Beautiful property. extremely well-designed suites. Very friendly personnel. Excellent location for the Matterhorn view.
The room was tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed, excellent house cleaning services. Provide personal skincare product, especially the sheep soap that I love it ! Breakfast was also excellent.
I’d want to go there again ! :)

We have just returned to the UK from Zermatt and the experience of the town and the hotel was absolutely outstanding. We found Swiss people incredibly friendly, and of course the mountain scenery is out of this world. All team at the hotel, and Chris in particular, took excellent care of us throughout our stay. They were all super helpful attending to all of our needs. We booked a room with Matterhorn view which was spectacular! Although breakfast was excellent, I would pack some coffee if you are a coffee drinker. Rooms have a kettle, but sadly no tea or coffee is provided. There is a tea station few floors down which we found quite inconvenient, having had to walk few floors down just to make some tea, and then carry it back few floors up. The tea station has no coffee, how strange! Also, the TVs are quite oldschool with no way to link your Netflix account. The live TV signal kept hanging every couple of minutes which we found quite frustrating. Nevertheless it was a great experience and we would deffinitely return to Europe hotel. Although this time we would pack a laptop and some coffee :)

Room was spacious and had plenty of light. Excellent details like 2 sofa chairs, separate loo and the bathroom had a separate bath and walk-in shower. Food was delicious but wines over priced in my opinion. Staff was courteous and attentive. Ski room was clean and modern with state of the art heating/drying equipment. Wonderful spa with a large hot tub and different types of sauna.

Just a spectacular charming hotel and spa with the most amiable of staff! The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean and so comfortable; ours had a balcony and a view of the Matterhorn. If you don't get a room with a view, no worries, as the restaurant offers a spectacular view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast is incredible, don't skip it and the view that comes with it. The bar offers a great fun place to wind down. The spa was clean and quiet ... wish the spa offered more hours in late evening, because its just so great to enjoy their fantastic steam room and sauna after a very long day of hiking and skiing. The location is very close to transportation and shops but very private and incredibly quiet. The sheep motif is adorable. We cannot thank the staff enough as my husband left his glasses behind. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and forwarded them to our next location. Go figure, he realized later he packed his prescription glasses and the ones left behind were cheap reading glasses. The staff sent them anyway, going the extra mile. We will be back and will stay longer.

We stayed at Hotel Europe for 3 nights as a last stop on a self-guided hiking tour with Alpine Hikers. Hotel Europe is just lovely. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. Our balcony faced the Matterhorn with a crystal clear view! The restaurant is outstanding, great food, wine, and coffee and the staff were excellent. I believe we had the pleasure of meeting Natalie, a wonderful server with a great sense of humor and joy. The location is very close to everything but tucked off the main thoroughfare. It's worth the money! Highly recommend

We spent 4 nights in this central but yet calm hotel. We really liked the cozy atmosphere and the nice details all around the property. Big, functional and super clean room. Small but well equipped spa area and lots of massage options. Excellent restaurant with nice mountain views; delicious food with various daily options… everything was so tasty and well presented that it was difficult to choose. Very friendly and helpful staff; we really appreciated all the personal touches and the relaxed atmosphere. Overall a very good option in Zermatt.

For the first time in decades I traveled for pleasure alone and I can't imagine a nicer place to have stayed. Europe Hotel was absolutely lovely. The rooms are "modern alpine" and were SO stylish and charming. The bed and pillow were probably the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel. I booked a room with a view of the Matterhorn and it was amazing and totally worth it (normally, I don't care much about hotel views). The breakfasts and dinners were really lovely and delicious. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. I really can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay. I also liked that the hotel was away from the "Disneyland vibe" of the main street near the train station. It was quiet and peaceful, but it was still quite easy to walk everywhere. I really hope to return with my family some day!!

Excellent week at the Europe Hotel & Spa in Zermatt. Facilities, ambience, food and service all rate 10/10. Location was central, yet quiet. Service from the hotel's team - in all areas - was exemplary. Plus, I had a room with a view of the Matterhorn - truly magnificent.

the service is outstanding, since we arrived the train station we feel the wormest help from them. a nice lady, Lydia, and her colleagues helped us get room ready so we can get in room earlier and take rest after a long travel. the suite is highly decorated, the glass roof make room bright and open. you can see the mountain all arround, each of the rooms have extrordinary view. A cozy atomsphereis everywher in the suite. in night, there is also many kinds of illumination options. can be bright also can be moderate with warm feeling.
