BrunoLMWe stayed for one night and, while the experience was acceptable, we wouldn’t choose this hotel again.
Although we had booked a premium double room, we were given a twin room instead. We had to push the beds together, which was not ideal. The room felt outdated and could use renovation. There were no light sensors or automatic switches to save energy. The bathroom had a noticeable drain smell. Also, the kettle was placed in a spot without a power socket, so we had to move it to the dresser to make tea — though the tea selection was good.
Check-in was fast and efficient. Our room was ready earlier than expected, which we appreciated. Breakfast was excellent, with gluten-free options and plant-based milks. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.
The elevator was very slow and noisy. In the early morning, we could clearly hear doors slamming and elevator sounds from our room.
A decent option for a short stay, but we’ll look elsewhere next time.

Anonymous UserStayed in the comfort twin room, the shower and beds are only separated by a thin curtain, there is no opaque door for the shower only a fully transparent shower screen. If you are traveling and staying with friends please take note it may be awkward as you can see the other person taking a shower if you want to walk past the shower area to the toilet.
Very bad room design, how can there be no door to the shower!

Guest UserThe hotel is very clean and well-organized. The staff are helpful. We didn't encounter any issues during our stay. The breakfast is quite sufficient and served buffet-style. The coffee from the machine in the morning is excellent. The rooms are clean. The high-ceiling ambiance of the reception and breakfast area is wonderful. The rooms are cleaned almost every day. It's very close to tourist attractions, and there are shopping places like malls and shops nearby. Transportation is very convenient. There's a bus stop and a metro station right across from the hotel. Everything is 5-10 minutes away. If you prefer to walk, all tourist sites are within a 15-20 minute distance. If I come back, I would definitely stay here again.

Guest UserThe hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate. The water pressure was excellent, and the large bathtub made for a relaxing soak. However, there was no fridge or kettle in the room, though hot water was available on the first floor.

Chrishan516Hotel Review: A Cozy Stay in Budapest
I recently had the opportunity to stay at a hotel in Budapest, and my experience was quite pleasant.
Overall Ambiance:
This hotel offers a more home-like environment rather than the traditional professional hotel experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, which made it easy to unwind during my stay.
Location:
While the hotel may appear to be slightly distant from the city center, I found that accessing the main attractions was not an issue. With a variety of convenient transportation options, including trams and the metro, reaching the heart of Budapest was straightforward and manageable. It’s an ideal location for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while still being easily connected.
Service:
The receptionist staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I appreciated their attentiveness; they would knock multiple times before entering the room, ensuring guest comfort and privacy. Additionally, the option to store my luggage at the hotel after check-out was a significant advantage, allowing me to explore the city without the burden of my bags.
Room Comfort and Amenities:
My room was spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was decent, providing a good night’s sleep. Despite my short one-night stay, I found the accommodations to be more than satisfactory.
Dining:
The breakfast section offered a variety of options, making it a pleasant way to start the day. I found the selection to be adequate and enjoyable, contributing to a positive overall experience.
Conclusion:
In summary, if you’re seeking a quiet retreat away from the city’s hectic pace, this hotel in Budapest is a commendable choice. With its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and accessible location, it provides a comfortable base for both short and extended stays. My experience was quite satisfactory, and I would recommend it to others looking for a relaxed stay in Budapest.

The room was quiet, but in the evening there was some rattling and footsteps from the room upstairs, which was disturbing. The breakfast was good, but I have experienced better ones, there could have been more fresh salads. We stayed 4 nights, before the last night the room was not cleaned, even though we left a note on the door at 11 am: it can be cleaned. The cleaning trolleys were still in the hallway by our room. Our friends' room was cleaned every day. So the service was variable. The air conditioning worked well, once you learned how to unlock it. The beds were good. If you choose twinbeds, they are just moved apart and the passage to the glass-walled shower and washbasin is very cramped. You had to move the beds together if you wanted to walk without falling. Our friends' room was different, the space next to the beds was wider. A separate toilet is a good idea, but there should have been a small hand basin, especially if the toilet is in the hallway and the basin is on the other side of the room. The floor of each room is slightly different. Typical 3 star hotel.

Guest UserBehind an unassuming entrance lies an excellent hotel for its rating (3 stars). The room is modern and very clean. Great location. The breakfast guarantees a good start to the day. Only the strange combination of a sliding glass door and a shower curtain should be revised.

When I arrived at the hotel before 7 o'clock, I was nervous because the entrance door was closed, but when I looked around the intercom, there was a call code on it, so I just had to press it. I went inside just as the other guests were coming out. All the staff were kind and greeted me with a smile, making me feel at ease. A bottle of wine was included in the room and it was delicious!

RomstarFun from the very start. You gò to reception on floor 1/2 in a moaning old lift. Lovely staff, very helpful and accommodating. You couldn't get any closer to St. Stephens cathedral!! The room we stayed in was a studio on the 4th floor, but facing away from the views. No problem, as it's right outside the front door!! Close to many wonderful sights, metro, trams, and bus stops. Some of the kitchen items could do with an upgrade. Unsure if off season travel and prices effected the cleaning service? But we saw leftover moments from previous guests all over the room. And we couldn't make the tv work, but who needs tv when in Budapest??! But for short-term term visit, great central location!! 👍
