Wow, it’s a very well-designed white Mediterranean-style large suite. The view on the 15th floor is great. The view is wide and the night view is beautiful. The room is very clean. The boss lady even asked me if I would mind if the toilet is a squat toilet. She is so attentive. ...For someone like me who doesn’t like using the toilet, this squatting toilet is very suitable for me. It’s clean and hygienic. I love it! Don't worry, guys, go for it...

Lovely hotel, very clean and staff very friendly. Location close to many attractions, had a variety of breakfast options and good facilities.
Only issue was with the clothes dryer where it was just plain air circulating around my clothes so it took the whole night to dry. The mini bar drinks that were also supposed to be included were not.

The hotel is at the 10th floor. The owner/staff was really kind, they explain everytg and showed us our room. They let us do early checkin as we arrived early in the morning. They also allowed us to store our luggages there if necessary. The location is right behind the tianmen cable car station, less than 5 minutes walk. For those who are asking about halal food, there are two halal eateries just opposite the road, in front of the main gate of cablecar station. I use this zhongyong no 1 in Didi to drop off exactly in front of the restaurant.

This hotel has the best staff in the 30 days I visited China. I liked them so much that when I had a few extra days left in my trip, I headed back to Zhangjiajie and straight to this hotel.
The hotel staff made me feel like this should be my home. They even taught me how to make tea. The breakfast was always tasty and I looked forward to having breakfast every day.
I’m giving the facilities 4/5 stars because they lack a dryer, and the gym was not usable.
I didn’t deduct any points for the construction that was going on because you cannot fault a hotel in trying to improve themselves. When I asked to change to a quieter room, they were very accommodating and honored my request.

XXinerxinerThis is the windy courtyard in my mind. A few years ago, Fairy Sister and Li Xian filmed ”A Place with Wind”. I really yearned for the windy courtyard in Yunmiao Village. If you yearn for freedom and stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you must come here. This is the windy courtyard in Zhangjiajie, which exceeded expectations. Coming to Zhangjiajie is the fourth stop of our trip. I am a little tired. When I was planning the hotel before coming, I hesitated for a long time between the central area of the landmark gate and here, because I was afraid that transportation would be inconvenient in the mountains, but I was particularly yearning for the small courtyard. In the end, I chose to come here. It was no different from the picture on the homepage, and the price was very affordable. It was already dark when I arrived at the B&B. It was very cold in the mountains at night in late October. The boss arranged a special car to pick us up at the station and took us directly to the courtyard. The boss and his wife also warmly greeted us at the door. The boss and his wife are retired civil servants. They are a super good old couple with a pattern and a mind. They run this small courtyard in the mountains. In addition to restoring the traditional Tujia architectural style, all the food is grown by themselves. There are chickens in a pen at the door, a small vegetable garden, a fig tree and a crisp persimmon tree. There is a kitten in the yard that is particularly clingy. There are clever ideas everywhere. Chinese and Western breakfasts are provided every morning, with steamed buns made by the aunts, porridge, steamed sweet potatoes, boiled free-range eggs... freshly cooked rice noodles, soy milk coffee, and fresh fruits. After playing, you can return to the yard to order lunch and dinner, all of which are green ingredients. The boss is determined to engage in green industry 👍, and the taste is super delicious. I have written so much, please come and hit me if I am not good enough. I really am not a shill. I really don’t want to leave after staying here for three nights. I enjoy it without leaving the yard. I also met many international friends here. If you come to Zhangjiajie, don’t miss this place^-^

GGuest UserVery close to the cable cars. Good central base for seeing a lot in the wonderful city of Zhangjiajie. Staff was welcoming and kind. The room was very comfortable. Arrived late at night as flight landed late from Shanghai. Via Didi took about 15 minutes to get to hotel then another 5 minutes to our room. Breakfast was very amazing. Staff welcomed us every morning and complimented us. Our Chinese was poor but we communicated through translation apps. Thankful as English speakers to feel so welcomed and safe here. Zhangjiajie as a whole felt very welcoming. Loved our stay. Be sure to see sandstone painting exhibit when in town.

