friend & I stayed in a private 2-bed room with private bath. The beds and pillows were excellent, & the room cooled quickly due to good air conditioning. It was July and hot outside. The hostel has a great laundry room, including detergent and dryers! There are many young people staying here, so the environment is fun and lively, with billiards, live music, & a bar for enjoying coffee, beer, or adult beverages. The breakfast (optional) was adequate but very simple. Since Xi'an is a great foodie destination, probably most guests don't eat in the hostel. Our Chinese language skill is very low, but the front desk was helpful and patient, even though the hostel was very, very busy. Oh, the location is perfect: next to the bell tower, super-close to the metro, and a short walk to the Muslim food streets.

Hygiene: The hygiene is very good
Environment: The indoor environment is okay, the main space is large and the washing space is slightly smaller, but it does not affect it. The water is quite hot when taking a shower and the water flow is relatively large.
Service: The service is good, and the attitude was very good after many consultations before going there.
Regarding parking, the hotel is on the 8th floor. If you want to park, park in the parking lot of the building. The parking lot is in the building. The parking fee is 3 yuan per hour.
The overall space is good. There are tea sets and mats on the balcony, but there are only tea sets and no tea leaves.
I feel that if there is a quilt, one more person can sleep on the balcony without any problem. We are just two people and have not tried it.
The hotel plus parking fee only costs over 200, which is quite a bargain.

YYCLIEWFantastic hotel stay with the good service from the front office staff. They provide all the information on the food, places of interest, they even follow up on the information provided.
Breakfast was very sumptuous with a good variety, especially for the lady preparing the fried eggs and noodles.

The landlord is a very enthusiastic aunt. I informed many attractions of the charges before I checked in. When we checked in very late, the aunt kept sending messages asking if we had checked in. It was very warm. The house is an old community. I think the facilities and equipment are proportional to the price. It is recommended to prepare bath towels and towels …… because the homestay does not have disposable bath towels prepared in advance, the surrounding area is very convenient, very close to the main attractions such as the clock tower and the city wall, it is recommended for families to stay
