Visotsky Hotel

Overall I liked the hotel. Hades from the window. Aquazond with rooftop pools, good restaurants, good breakfast. Clean, despite the age of the hotel. A gift from the hotel in the form of tickets to the Vysotsky Museum. Inexpensive. What I didn't like. When we arrived, it was as if we had returned to the times of Vysotsky, they didn’t spend money, they didn’t really explain anything, but then the next days, everyone at the reception was friendly and friendly.

For a first acquaintance with Yekaterinburg, there is a very good view of the city. The rest of the impressions of the hotel were “blurred” by the return of the remainder of the deposit. Upon check-in, a deposit of 2000 rubles is taken in case of using the bar. They charged us 400 rubles for a can of beer and 2 small bottles of water. We didn’t realize that in a 5-star hotel there is a charge for water in your room on the first day. It's not even about the cost of water, but about this approach.

Newly renovated room on the 40th floor with a beautiful view. True, the amount of furniture is minimal, it seems that not all of it was returned after the renovation) The room is clean, the bathroom has a shower, toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, a washing machine (there was also an ironing board and iron). Very small minibar, a bottle of champagne is not included))) Breakfast is good, on Sunday we were treated to sparkling wine. I really liked the spa on the 53rd floor (1 hour per day included). When visiting the rooftop pool this spa is also included, there are excellent saunas and hammam. I recommend it for a romantic weekend getaway!

First time in Yekaterinburg. And this is the second hotel on this trip. Today is Sunday, we checked in on Thursday, home tomorrow!!! Read about the disadvantages in other reviews, people are right in many ways! We, based on emotions from the city, from the people, will remember Vysotsky only on the good side!!! Very decent SPA, breakfasts are a solid "5", friendly, helpful administrators (were we lucky?), wonderful women maids... Thank you for the holiday a**osphere! Will we come back to you again? We stayed in July 2023 in the Junior Suite apar**ents. I asked in advance for a room with a view of the bay. The number was provided. I read reviews that the reception staff are rude. Not true. During our stay, all the administrators were friendly and resolved all the issues that arose. It was my son’s birthday, and as a compliment they brought a delicious cheesecake to the whole family. The breakfasts are delicious. On the day of departure we didn’t have time for breakfast, so we ordered a lunch box in advance. But apparently they forgot. I had to wait. True, they apologized, made a delicious orange juice and latte. They brought fantastically delicious porridge with coconut milk and cheesecakes. We were pleased with our stay. The hotel is very well located. Beautiful view from the windows. We would love to come back again!

I have no complaints about the room, cosmetics, breakfast, bed linen, towels, etc., etc. Everything is clean, smells nice, the rooms are standard and large in size, the air conditioning system works without failures (I stayed for 3 nights). The breakfast is excellent, it is possible to order additional dishes included in the breakfast price. BUT: let's treat guests with some respect. I lived during the Innoprom period, when the cost of a hotel room was 30,000 rubles/day!!!!! Upon check-in, they took a cash deposit in the amount of 2000 rubles (I haven’t seen such a practice in hotels for a long time), but that’s not about it. Hotel policy requires - no problem. When checking out, I was asked if I had used the minibar, I answered no. According to the maid, I was missing a candy bar from the minibar. I explained to the girl at the reception that I don’t eat chocolate at all and didn’t even eat the welcome sweets, the three chocolates that were waiting for me in the room. I just don't eat chocolate. Fact. Dot. To which I was told that the number needs to be re-checked. Seriously? Recheck? I regretted that I didn’t insist on calling investigators to take fingerprints and prove my non-involvement in the disappearance of the candy bar)) And what’s most unpleasant is, with such an astronomical price for the room, despite the fact that the guest says that he doesn’t eat chocolate and gentlemen, They are “doing me a favor” by returning my 2000 rubles without deducting the cost of this unfortunate candy bar. And no one paid any attention to my statement “the room must be prepared and checked before the guest checks in.” For what?

The hotel building stands out from the general architecture of the city. The room was on the 41st floor, beautiful view, floor-to-ceiling windows. But there are also disadvantages: in the summer it is very hot, like in a greenhouse, the air conditioning cannot cope. There is no iron in the room, the bathroom smells like sewage, and the pool is very small and scanty, the elevators have several transfers from floor to floor and the wait is very long. There are also advantages: a view pool on the roof of the 56th floor building for a fee, view restaurants on the 50, 51 floors, a good location of the hotel.
