The hotel is gorgeous!! Breakfast spread was alright; nothing too special but the architecture of the space was very lovely. The live classical music was an added bonus. We had issues with the shower and after two attempts to fix it, we were moved to another room. We appreciated the gesture. The weather was extremely hot and it was very unpleasant to be out but we were able to walk down to the port in 20 mins, so the location was great. We tried to get in a spa treatment but it was fully booked, we should've pre-booked before arriving! All in all, a lovely few days.

Great central location and friendly staff, however, the hotel or surrounding buildings were undergoing some renovation and there was an incessant low humming every night that made it quite difficult to sleep. Breakfast buffet was standard, there were limited choices of pastries and yogurts.

Convenient hotel, very reasonable price, not far from the main station of Line 2 subway station, it should be within five minutes on foot, there is a prima supermarket behind, convenient for replenishment. There are no food stores nearby. But if you are willing to take a subway stop, there is also a bustling commercial district. It is about ten to fifteen minutes' walk from Fisherman's Bastion, which is also acceptable. Recommended for consideration The picture shows the whole view of the hotel taken from the room window and in the distance.

It's very clean and new. This is one of the best hotels I've encountered in Europe in the past few years. The facilities are all kinds of small things including bathrobes and slippers. Most hotels in Europe will not have this. The highlight is that the breakfast is very rich 👍 The location is super city center. It is also convenient to go to the Danube River. It is a few minutes walk from the Congress. There is a row of restaurants at the door. The layout is very modern. The guy at the front desk was super nice.

Hotel well connected by public transport and not far from pubs, restaurants and minimarkets. Small but nice and comfortable room, bathroom a bit to be revised. Very kind staff, especially Patrick and also the brunette girl at the reception whose name I don't remember. In general all the staff was very friendly and professional. Good breakfast, only flaw the hot drinks are not prepared at the moment, but there is a do-it-yourself machine. Satisfied with this structure, I recommend it.

This hotel is highly recommended. The price is very suitable and the transportation is very convenient. There are cafes and restaurants within walking distance. It is convenient to go everywhere. It is much better than that New York Cafe Hotel! There are many restaurants nearby. You can order without breakfast. It is also a good choice to go to a nearby cafe for breakfast.

Check in was smooth and friendly. Room 310 was fine on appearance. But later we discovered a problem with the air conditioning reverting back to a temperature of 26. We contacted the front desk staff who came to the room. He said it appeared to be working properly so there was nothing to be done. Shower didn’t have an enclosed door, so parts of the bathroom were flooded. Breakfast had a variety of options. We particularly liked the fresh juice station. There was also a nice backyard-like part of the restaurant that was peaceful to have breakfast in. We had a repairman look at the air conditioning, but he claimed the problem was that we didn’t know how to work the key holder electricity slot, like this was rocket science technology never-before-seen in an hotel. A chance encounter with the hotel manager eventually led to us changing rooms. Room 112 was much better, smelled fresh and air conditioning worked properly. We paid almost 1500 rmb a night (and no complimentary water in the room) because of Coldplay concerts so value wasn’t great for what we received. Wouldn’t stay again despite liking the local neighborhood vibe to the hotel.

I’m so amazed by the quality I get for such a low price. The staff replied quickly to my questions. However, you need to check in again using their own portal and then you need to reserve a credit card for them in case of damages. There’s air conditioning in the room so it’s perfect. Even there’s a washing machine with a washing pod ready for you.

GGuest UserVery friendly and helpful staff. They offered us a complimentary upgrade. Great facilities at the hotel, including billiard and gym room for free. The room was spacious, the bathroom was gigantic. The toiletries they offered are from penhaligons. The breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of choices. A very exceptional experience. Will definitely come back.

GGuest UserWhen I arrived at the hotel before 7 o'clock, I was nervous because the entrance door was closed, but when I looked around the intercom, there was a call code on it, so I just had to press it. I went inside just as the other guests were coming out. All the staff were kind and greeted me with a smile, making me feel at ease. A bottle of wine was included in the room and it was delicious!

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit far from the airport, but very close to the Fisherman's Bastion and the third and fourth bridges. The old gentleman at the front desk was very professional and provided very detailed information. When I left, I took a taxi to the airport bus station, which cost less than 6 euros. It's still a very good hotel.

AAtharvaThe day I checked in on 18.1.25, write after 5 mins I came down to reception to complaint about toilet not draining and completely clogged with toilet rolls. Receptionist told me to wait for 1-2 hours and it will go, which didn’t happen till night. When I came to reception again the same night, other receptionist told me he will send someone from engineering on 19th to clean, no one came on 19th. When I went to reception on 19th morning, she told me no maintenance in house and it can only be fixed on Monday 20th. Lack of miss communication between team members can be seen here. They offered me to room moves but I denied because I already had my stuff unpacked in locker.  First 2 nights, I had to come downstairs to use toilet even at midnight. I was only offered a breakfast voucher for one day where in for a person who is vegetarian has near to 0 options except fruits, bread, yogurt, porridge.  I was in room 128. I’m looking for some kind of compensation and would like manager to reach out to me at the earliest.  Shah

AAbbeyLocated centrally within a short walk to a number of good bars, restaurants and cafes however it can get noisy until the early hours of the morning. The apartment was compact but big enough for 2 people however the bed was a very small queen. There was only 1 coffee capsule for 2 people staying and although there were lots of electrical sockets, they were all for European plugs and not one had a USB connection which would be far more useful for most travellers. The bathroom mirror was laughable - I’m 5ft 2” and could just see the top of my head in it! Instructions to gain entry were emailed on check-in day, which also included downloading an app. This would’ve been useful to know prior to travelling.

GGuest UserReading the reviews, overall I was expecting worse. The room was a little dated but clean, the bathroom ditto. Clean sheets and towels. On the other hand, the pillows offered are really uncomfortable, the mini bar is not working and the breakfast is very poor and without a sweet proposal: I went on for three days on bread, butter and jam. The staff were friendly enough and the location was excellent for getting to the center by public transport.

RRoxyThe park plaza was a last minute choice for us as we had originally booked into an extremely horrifying Airbnb but we were so lucky to book their last room! It’s in such a prime location with a beautiful view of the parliament building and tram / metro stops within a 5 min walk. The staff were really accommodating and informative and always smiling which is so lovely to see in the morning. The only issue we experienced was the malfunctioning AC but they tried their best to resolve it and even offered a room change and complimentary drinks to show their care. Overall, it was a great stay and I will definitely look to them next time k go to Budapest. Thank you!

WWarlie Zambales DiazHotel President Budapest exceeded all my expectations! The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was impeccable, making for a truly comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast selection was outstanding, offering a wide variety of options that catered to all tastes, and everything I tried was delicious and fresh. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional—they were incredibly warm, accommodating, and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. The hotel’s location is another highlight. It is within walking distance of major landmarks like The Parliament and St. Stephen’s Basilica, making it a perfect base for exploring Budapest. There are also many great restaurants and other tourist spots nearby, making it easy to enjoy the city without the hassle of long commutes. I highly recommend this hotel for its quality and convenience!
