Hotel Ambiance
"Overall good hotel in Zermatt."
La Couronne Hotel & Spa
"The huge Matterhorn seemed just outside my balcony room. The iconic view changed form before sunrise to after sunset. The restaurant served good meals with nice staff. The front desk is also helpful and saved our time to plan our stay in Zermatt."
Hotel Alphubel
"Staff was kind and friendly. Managed to booked in earlier at 12. Breakfast was provided for and we were impressed with the room/balcony views."
3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat
"We were rather put off going into our room as it had a bad smell to it and the bathroom in particular and surmised because of this, that something wasn't clean perhaps the carpet or drains to the toilet. On the other hand the staff that served us for the evening meal and breakfast were polite and humorous and looked after us well so we cannot complain on this. We are happy to help you with the survey but don't want our names published please!."
Apartments Patricia
"A bit far away from the Zermatt train station. But nice view of Matterhorn."
Peaky Riders Self Check-in Hotel
"The reception was supposed to close at 10:00 pm. I called the hotel that I am running late and the lady kindly waited for me. The room was tiny but clean and cosy. We didn’t have neighbors on the floor, so having the shared bathroom wasn’t a problem. It is value for money"

Mont Cervin Palace
"Love their two horses, featured!"
Grand Hotel Zermatterhof
"I was charged for an additional 288 Swiss FR for “additional guest”. when I checked out. only because I did not put My Son’s name when I did the booking, but I booked a twin room and my son naturally stay with me. not to mention he’s my 13 year old son. they can charge me for additional breakfast. That’s totally OK. but additional person for twin room?really? And Main thing I was not told I will be charged when I checked in. That is not fair I will reflect this to Swiss tourism office. Btw. The staff are 100% good. Very friendly but I am sickened by the strange policy."
The Rex
"I love the philosophy of this hotel, sustainable development and zen! The staff is very friendly and give me good suggestions all the time! The sourdough from the bakery is extremely nice. I love their pizza, cinnamon rolls and cookie! The grill room provide delicious meat and wine! The breakfast is super yummy! The room is very cozy and warm! I love the rainforest shower, the furniture and the books! The spa centre and the garden make me relax! I will come back and recommend to everyone!"
Hotel Berghof
"The Berghof Hotel is very close to the ski lift to Furi and has a private left down to the ski station. We had a room with twin beds and a view of the Matterhorn. The food is very good. Unlike many of the hotels close to the town centre the hotel was full in January 2025."
Alpen Resort & Spa
"Everything is excellent. I was very impress by the view of Matterhorn. I will strongly recommend to my families and friends to stay at Alpen Resort & Spa. There are lots of indoor activities and facilities to enjoy."
Hotel National Zermatt
"We were so so happy with the National. We stayed for over a week and weren't sure what to expect of a "4 star" hotel. We needn't have worried. Our Family room had a fab Matterhorn view - the mezzanine area worked fine for our kids though had low beams to negotiate. We received very warm service especially at the front desk. Pools were great too. It's opposite one of the ski lifts and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I looked fwd to sitting in the lounge of the hotel with my book after a day of skiing. Thanks for a lovely stay."
Beausite Zermatt
"Our stay at Beausite Zermatt was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel looked after throughout our visit. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, combining classic Swiss charm with modern comfort. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered breathtaking views of the Matterhorn — truly unforgettable. The wellness area was a highlight, especially after a day exploring Zermatt, with excellent spa facilities that were both relaxing and well organised. Breakfast was generous and high quality, with a wide selection to suit all tastes, and the dining experience overall was refined yet comfortable. The location is also ideal — peaceful, yet within easy walking distance of the village and transport. Beasite Zermatt delivers luxury without feeling pretentious, paired with genuine hospitality. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zermatt."
Riffelhaus 1853

Zermatt Budget Rooms
"The hotel environment is very nice, and it's within walking distance of the train station, with a supermarket along the way, which is very convenient. The breakfast selection is also very extensive, with various kinds of bread, cheese, ham, cereal, jam, etc. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a room on the first floor by the front desk, and the terrace outside the room had a great view."
