Luxury Hotels in Budapest

"The rooms booked by Ctrip are always in the worst locations, and the hotel will not change this status even if there are many vacancies. What's more terrible is that for the same price, you can get a good location through ***********. I don't understand. This time, two different rooms, with the same price, were booked through different companies, and the result was like this. Ctrip should think: why?"

"We stayed at the Hilton Budapest in early July. We had booked a King Danube River Suite / Corner Suite (70 m²) for two nights, but at check-in, we were informed that the hotel had upgraded us to the Presidential Suite with Danube River View (160 m²)! This is the only room of its kind in the entire hotel! The Presidential Suite was absolutely incredible! The room also had a welcome gift from the hotel: a bottle of red wine and two handmade chocolates. We have often favored Hilton hotels for over 25 years, but upgrades have been rare. Hilton Budapest is quite large (322 rooms) and boasts a prime central location on the Buda side of Budapest, offering stunning views of the Danube River and other landmarks on the Pest side of the city. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly. The Executive Club Lounge offers a good selection of alcoholic beverages, along with a wide assortment of food and drinks. The food selection can vary, unfortunately, from excellent to quite lackluster. The service, however, is consistently top-notch. In summary: The hotel is centrally located, close to all major attractions. It offers excellent service and cleanliness, as well as fantastic bedding and mesmerizing views of the Danube and Parliament from the window! There are many great places to walk around the hotel, and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Our immense gratitude goes to the hotel management for the superb service, attention to detail, and the organization of flawless operations, cleanliness, and comfort. It's clear that the management genuinely cares about their guests and puts their heart into their work! Special thanks to the General Manager, Hajnalka Hegedüs, for her efforts and passion, which allow guests to enjoy such impeccable luxury service! This is a hotel we'd love to return to, where you always feel like a valued guest. Hilton Budapest definitely deserves all five stars it has; we can undoubtedly recommend it for a stay and for visiting the city of Budapest! Suggestion: Add background music to the Executive Lounge."

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Right behind it is the commercial center Flosmarti Square, and just down from the square is Váci Street, which leads directly to the Central Market. The Parliament Building is only about a 20-minute walk away, so it's incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. The room features a great wet/dry separation, and the design is very well thought out, with a spacious shower. The hotel's room service is excellent; they even come in every afternoon to turn down the bed, tidy up, and close the curtains to create a perfect sleeping atmosphere. The front desk check-in was a bit frosty. Initially, when we arrived around 1 or 2 PM, they insisted check-in was strictly at 3 PM. However, after asking someone nearby, who might have been a manager, they said we could check in. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

"We had an amazing stay at The Corinthia. We received a warm welcome on arrival and a room upgrade as we were staying for a week. It was my birthday and Christmas during our trip and the hotel team left treats in our room for both occasions. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The bar area was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Aspects of our room were a little tired and if I had paid for this room type I may have been slightly disappointed. It's easy to get around in Budapest as the public transport is brilliant, reliable and regular. There is a tram stop outside the hotel with the nearest metro station only a short walk away."

"The front desk guy was really nice. He gave me a room with a great view, basically right across from Buda Castle. The scenery was superb! I lost my credit card in Austria and explained it to him, and he didn't even charge me a deposit. The only downside is that the hotel is right above a boat dock. Every night, some singing starts, and the bass kicks in with a booming sound until past midnight. It's really not conducive to sleep! If you have trouble sleeping, I'd suggest thinking twice before booking. I saw comments before about it being noisy at night but completely ignored them, and now I'm paying the price. Definitely should have paid more attention to previous reviews."

"The room decor is relatively new, and the space is decent. Breakfast was quite varied, with slight changes over the two days. The service was standard. The only thing I was unhappy with was that the sink drain was a bit clogged; everything else was fine."

"First off, the housekeeping staff told me directly that over half the rooms have twin beds, so they could only give us twin beds. Then they called someone to combine them, and all the sheets and pillowcases were just thrown on the floor. Sure enough, the next day I had bug bites everywhere my skin touched the bed. When I complained downstairs, they said the only way to switch rooms was to upgrade, which would cost an extra 100 euros per day. The bread section at breakfast was swarming with flies. After eating, I definitely had diarrhea. My girlfriend got locked in the bathroom because the shower door got stuck. The repair person just came and removed the plastic strip from the bottom, and then the next day, water leaked everywhere when we showered. Housekeeping only comes to make the beds. They don't refill shower gel when it runs out, and they don't provide new slippers if yours get wet at the pool. If you call downstairs for slippers, you have to wait 20 minutes. On a positive note, the lady at the -1 floor swimming pool was very nice."

"This hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's within easy walking distance to many of Budapest's famous attractions, such as the Parliament Building, Fisherman's Bastion, and Chain Bridge. This saved me a lot of travel time during my trip, allowing me to explore the charm of this beautiful city at a more relaxed pace. During my stay, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. This stay not only added convenience to my trip but also filled my entire Budapest journey with wonderful memories."

"Before I went there, I asked a few friends. They all recommended the Hilton in Fisherman's Bastion. But after doing some research, I felt that the facilities were old and it seemed that I could only take photos. I had a purpose for this trip, which was to experience the glory of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. So I wanted to stay in the castle and finally decided on Hyatt's Choice, which is as famous as Paris Coffee and New York Coffee. (I will write another article about this later. First of all, the lobby is really gorgeous. I asked the front desk and they said that this place used to be a shopping mall with a history of 100 years. Then the facilities in his room are very new. P3~7 is the room and 8~9 is the view outside the window. I really think I booked this location very well. And the transportation is also very convenient. You can walk to eat and drink. Finally, I remind everyone that if you go there, you can walk up the stairs. Because the floor height is not very high, but the stairs are really beautiful. It should be as photogenic as Hilton."
