It is located at a strategic location. Easy access to the tram zone. It is quiet, clean, tidy, and breakfast is good. Friendly staff when check-in at the hotel. There is a nice Thai restaurant just opposite the hotel, reasonable price and cooked by Thai. Overall it is a good & full score. I will definitely stay again if I travel to Zurich.
Easy go to center by tram (3 min walk and some 10~15 min ride to Zurich main station and 20 min to lake), Very quiet neigborhood. Many restaurents options in walking distance. Great staff and very good breakfast. Zurich public transportation is super! It worth it to buy a Zurich card if you plan to go museums, lake cruise, cable cars, etc.
The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. What I appreciated most was the comprehensive range of power outlets; in addition to Swiss standard sockets, there were also European standard ones. Crucially, the Swiss outlets weren't the recessed type, which made it incredibly easy to use various plugs and adapters (as shown in image 9). An electric kettle was also provided in the room.
While the hotel's location is a bit further from the train station, Old Town, and lakeside attractions, public transport connections are extremely convenient. Tram line 3 provides direct access between the hotel and the train station (the tram stop is about a 7-8 minute walk to the left after exiting the hotel). Tram line 2 takes you to the Old Town, Bahnhofstrasse, Lake Zurich, and other sights (this tram stop is within a 3-4 minute walk to the right after exiting the hotel, see images 7 & 8).
The hotel breakfast was quite good, offering a rich and delicious selection.
Upon check-in, a credit card pre-authorization for a security deposit of CHF 150 per room was required. The city tax was CHF 3.5 per person per night.
Reasonably priced hotel with its excellent location with frequent trams to city centre and lake from Just outside the door. The receptionist was very helpful, giving me a map of the city with details of the trams to the main attractions.

The good:
(1) Price is decent, located 1 stop away from Zurich HB. Also has Coop and Migros nearby. Some restaurants around the train station but not many choices.
(2) Bed and pillows are very comfortable
The not so great:
(1) No kettle provided, so don’t expect any free coffee / tea in the room, which you will normally expect. You need to get down to the lobby to get hot water which is super inconvenient
(2) No fridge in the room, so expect to consume all cold drinks etc unless you want lukewarm drinks
(3) No safe in the room
Technically, expect a super basic room with just bed, tv and toilet. Not something I expect from a Mercure brand.
Our first time staying here. There's a free hotel shuttle from ZRH Airport. Outside from Arrival 2 to the left side and the shuttle bus was on the middle curb.
From hotel to ZRH Airport, they charge CHF10 per pax.
Room was small but we enjoyed our stay.
Ironing facilities & hair dryer provided.
It's 8 mins walking distance to Rùmlang train station.
As the name suggests the hotel is Central to many food options, Zurich HB (200m) and shopping.
We loved the stroll around the city at night and liked that there was a supermarket just across the road.
We stayed in both a Junior Suite and Double Bedroom as we had to extend our stay. Junior Suite is extremely spacious with a full lounge and desk separate from the bedroom. The look of the rooms are a bit dated but clean and well maintained.
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful which made our stay delightful.

This is a lovely hotel with a convenient location—just 20 minutes from Zurich Airport. It's close to the ICB and a bus stop, making travel easy. The food is exceptional, and the atmosphere is clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

It takes about five minutes to walk from the airport to the hotel, which is very suitable for people who take early flights. The hotel's restaurant is more expensive, so we usually have dinner while walking around the city before returning to the hotel. Because it is close to the airport, it is also very convenient to take public transportation to the city.

I am pleased with my overall stay at Hotel Stroller. My only comment/complaint is the glasses. There are disposable paper cups instead of glass and/or porcelain. Water, soda, coffee are complementary. No conditioner. Shampoo and body wash are the same. Luckily I had my belongings with me.

