The hotel covers a total area of 3,500m², with a built-up area of 1,800m². Located at Zimugang in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie, it is only 80 meters away in a straight line from the Zimugang Ticket Office of Zhangjiajie Forest Park, providing great convenience for travelers. The homestay's public areas include a restaurant, bar, gym, tea room, and meeting room. First time experiencing a homestay like this, and the owner is the reason I want to do it again. I usually don't write reviews like this, but the service baffled me. The day before my arrival, the owner asked ways to contact; we added eachother on WeChat and communication was extremely easy. Gave me options from picking up from the airport to tips on how to get there safely and easy. This made the arrival very easy and I felt safe/confident. They took our luggage to the room, accomodation itself was quite pleasant, everything was clean and they were understanding. The place is quite remote, so there were barely any food options. The owner offered us their food options, first I wasn't intrigued but in the end we chose to order. It went smoothly, got a message we could come downstairs for food; it was an amazing homecooked meal that made me feel like I was back home. After dinner he insisted to plan our whole 2-day Zhangjiajie itinerary. From ways to travel to activities. He made clear how we could get the most out of the 2 days while being realistic about time. This went to smoothly, he purchased the tickets for us for the retail price, similar to the price on trip.com. The days went by so smoothly, it was like having a free tour guide with the stay. When there were any questions, messages and calls were responded immediately. I can write so much more, but all I can say is that this was one of the best experiences I've ever had while staying in any accomodation, even compared to high-end hotels. It is about a 10 minute drive from the east gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Scenic Area, about a 40 minute drive from Tianmen Mountain Forest Park and Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, about a 250 minute drive from Zhangjiajie West High speed Railway Station, and about a 45 minute drive from the airport and Zhangjiajie Railway Station.
