Yokohama Sakae Ward Hotels

This hotel is a great budget hotel right in the center of Yokohoma. The place is very close to all the good amenities and are walking distance. You can see the Yokohoma Dena Blue Star Stadium outside and Chinatown is one station away. The room we had was nice. The staff here is very kind, friendly and helpful. The fact that you can rent your own private sauna is the highlight for this hotel. Definitely recommended if you’re visiting Yokohama for a short stay.

The cleanliness was superb, which allowed me, as a female guest, to feel completely at ease and comfortable during my stay. I did find the capsule a bit warm, but it was within a tolerable range. The facilities were also well-equipped, contributing to a very comfortable experience. I would definitely like to stay here again if I get the chance!

All the staff at the front desk spoke English. There was no clock in the room, but they quickly fixed it.

The location and service are very good, close to the tram station. Very close to China Street. There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is OK. The room size is spacious in Japan.

This is a really nice hotel, conveniently located right next to the local train station. There's also a fantastic soba noodle restaurant nearby, and it's very easy to get to the subway station. The only minor downside is that the rooms are a bit small and come with bunk beds. However, considering the price, it offers good value for money, and overall, my experience was still quite good.

The rooms are very clean and equipped with the bare necessities. Toyoko Inn quality. The staff smile and respond appropriately. Breakfast is included in the room rate, but there are times when I don't eat it, so I wish they would offer a plan without meals.

The hotel is not bad. I have stayed at other branches of the Comfort hotel chain before, but the one seems a bit older. There is a high step to get into the bathroom, which is a bit dangerous, and the bathroom ceiling is a bit low. For reference, I'm 1.66 m. Breakfast is decent, but dishes repeat every 2 days or so, and it can get very crowded as the dining area is small. The free drinks are a nice touch. Good area room stay in. Port, park, stadium, Chinatown, redbrick warehouse, etc. are all in walkable distance. There are decent food options around as well. The staff are nice and helpful! They even tucked my soft toy in while tidying the room :)

The price is low, so the rooms are small and the facilities are relatively old. The service is also ok. The location is not bad, close to the subway. Friends who are more price sensitive can choose to stay.

Overall hotel experience was good! In particular, I like the amenities bar which provided small packets of face wash, face lotion, overnight milk and other tools like comb and razor so we could take what we needed to use. Similar concept is also used for coffee and tea bags, and the tea bags comprise rooibos and chamomile tea. Breakfast place is compact but the food was good! Thanks for the experience!