AAngelinchinaThis hostel is clean and conveniently located, close to the main touristic attractions and the main train station. Shared bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The room is comfortable.
However - the hostel is just next door to a bar, so it’s very noisy until the bar closes (on a Friday night is 2AM). checkout time is at 10AM, which is not only unusual but very inconvenient.
I won’t be staying in this hotel when I return to Zurich
GGuest UserThe location is just average. Getting to the airport requires a tram ride (2.4 CHF one-way), and the free airport shuttle doesn't run between 12 PM and 4 PM. The facilities are dated, though the room itself was quite spacious. The staff seemed very eager to help, but in reality, they were quite ineffective at resolving issues. For instance, upon arrival at the official check-in time, they informed me my room wasn't ready and merely offered a bottle of water. I then had to go back to them to clarify that the room type I was assigned didn't match my booking. While their attitude was polite, they were still unable to effectively resolve the problem. Its only redeeming quality is the affordable price, making it an acceptable option for a quick transit stay.
HHLIUThe hotel is located at the highest point in Zurich. It is difficult to drag luggage up the mountain after the train arrives. You can ask the shuttle bus to help transport the luggage. When you ask them for help in the morning, you still have to look at their faces, and they will make a bad look for you :)
Pros: The room is clean and large, and the view is beautiful! Both night view and sunrise are great
Disadvantages: The attitude of some service staff is very bad! I asked the hotel if there was a hot water kettle and was given an uncleaned one. It was a very bad experience!
HHanyiiService was good. A bit far from the tourist spots. Room was very clean and had plenty of amenities. Woke up the next morning and saw water leaking from ceiling.

XXihuanhuanyoushijiedelvxingdarenThis hotel is conveniently located near the airport, making it a good option for those traveling by car. It offers excellent value for money, and the rooms are quite spacious and modern. There's a Swiss restaurant on the ground floor; I ordered steak, which was both expensive and unappetizing, so I definitely wouldn't recommend it. Parking at the hotel costs 25 Swiss Francs, and breakfast was just average.
CClaire MOur family of six stayed a the Capsule Hotel - Alpine Garden Zurich Airport to have a few hours to sleep comfortably between two connecting flight with an overnight layover. The Capsule Hotel is right at the airport in Zurich, easy to find, to access, to check in and out even at late or very early hours - everything is automated, so no personal contact is needed. When booking I could add that I would like the capsules to be adjacent to each other and received an email that that will be taken care of. So it was. The capsules were super clean, quite spacious (our cabin luggage fit in conveniently) and nicely set up, lighting was warm and for my taste perfect. It said that the air in the cabin is being exchanged 22 times a day, so the feel should be like the window in a room is always open. I had a quite good night. My husband and one of my kids felt like there was not enough oxygen in the capsule despite the air exchange. Obviously, we could hear the guest of the other capsules (altogether 26 in that room) come and go even though everyone tried to be as quiet as possible, but that was acceptable, given the fact that the capsule hotel concept includes coming and going whenever the respective flights arrive/depart. If you get an upper capsule you'll have to do a bit of an exercise to get up and down, but that's not so bad after all. 😉
Access to the capsules is via code that will be sent to you after check-in and is also access to the room where your block of capsules are in. There is a women and men bathroom, each set up nicely, with separate shower and changing cabins, a pile of floor mats to use, toilets, basins, mirrors - all was clean and looked very natural with a lot of wood being used for decorating/building. Altogether, I great concept, a convenient stay, I'm very glad that we could try it out! The next morning, we were at our check-in in no time - seriously cool!
GGuest UserThe location was excellent and we could check in at the airport terminal within a 15-minute walking distance. Besides, the railway terminal was nearby and there was train towards Zurich city center about every 30 minutes. The hotel was clean, tidy and stylish. Our stay at the hotel was very comfortable. Thank you.
AAnonymous UserOur room was spacious and comfortable, elegantly decorated and equipped with modern facilities. The magnificent mountain view outside the window was a pleasure to wake up every morning. The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good sleep quality.
