3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat ★★★
"Fantastic"
Peaky Riders Self Check-in Hotel ★★
"As the reviews said, it was a little far from the station, but the road was flat so moving our suitcases was no problem! We chose this hotel because it had many reviews from Japanese people and was reasonably priced, and there were a lot of Japanese people there when we stayed! The room itself wasn't very large, so you wouldn't be able to move around if you opened one suitcase, but it did have a balcony, which was great because we could have breakfast and tea outside. Toothbrushes and other amenities weren't provided, but there was a kettle and three types of tea available on the first basement floor! The tap water in Switzerland is drinkable, so we used that to make instant noodles, and there was also a microwave, so we brought pre-packaged rice from Japan and saved money! There's also a supermarket within walking distance, which is convenient! Check-in was easy and not difficult at all as you just use the reservation number you receive in advance!"
Hotel Ambiance ★★★
"Clean and Comfortable room, also friendly and helpful staff:)"
Beausite Zermatt ★★★★
"The rooms were very clean. The facilities and amenities were excellent, and there was even a spa. The location was great, with a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. The breakfast was also delicious, considering it was a Swiss hotel. I felt that this hotel was of a very high standard for a hotel in Zermatt."
Hotel Jägerhof ★★★
"You can see the Matterhorn from the room terrace, very impressive! The hotel shuttle driver has good service👍🏻"
Hotel Butterfly ★★★
"Very nice hotel and very clean Breakfast is very good I like this hotel and if I come to Zermatt next trip , I will choose your hotel absolutely"
Schweizerhof Zermatt - a Small Luxury Hotel ★★★★★
"Very nice hotel in the center of the village, very pleasant welcome"
Patricia Self-Check-in Apartments & Spa Access at Alpen Resort ★★★
"The environment is not bad, not noisy at all, you can have a good sleep"
Alpenblick Superior ★★★
"What a magical place this is! I decided to change my schedule and stay in Zermatt for a longer time! This hotel really made me feel at home, like home, and made me believe that Swiss hotel management is world-famous. The check-in was done by an old man, and there are fixed check-in and check-out times, so please pay attention~ The care can be felt everywhere: clean and hygienic, electronic scales in the bathroom, disinfectant spray, small chairs, and rich breakfast! It makes me feel that although the hotel is small, it has been caring!"

Cervo Mountain Resort
"We had a great experience from start to finish. The rooms are beautifully designed, with thoughtful details like binoculars and a hiking backpack. The spa is one of the best I’ve visited in the Alps, and the food was truly outstanding. We loved both Madre Nostra and Bazaar for lunch and dinner. The staff were exceptionally helpful and made our stay feel extra special."
Mont Cervin Palace
"Just a short walk from Zermatt train station. Great view of the mountains. Nice indoor pool, spa, foot bath including steam and sauna (nude) facilities. Drop off to train station with its own “taxi” service. Highly recommended!"
Grand Hotel Zermatterhof
"I was charged for an additional 288 Swiss FR for “additional guest”. when I checked out. only because I did not put My Son’s name when I did the booking, but I booked a twin room and my son naturally stay with me. not to mention he’s my 13 year old son. they can charge me for additional breakfast. That’s totally OK. but additional person for twin room?really? And Main thing I was not told I will be charged when I checked in. That is not fair I will reflect this to Swiss tourism office. Btw. The staff are 100% good. Very friendly but I am sickened by the strange policy."
The Omnia
"Very satisfied with all aspects, the service staff is enthusiastic. The room was given foreign wine, chocolate and apples. The only regret is the standing crane, which blocks the view and is noisy. But this is not the hotel's problem, it is said to be a construction school. I will stay here again if I have the chance."
Zermatt Budget Rooms
"The reception staff were very polite and helpful. Although I'm not fluent in English, they explained everything slowly and clearly. My room had a bathroom in the basement. It was hot in Zermatt the day I stayed, so it was stuffy and humid unless I kept the windows and doors open. The room had a kettle and a coffee maker. The cleaning staff showed me how to use the coffee maker. Thank you! The bathroom had both a bathtub and a separate shower stall. The spa also had a pool, sauna, and hot springs, and included complimentary drinks, making it very comfortable. If I ever go to Zermatt again, I would like to stay here again. Breakfast was delicious. The vegetables tasted fresh. The menu varied daily, which was enjoyable."
La Couronne Hotel & Spa
"Great hotel, will definitely come back"
Alpenhotel Fleurs de Zermatt
"Hotel is approximately 10mins walk from Zermatt train station. There is a bus stop to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station about 4mins away from the hotel, very convenient. The hotel gave us a free upgrade during our stay and the view from the balcony was amazing! The pool and sauna facility looked great but didnt had a chance to try. Highly recommend this hotel going to Zermatt!"
Wellness Hotel Alpenhof
"The service staff's attitude and patience are great, the room is beautiful, comfortable and clean, and the location is great. The hotel also has a spa, but I forgot to bring my swimming trunks. I will definitely come back and stay here next time"
Hotel Pollux
"Overall great experience. The hotel location is good near train station and lots of restaurant and shop around the area. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel cleanliness is perfect. Easy to get to marathon and Gornergrat."
Hotel Bristol
"I booked a room with a view of the Matterhorn. It was very spacious and had a long balcony. The hotel is located in the best spot in Zermatt for viewing the Matterhorn, Japan Bridge. You can see the Matterhorn from the balcony or even lying in bed. It really lived up to its name. The hotel breakfast was also good."
Hotel Antika
"Very nice, you can see the Matterhorn"
The Christiania Mountain Spa Resort
"Excellent hotel, very good service, perfect location. The Best value in Zermatt. Big rooms, with a nice view, a perfect spa, and a very friendly staff"
Hotel Alpina
"It's small but has everything you need. The downsides are no air conditioning, and even with an elevator, you still have to carry heavy luggage up a few steps to get into the room. Also, there's no service provided after 9 PM, except for emergencies. However, our pillows were too flat, so we went to the front desk after 9 PM for help, and a kind staff member brought us extra pillows. Overall, the environment is quite good."
Hotel Cheminee
"View is nice however depending on your luck. No lift, beware of heavy luggage’s and no one will help you. Amenities only towel and 3 in 1 shampoo. Location was ok. Breakfast was basic."
Hotel Derby
"Kristiane checked us in, and out of the hotel. She's the most attentive person so far that I've met, among the hotels that I have stayed in. Not only that, she got our issues fixed within the day, with a good sense of humour. The hotel breakfast was above average, some selection of cheeses, ham, salami, yoghurt, and drinks dispensed from the machine. I chose this hotel as it was close to Zermatt Bahnhof, and I did not regret it. A relatively new hotel, with a faint smell of wood in the room. The heating in the room can be a wee bit stronger, it means the insulation is good while we tuned down the central heating throughout our stay when the external temp is subzero. It's a gorgeous hotel, I have a narrow window view of the Matterhorn. Not to mention that the hotel is right next to McDonald's and two coffee shops. Overall, it was a splendid experience for us staying at Derby. If you were guessing, this isn't a sponsored review. We were just very happy travellers."
Zermatt Youth Hostel
"A wonderful hotel to stay with friends, and it has good facilities and with great view."
