The Lost Camel Hotel Reviews

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location was convenient for getting around. While the property is starting to show a bit of wear and could use some updates, everything was clean and comfortable. One thing to note is that the building could benefit from improved security, as access is currently open and doesn’t require a key card—something that might be worth addressing for guests’ peace of mind. With a few small improvements, this place could be even better.

The room was spacious and clean. It is pricy but so are all the hotels at this resort area and there is very little choice if you want a couple of nights at Uluru. The staff at reception were lovely and helpful. I never used the pool. It is right behind the ‘town’ area with restaurants and the mini supermarket so that is convenient.

Needed to stay at Uluru to meet with a tour. All accomodation high price especially for a single. However, room spacious, bed big and comfortable and room clean and qell equipped

Adjacent to the Windsurfing Hotel, in the core area of ​​the Resort, it can be said to be the best location, which is a plus! The hygiene is good, the room facilities are sufficient, and there is a beautiful swimming pool. The disadvantage is that the reception is not 24 hours. If you attend an event in the early morning of the day of check-out, you need to check out and store your luggage at the Windsurfing Hotel, but you usually take a car from the Windsurfing Hotel, so it is not a big problem. In summary, I only recommend two hotels in Uluru. Either you can spend money to book Windsurfing, which has standard five-star hotel configuration and is indeed high-end, or you can pursue cost-effectiveness and Lost Camel, because it is adjacent to the best hotel, public facilities can be shared, and the location is great!

The staff were very friendly and I felt at ease! I was staying at the hotel by myself and only used it to sleep, but I was very satisfied. (Slippers are not provided, so you may need them.)

Chinese people who drink hot water all their lives have high requirements for the cleanliness of kettles, but this hotel's is obviously not good. There are stains on one of the towels. This hotel is a member hotel of the resort alliance in the town of Yulara. Anyway, if you don't stay here, I guess the others are similar. The attitude of the front desk is just so-so. It's annoying that there are no tables and chairs in the room. I booked a 200-yuan youth hostel and there was a place to write, but a 1,500-yuan hotel doesn't have it.

I felt very safe because a Japanese person was at the front desk. I only stayed one night, but I had a comfortable stay.

To go to Uluru, you can book tickets (AUD38/person) and round-trip bus tickets (AUD49) at the front desk, and take the bus in Figure 5 to and from Uluru. 4. The resort has a free shuttle bus, which runs every 20 minutes.

The room is small and there are many mosquitoes and flies. This is a desert feature. The service is OK.

It is an economical choice for Uluru. You can basically hike outside during the day and have enough sleep at night. It is very convenient to eat and shop next door, and the facilities are sufficient.

The room and bathroom were too close together which was a bit awkward

The room is very clean and will be cleaned regularly, but some mosquitoes are unavoidable. Overall it is good