Asheng, Hu, and a female staff member ensured safe and comfortable transport for each trip 🚙. They confirmed our plans, reminded us of tickets, and Asheng was always there to watch over us when returning late. Hu also picked us up from 72 Kiru, and we were very grateful ☺. FOGGY VALLEY’s surroundings were breathtaking. The views from the guesthouse were magical—morning mist resembling a dream and illuminated mountains at night 🌄. After visiting, I appreciated the value of the traditional Xiangxi architecture more and hope to explore more next time. The scenery, reminiscent of the mythical ”Peach Blossom Spring,” brought a sense of tranquility.

The Chinese breakfast included warm dumplings and various options 🍲. The warm beef noodle soup, coffee machine, soy milk, yogurt, salad, fruit, and toast were great. The local berry tea and nuts were perfect for hikes 🌳. The complimentary laundry service made our stay more comfortable 🧺. TThereseWe had a very nice stay, we stayed 3 people in one room. The room we stayed in was very big and had its own unique style. It was very clean. The hotel is very close to the South Gate of the park. It's a little hidden away from the road, but they were very quick to come and pick us up and drove us to the park entrance every day free of charge. Breakfast eggs come from free range chicken on the ground and they were excellent. Over all the food was very good. It's a small hotel run by a family and they are all very nice and helpful with planning your stay. Location is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Upon arriving at the inn, I was greeted by Wu, whose warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. He seemed to sense that I needed more than just a room; I needed an escape, a way to reconnect with nature and find peace amidst my worries. Wu went above and beyond, providing me with a hand-drawn map of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and crafting a personalized itinerary that perfectly suited my pace and interests.
Wu’s local insights were invaluable. He knew the park like the back of his hand and took the time to highlight lesser-known trails and viewpoints that offered stunning vistas without the crowds. His suggestions were exactly what I needed—places where I could take in the breathtaking beauty of the park and reflect, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
The inn itself was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Each evening, after a day of exploring, I returned to a warm and comfortable space that offered solace and tranquility. The location of the inn was ideal, nestled close enough to the park to make early starts easy, yet far enough away to provide a quiet retreat.
During my two-day tour of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, I experienced moments of pure awe that felt almost like a healing process. Standing at the edge of towering cliffs, surrounded by the iconic sandstone pillars, I found a sense of peace that had eluded me in the sterile environment of hospital rooms and medical appointments. The park’s natural beauty, combined with Wu’s thoughtful guidance, allowed me to truly immerse myself in the moment, leaving my health concerns behind, if only for a little while.
Wu’s genuine kindness and eagerness to help made my time in Zhangjiajie not just successful, but deeply fulfilling. His assistance turned what could have been a standard stay into something truly special. She went above and beyond to assist us, offering great restaurant recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed, including providing water during our multi-night stay.
Her dedication and genuine care for guests truly reflect the high standards of hospitality that every hotel should strive for. Meesa is an excellent example of service-minded professionalism, and her efforts made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and applaud the team for their commitment to great service.
I had a pleasant stay overall, but there was an issue on the first night that affected my experience. My sleep was disrupted due to a strong smell of smoke coming from another room, which somehow entered my room. This was disappointing as it impacted my comfort during the stay.

From the moment we arrived, the personalized service made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with logistics, arranging everything from tickets to transportation, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. The 24/7 attention was impeccable, and the beautiful location and facilities added to the charm of the resort, we got a feeling of Avatar 2.0
One highlight was the great variety offered at breakfast, which we thoroughly enjoyed each morning. Both of the resort’s restaurants served excellent food, adding to our overall dining pleasure.

GGuest UserI had a great experience at this hostel in Wulingyuan! The location is perfect—right near the entrance to the national park and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and food stalls, which made it super convenient.
The host was amazing! When I asked for a different room due to some loud snorers in my original room, they were really understanding and helped me move right away, which made a big difference in my stay. Plus, the host’s dog is super cute. Highly recommend this place!

