Despite only staying for a day, I was very satisfied. The room was clean and the food was delicious. My only minor suggestion would be for the restaurant to offer butter for the bread instead of margarine. Also, the room's fragrance was a bit too strong, almost overwhelming! (haha). Other than these points, everything was great.
The family room type facilities are great, and the location is comfortable and safe. For the superior room type, the wall clock was dead, and the bathroom drain was a bit slow, causing water to pool. Overall, it's pretty good, excellent.
Here I expalin my experience during my saty at Santika Hotel Padang, I asking for Tissue Toilet by Phoen to receiption and say will send to my Room, after 30 minute tissue not arrived then I call again saya will be send this tissue also Not arrived there is only Talk but Nothing, thanks.
Everything is just nice. Breakfast is so delicious! Iâm from Malaysia, but I can skip some of my Minang/Padang food hunting because they also provide local dishes, which are really tasty. The location is very close to Jam Gadangâwithin walking distance. The staff are friendly too.
The only thing that made me feel a bit uncomfortable was this: I didnât hang the âI need room cleaningâ tag on my door because I was still in the room. A cleaning staff member knocked and said âroom cleaning,â but I didnât respond since I was still inside and hadnât requested cleaning. Then, the staff used a key card to open the door. I felt a bit violated, though it wasnât a big issue for me as I was alone and fully dressed.
However, it would be better if staff didnât enter unless thereâs a clear request for cleaningâjust in case someone is inside and not properly dressed.
The front desk is very friendly. The rooms are spacious. Breakfast is a basic selection with a local choice of foods. Locations near padang town. Walkable within the local spot
You'll be on the beach with a stay at Ombak Biru Resort in Sipura Island.
The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 3 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include safes and a turndown service.
I loved the beautiful view from the swimming pool overlooking Mount Merapi and Mount Singgalang â truly a unique experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Itâs a great place to unwind and enjoy nature.
Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy during my stay, so I couldnât enjoy the mountain view as clearly as I had hoped. Still, the overall experience was relaxing and worth it.
Great and attentive service by the staff all round from the Reception, to the Dining and Housekeeping.
And the location of the hotel is a plus point - so central to everything.
Great

KK LisThe older building is in decent shape, with a good location and cleanliness.
However, the staff communication is lacking. They're quite stiff and unfriendly, giving off an indifferent vibe.
You might want to consider other hotel options.
GGuest UserNice service.. For I forgot that have to catch up early morning flight, but already booked breakfast for 2 pax.. Cannot return the money for the second day breakfast, only can take away the breakfast.. So we request for the breakfast, they served it with fruits, buns and rice and vegetables plus chicken (actually we request for it).. Thank you so much for fulfilled my request.. Going to stay again at rocky for next visit to padang.. Beside there also got supermarket, nice!

EerzammIt is the best hotel nearest to every POI in bukittinggi. The hotel's Saka Cafe level 4 provides great ambience and view overlooking scenic town view and panoramic view of the mountain and valley. The superior family room we were staying in is spacious and comfortable most suitable for 3 people. The breakfast was decent serving traditional delicacy. Toast and cereal for kids are available. The seating is limited but there was no queue problem. The exception is the only lift operational is slow serving 6 levels. However, we got around this by using stairs which are quite steep and hard on my poor knees. So, if you are visiting together with elderly with walking difficulty perhaps it would be best to stay in the rooms nearest to the ramp nearby the reception.
MM_FaizalGood location and helpful concierge staffs. Unfortunately the hotel doesnât attentive enough to facilitate our request of double bed for all 4 rooms booked about a month prior to our arrival. 3 out of 4 rooms were without hot shower which annoyed us a lot. The room I stayed (#552) shares the same balcony with the next room and surprisingly the balcony door canât be locked. Very loud music from the rooftop bar was also very annoying. Breakfast was not impressive and staff not attentive enough to replenish drinking glass for the fruit juices. Will choose other hotel whenever I visit Padang on the future.
