Stayed here while visiting family in Warwick, perfect location for us and whilst it’s not 5 star it certainly offered everything we needed, expected. Additional £5 per night parking is something introduced this year which obviously not a fan of but hey ho. Will be staying again. £20 per dog per stay charge if anyone is wanting to know the fee
1. The hotel location is fine. Near the town and nearby cafe. Nice.
2. The room have USB C charging port. Good for my Apple Iphone 16 power up. The lighting control of the room is simple and easy to manage.
3. Breakfast: Good, Much Choices.
4. Staff service: On June 1, I requested the duty staff at the lobby at 7:30 AM to arrange for my room cleaning, including towel replacement. Unfortunately, upon my return at 10:00 PM, the room had not been cleaned. As it was very late, I chose not to call for staff assistance and cleaned the room myself. This is an area where the hotel can improve its service reliability.
I had an absolutely delightful stay here. The rooms were spotless, provided in the rooms were coffee machines, bath robes, room slippers, hair dryers. There were basic toiletries and you could ask for vanity kits or shaving kits as well.
The in room dining menu is priced very well but it is not all day, so do check with the reception.
There is so much to do around the property and there’s ample parking available as well.
The indoor pool is heated and can be used till 8PM. Breakfast is from 7-10AM and is a lovely spread.
The room is on the top floor, a typical British attic renovation, with a very limited view, but other than that it's OK, especially the service in the restaurant is great. In the morning, because I was in a hurry, the lady in the restaurant helped me prepare some food temporarily, which was great, thank you
This venue was stunning, a beautiful quiet location to catch your breath or walk into Stratford-upon-Avon to enjoy the architecture and see the history.
Wish we could have spent more time there, and we would certainly plan to return and explore further.
Very clean, tidy, and spacious accommodation.
Fittings within the room and in the hotel were excellent. Linen and towels were of superb quality.
The service was excellent throughout, and all the staff were extremely polite and helpful.
Very good, the address is far away, the traffic is not very convenient, but the boss is very good, relatively biased but the environment is good, it is also a good choice, next time you have the opportunity to live
Very clean room and quick check in.
Staff are friendly, and very willing to help

GGuest UserCouple with dog.
For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did.
On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us.
We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did!
I have a video of the water pressure.
On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!
GGuest UserOverall our experience was about average, if not below. When we arrived to check-in about late afternoon, the English female staff at reception was either tired or just didn't like us, or probablyjustme as I'm Not English. She basically just checked us in and told us the basic information about where our room was, where the restaurant was and the meal times. No information was mentioned about the spa/pool amenities nor about the hotel wifi. We assumed that those information would be in our room but we didn't see it straight away. We had to come back down to ask for the password and had to inquire about booking our evening dinner as it wasn't provided upon check in. I felt discriminated because I wasn't ”white” but my partner was.
Next is about the staff at the bar. Again I felt discriminated because I stood in front of the bar to order some drinks. The English female staff already saw me but was too preoccupied texting on her mobile and instead of saying ”I will be with you in a moment” she just walked away and got another member of staff, a male one, to attend to me and my partner. My partner and I have never experienced this kind of treatment from all of the hotels that we've been in. I wouldn't be surprised if the English staff in your hotel treats their non-English colleagues the same way.
GGuest UserLovely friendly hotel, room was a good size, warm, they accommodate pets which was why we chose it, free tea and coffee all day, buffet breakfast was a highlight, very much recommend! Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, nice area, hallway carpets could use a refresh, there is no gym room as advertised as it recently closed, overall excellent place to stay
YYuanI came to stay as I needed to attend a meeting in the Birmingham Business Park the next day morning. The B&B was on the edge of the Coleshill. It was an okay stay, and just about okay. I won't be against staying there again, but there is nothing special to lure me back either.
Plus: James ware expecting me when I arrived and showed me the key and the room. He also took my order for the next morning. The room was of decent size. There are lots of lights in the room. The bed was okay. There is on site parking space. The breakfast was ready when I walked down to the dining room.
Minus: At £148 a nigh this was certainly not good value for money. The facility was a bit basic, albeit adequate (tea/coffee/kettle/biscuits and hair dryer). There was one bottle for hair/body wash and there was a small soap in the bathroom. Bathroom is just about of adequate size for one person. The water temperate varied a bit while on show, but workable.
Also my room was on 2nd floor, with narrow steep stairs. It was okay for me as I traveled very light. But it would be tricky for someone with big luggage or mobility restraint.

AAnonymous UserI spent two nights here for the Shakespeare celebrations and absolutely loved it. The house has such a perfect ambience — cozy and welcoming.
The room was perfect, too: spacious, clean, and comfortable. I also liked that they had a TV in the room — it was nice to have it on for some white noise since I was travelling alone. Plus, they provided an electric kettle with instant coffee, milk, and tea, which was a nice touch.
The bathroom was spotless, and the amenities (soap, towels, etc.) were complete.
They offered several options for breakfast, but I always went with the English breakfast—and it was so good! Not to forget, cereals, fruit, jam, and milk were also available in the dining room.
It's too bad I didn’t have the chance to enjoy the separate kitchen, but the street view from its window gave it such good vibes.
I would definitely come back here if I revisit this city!
GGuest UserLovely room and bathroom was really nice with walk in shower and bath, under bed lighting which came on when going to the loo in the night which is helpful in strange places. Breakfast included
The balcony was private with amazing views. Took duck and swan food and the ducks and fish came from everywhere lovely to watch Deb
JJulianThis hotel is in a beautiful setting, convenient for Rugby and the M1/M6. The grounds and building are beautiful, although there are signs of neglect. We stayed in a suite in the Stables, it was tired, which I knew from the photos online but our bathroom had hair in the bath and clogged in the plughole. The shower didn't run hot and the toilet flush was poor. Breakfast was mediocre at best, lots of hot food had run out with no-one keeping an eye, we had to ask for items to be brought out. The staff were 50/50 - some very pleasant but some disinterested, one of the receptionists didn't even give us directions to our room properly suite. If some money was spent on improving the rooms and building I would have been happy to pay more, it is a real shame is the potential is immense!