SSHEETOThis was our last leg of our China trip. The 4 days 3 nights stay at Manyuan was wonderful. The team of staff we met was thoughtful and helpful, and the lead staff 彭谊stood out as a true attentive person. She guided us to book DiDi online Taxi and recommended places for dinner.
In addition to enthusiastically recommending us places to go and buying tickets for us for the WuLingYuan National park and ZhangJiaJie Great Canyon with discount, we could feel that they were very concerned about our daily life. My wife said that every day when we returned to the hotel, she felt like she was back home when she heard the friendly ”You're back”.
Our female butler 缘缘 helps monitor my online 淘宝purchase that delivered to the hotel. Another two staff worth mentioned was 晓晓 who guide us on the route in the national park of places of interest and skip others if time constraints. And 陈双凤who help us to setup the herbal foot bath.
We have chosen Manyuan for its non smoking, clean, spacious rooms that overseeing the stream and sitting there with a glass of wine. It is also easy access to WuLingYuan National Park East gate. There are plenty of Chinese selection for the breakfast. My wife and I especially enjoyed and appreciated the coffee machine, which hardly available in other hotels.
We are deeply grateful that we were allowed for late checkout with a small fee due midnight flight. This is really warm and accommodating experience and highly recommend Manyuan to future travelers coming to ZhangJiaJie.

我们选择满园酒店是因为这里有干净、宽敞的禁烟客房，在阳台可以俯瞰溪流，小酎一杯。从酒店前往武陵源国家公园东门也很方便。早餐有很多选择。我和妻子特别喜欢并感谢酒店的咖啡机，这在其他酒店很难找到。
由于我们的搭的是午夜航班，酒店允许我们以付个小费用延迟退房，我们对此深表感谢。对我们来说这是一个非常温暖和照顾周到的住宿体验，强烈推荐未来来张家界的旅客入住曼缘渡假酒店。

SSS-SingaporeReach ZJJ west station via the high speed rail from Changsha. After Existing the station, keep left to the Bus Station to WuLingYuan. Need to tell the staff there so they will ask the bus to detour into the station to pick ups up. Cost 13RMB per trip. Tell the Bus driver u going to East Gate, Dong Meng. You will alight after the round about along WuLing Road. From there it's just a 5 mins walk to the hotel. Greeted by Mr Yang. the owner of the hotel. I reached the hotel early at 10am, Mr Yang is nice enough to prep the room early and let me check-in. He orientated me to the surrounding and suggest my route to tour the national park. I was staying there for 3 nights. So i bought the 4 days entry ticket + unlimited Cable Cars(3 routes) & BaiLong lift ride. Very worth it if you are staying there for 4 days. Mr Yang helped me to purchase the ticket at a discount price (488RMB). Totally enjoyed the walk, hike, climb, cable car rides & lift rides as it's a low tourist season. But I make an effort to wake yp early and take the first scenic shuttle bus to the locations. The East Gate opens at 7am in the morning, closed at abt 730pm. The East Gate where the WuLingMeng landmark building is, is where all the shuttle buses will depart to the different locations, eg, to TianZhiShan, BaiLong Elevator or Ten Miles gallery. I will usually Didi to and back from the East gate to the hotel, cost abt 6-8RMB. Walking is about 1.5km. 15mins. I skip the Grand Canyon as I think it's abit overpriced and not very scenic. After the stay, I took the same public bus to ZJJ city for TianZhiShan. The pickup location for the public bus is at the same round abt, just wave at the blue bus with the label to ZJJ. Price is also 13rmb and can be paid onboard via WeChat pay. My Yang help me to buy the mountain ticket in advance as its always crowded there. I paid 238rmb for Route 2 ticket which is taking the bus up the mountain and cable car back to the city. It was super nice up in the mountain and the cable car ride was a superb experience. If you need more info can email me @ *****************. Can share more with u solo traveler. Additional Info: The location of the hotel is the best I feel, there are many shops and eatery. Do not stay at the west gate area of WuLingYuan, it's very inconvenient there. The room of the hotel is super big and clean. Bed is VERY comfortable. You have everything you need in the room. Mr Yang will often make me Chinese tea and chit chat. Very friendly and humble boss. Will definitely come back and stay in his hotel again.
