Hotels in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie

Hotel is old and due a renovation, yes price and location is good but I was very disappointed with the room, windows facing stairs where people frequently walk, your only options are to have 0 sunlight or have strangers stare in your room. Since there’s no separate bathroom (all in 1 room) there’s not even a secure place to change. Looks a lot better in pictures than reality. But, for 300 yuan honestly it’s okay. Very lovely and helpful staff!

Excellent service and really helpful owner. He helped us with the tickets and can help with the routes around the park too. The room was big, clean and stylish. We really enjoyed our 5 days there. Also just few blocks away from the bus station. We got complimentary ice cream when arrived and the bag of local tea upon the checkout. So sweet!

Highly recommended for those who are planning to visit Zhangjiajie National Park. It's located near the East Gate entrance by just a 10 minute walk. The rooms that we stayed were spacious, comfortable and clean. Most importantly is their reception staff, who offers excellent service, reccomendations and care. They also provide suggested itineraries to the park, planned routes to take and purchase tickets for you so that you save time on queuing. Special mention to Ms Xiao Xiao and Zoe for their helpful services. They will 'wechat' you prior to your stay and provide whatever queries you might need eg. cost of tickets and length of visit to the parks base on your selected routes. As for the rooms, the beds are comfy, air-conditioning is good and shower flow adequate. There's also a daily fruit basket extended to every rooms. Breakfast is also available and choices are good with a nice variation of local dishes. Use of laundry is also provided for all customers. Their only cons is, the dryer is not strong enough to fully dry your clothes. Overall, we are still very happy to have made the right choice to stay here and would definitely return to this hotel if we return to Wulingyuan. Kudos and keep it up. 👍

I stayed at Valley Love for two days and was pleasantly surprised to find such a wonderful B&B in Zhangjiajie. I'm so grateful to have found such a wonderful B&B. 1. The room is clean, comfortable, spacious, and fully equipped with smart technology. Even if I do nothing, just sitting in the room and looking out the window is incredibly relaxing. 2. The B&B has a beautiful environment with fresh air. There's a small courtyard with a tranquil mountain atmosphere, as well as some Instagram-worthy scenes. There's also a small slide and swing, and it's perfect for stargazing at night. It caters to the needs of the elderly, middle-aged, and children alike. 3. The B&B's shuttle service is excellent. After placing an order, the housekeeper proactively contacts me to confirm the arrival of the bus. The driver arrives early to meet me at the station, and there are very clear exit instructions. The driver is a skilled and attentive driver, taking care of my family's needs, including the air conditioning temperature and driving speed. It was a wonderful experience. 4. The B&B's breakfast is nutritious, plentiful, and delicious. Lunch and dinner are available a la carte, and the food is excellent, tasty, and very reasonably priced. As someone who's trying to lose weight, I often end up eating three bowls of rice. 5. All the service staff of the B&B are very friendly, and even the aunties in the restaurant will interact with the children in a friendly manner. My child is slow to warm up, but at Valley Love, he adapted very quickly and is willing to actively communicate with the housekeeper at the front desk to express his needs. 6. I originally booked a two-day B&B, and after arriving at the store, I was really satisfied and wanted to renew it for two more days. Unfortunately, the elderly family had health problems and ended the trip early. Thanks to the Valley Love staff for coming to check on the elderly family in the early morning and helping to find medicine from the medicine box (the medicine box is very well prepared). After breakfast in the morning, the driver took us to the high-speed rail station, and the B&B also gave us customized souvenirs. The elderly family said that if she hadn't been unwell, she really wanted to continue staying in Valley Love for vacation. Looking forward to coming back next time~

Very good, the B&B is clean and hygienic, and it's a good place to rest. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and the service is very thoughtful. She recommended us tourist routes and gave us a lot of suggestions, so that we can avoid detours. We added WeChat, so we can contact her wherever we go. If we don't understand, we can ask her and she will guide us patiently. She cooked delicious meals and it felt like home.

All round an excellent hotel! Very friendly staff, happy to bring/collect us from the national park, even late at night. The photos in the listing are genuine and match the quality of the rooms. Very authentic decor and a 5 minute drive from the national park. The breakfasts were the best meals we had for the whole trip (Zhangjiajie lacks decent restaurants).

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The location is perfect – close to all the key attractions like the Avatar mountains (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park) and Heaven’s Gate (Tianmen Mountain). Glass bridge and Grand Canyon, Bailong Elevator. The hotel staff went above and beyond, helping us plan our entire sightseeing itinerary. They even arranged hotel drivers to drop us off and pick us up from scenic spots – super convenient! The breakfast was great every morning – lots of variety and good quality. There’s also a fantastic Korean BBQ restaurant nearby that the whole family loved. There’s a lovely pool at the hotel, but we were so busy exploring that we didn’t get a chance to use it. Honestly, we wish we had stayed longer – it was that good! Highly recommend for families or anyone wanting a hassle-free, memorable Zhangjiajie experience.

I just couldn't leave a review about this hotel, because everything here was at the highest level! This beautiful hotel is located among the mountains and surrounded by green beauty, fresh air, beautiful views! And now the hotel itself, when I arrived immediately, a man from the registration desk came up and helped with the luggage and what surprised me, he fully communicated with me in English, you rarely meet such hotel staff in China! From the room there was a beautiful view from the panoramic windows, and breakfast on the terrace is something not incredible with a breathtaking view! And I would also like to thank Justina, the man from the registration desk, who surprised me with his gift, thank you very much for the warm hospitality! I advise everyone to stay at this hotel👍

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at №5 Valley Inn (张家界五号山谷). This hotel is a true gem, offering the perfect mix of comfort, breathtaking scenery, and exceptional service. The villas are stunning—beautifully designed, spacious, and surrounded by nature, allowing you to truly relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The swimming pool is a highlight, with incredible views that make you feel like you’re in paradise. The location is unbeatable, just a short distance from Zhangjiajie National Park, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. What really stood out to me was the service. The manager speaks English, which made communication so easy, and they were extremely helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. If you’re planning a trip to Zhangjiajie, I highly recommend staying here. It’s a place where you can unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy top-notch hospitality. I can’t wait to come back!

The room is quite big and spacious. The boss and his wife are very hospitable and recommended us the tour route of Zhangjiajie Forest Park. The environment outside the B&B is very comfortable and quiet, with mountains and streams, which is very suitable for living. It is very close to the North Gate. The breakfast is also very delicious, with eggs, noodles and small side dishes. It is worth recommending! !
