Hotels in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie

We love our stay at Manyuan. The hotel is cosy & very welcoming. The butler, Miss Peng waited for our arrival & led us inside the reception area that had pretty Chinese decors. Miss Peng & all the other butlers were very attentive & responsive to all my queries in WeChat. She made our trip possible by helping us purchase the tickets to the National Forest Park & Tianmenshan. She even arranged for us Guides . Food was buffet breakfast & enough choices to fill our stomach. Though there were 2 of us in the room, we were upgaded to 3-bedded. The room was surprisingly big & also very clean with bathroom kits provided. I strongly recommend travellers to this hotel.

We were a group of six and booked five rooms for three nights (some stayed for two). Truly, this place is so beautiful! From the moment we were picked up at the station, everything was seamless. The hotel staff were extremely kind, professional, and spoke good English. They always went above and beyond to meet any of our needs. The breakfast was super delicious, and we even met wonderful travelers from all over the world. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants, massage clinics, and lovely locals — the whole area just has such a warm, welcoming vibe. Next time, we’ll definitely book again and stay even longer! 😊

A wonderful hotel! I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the hotel staff for their warmth, hospitality, and assistance in organizing our trip! 1. We were met at the airport and taken to the train station on a free comfortable transfer. 2. There is a free transfer to the National Park there and back. 3. Delicious breakfast: steamed buns, jiaozi, eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables - and all this with a stunning view of the mountains! 4. The territory of a hotel is much larger than it looks on the photo, very well-groomed and interesting. I recommend to plan 1 day to just relax at the hotel! 5. The hotel has a small cute pool with a view of the mountains. 6. The hotel staff confidently speaks English and helped us with literally every little thing! They bought tickets, planned every day of our stay, helped with routes and gave their recommendations. They answered in the chat literally instantly on any question! They were worried and wrote to us if we stayed somewhere late. 7. Free tea tasting of local tea in English was very interesting! You can buy local tea and pottery in the store. 8. During our stay, we counted 3 dogs, 7 cats, 3 kittens and 2 puppies that live on the territory of the hotel. All animals are very friendly and gave this place an incredibly warm and homely atmosphere. 9. Laundry is free, we used it several times, everything is great! 10. You can order dinner at any time. All the food is delicious, home-cooked and made with love! 11. The room was wonderful and very spacious with a large bed, great pillows and very soft linens. 12. We left the hotel very early, so the staff brought us breakfast to go. It was very nice! Thank u so much!!! I’ll really miss this place!

Honestly this the best hotel-place we have ever stayed in china. Although the location is not muslim friendly as there is no halal restaurant around the area. However, the staf was really kind to provide us a vegetarian breakfast which really helped us through tbe day. The staf is really supportive and kind to the guest as they treated us like a family which we really appreciated it 🫰🏻. The hotel is really clean and spacious. And its the best hotel if you want to visit the Avatar mountain as it really near or you can stay in for relaxation purposes as it the best for it.

Facilities: Central air conditioning, smart home, and a very comfortable bed. Environment: Living in the mountains, it wasn't hot, and the view rooms had a particularly nice view. Service: From Zhangjiajie West Station, the hostess was incredibly welcoming and helpful, picking us up at the station and then dropping us off at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. She was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. On our first day, the hostess even cut us some watermelon in the evening. The mountain ice watermelon was truly delicious. Meals were also delivered to our room, and the food was excellent, reasonably priced, and generous. The hostess also recommended a great barbecue and braised food restaurant for takeout, and offered discounts on tickets. The villa is magnificent. We stayed two nights and extended our stay by booking an additional night. It was incredibly comfortable. Just lying in bed was so relaxing, and the mountain scenery was so captivating that I couldn't leave. This is by far the most comfortable B&B I've stayed in Zhangjiajie, and I'll definitely stay there again next time I visit.

Honestly it is a hidden gem!!!! I absolutely loved it! The attention and service were amazing. Everyone always caring and smiling…. Didn’t want to leave. They make sure to accommodate your needs. The rooms are clean, super cute and the balcony with the pool view is so relaxing….. excellent location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and close to the river to take amazing pictures….. The location of this inn is absolutely unbeatable! It’s just steps away from Xibu Street, which makes it super convenient to go out for food and drinks in the evening. The Forest Park’s main gate is only a few minutes’ drive away, which saved us a lot of travel time—perfect for exploring Zhangjiajie with ease. What really stood out was the service here. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. They not only gave us detailed suggestions for sightseeing routes but also helped us book discounted attraction tickets. Whenever we had questions while in the park, we could always reach out to Xiao Du! That kind of thoughtful, concierge-like service made our whole trip relaxing and stress-free—no need to worry about planning or potential pitfalls. Even though the inn is located in a busy area, it’s quiet and comfortable inside, with uniquely decorated exotic vibes. They also offer complimentary parking and laundry/dryer services, which is super convenient for those driving or needing fresh clothes after long days of touring.

Their rooms have views of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park mountains 🥹 Not to mention their really unique windows. They even upgraded my room during my stay when I requested a pretty view. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff! Their advice helped me a ton when planning my itinerary and they even helped to drop me off at and pick me up from the South Entrance of the park! The breakfast was made fresh, and their kitchen can also provide meal services after a long day of hiking.

The decor has a charming, traditional feel. The owner was incredibly hospitable and helpful, offering excellent advice on all Zhangjiajie travel questions and even helping guests purchase various tickets at discounted rates.

This is a great hotel/resort. We were welcomed by Rain, who spoke English, and showed us our very big room/apartment. The Inn is located in the middle of nature so of course there were some insects, but a surprisingly small amount inside the room. They provided a insect mosquito net upon request. Most of all, the location provided great views and a stunning sunset. All staff is very kind and caring. Especially Rain, who catered to our every need and drove us to the National Forest Park every day. And special thumbs up to the restaurant staff who made fresh food for breakfast and diner! 🙏🏽 It was rainy weather during our stay so one morning we joined the activity hosted at the reception. We handmade a cute souvenir and said hi to the lovely furry friends. TLDR: we had a great stay and would definitely recommend No. 5 Vally Inn!
