The room is incredibly spacious, even larger than suites in many high-end or luxury hotels. The service is excellent, and the breakfast pastries are top-notch. This is an absolute gem of a hotel, highly recommended! 👍

it was such a lovely stay! the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. complementary water was very much appreciated. i tried the in-room dining twice, both times i enjoyed the food a lot. the breakfast buffet was rich and abundant with so many quality food. all the staff were very friendly and helpful. i like to walk a lot when i travel, and the hotel was located in the heart of the city where you can easily reach anywhere you want as a tourist. highly recommend!

This hotel has such a playful vibe! The rooms, hallways, elevators, and even the restaurant are all so stylish. It's exciting to come back to the hotel after a day of sightseeing. I had a moment of panic when I realized I'd left my bag, with my passport and money, in a locker at a hot spring tourist spot. The staff here were incredibly helpful and handled the situation with such care, even making a call in Hungarian for me. Thanks to them, I got everything back and could continue my trip without losing a single thing. It was an extra bonus to find out some of the staff could speak a little Japanese! There are tons of restaurants just a short walk away, plus a subway station nearby, and several supermarkets. This is truly a wonderful hotel, and I'd love to stay here again and again.

The Marriott's location is absolutely fantastic, but the room size was surprisingly small, and the bathroom made me feel like I'd stepped into a 3-star motel! Perhaps because of the location, our river view room offered beautiful views of the Danube and Chain Bridge, both day and night. Plus, Pier 7 is right downstairs, making boat trips super convenient. However, on weekend nights, the downstairs dance bar doesn't quiet down until 11 or 12, and you can still hear the noise even with the windows closed. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to consider that, but the view truly is excellent. The hotel's front desk staff were very helpful and even booked a taxi for us to the airport. Overall, the service was great!

The hotel provides water dispensers with fresh drinking water available daily, which is very convenient and contributes positively to overall comfort. In addition, fresh juices are offered, providing a pleasant and refreshing option throughout the day. It is also worth highlighting that there is a selection of desserts available without added sugar, which is a thoughtful and health-conscious offering. Furthermore, the bus stop is very easily accessible on foot and offers quick and convenient connections to the city center, making it simple to explore the area without the need for a car.

Sophisticated hotel in a convenient location. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were decent in size, ours had a view out to the courtyard. Breakfast had plenty of options and was nice. There’s a luggage store at the hotel in case of early arrival. The roof top pool and sauna wellness centre was a lovely bonus and a great start to the day.

The idea of staying in a castle monastery is appealing, especially if you prefer a quieter side of Budapest. The room was pleasant, but not overly luxurious. The breakfast was simple, and the music was too loud when I woke up. The location wasn’t convenient for me, and the monastery experience didn’t live up to my expectations. I stayed on the other side of Pest and had a much better time.

The hotel is located in the city center. There are shops around. You can walk to the attractions. After all, Budapest has many attractions. Service: Overall, I am very satisfied. Every staff member will ask if you need help and take the initiative to help with the luggage. The plane arrived at the hotel at about 10:30 in the morning. I waited for more than 10 minutes before the room was given to me. You must also choose breakfast. There are not many types of breakfast, but they are very delicate. Every dish is very good. There are single dishes and buffets. Breakfast is in the hotel’s own Michelin restaurant on the first floor. Talk about the shortcomings: I booked a Matilda Suite, but I was given the most basic king-size bed room? ? ? I didn’t react until the third day of my stay, so I didn’t negotiate with the hotel. The hotel is not large, but the facilities are very new. The sanitation is still quite satisfactory. Some places that are not easy to see need to be cleaned! Overall, it is still recommended!

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and professional, from the moment we arrived at the hotel entrance, through check-in, and all the way to check-out and luggage handling. Every service was polite and attentive. The hotel breakfast was quite rich, with à la carte options, and the fruit was delicious. The room size was quite large for European standards, and housekeeping was prompt and thorough. The only minor drawback was that the shower facilities in the room were a bit old-fashioned and the drainage wasn't great.

Check-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.
