The hotel has a convenient location near the train station, making travel easy. Food options are plentiful in the area. However, the Onsen is quite small, and since the hotel is next to a main road, noise can be an issue at times. The rooms are on the smaller side, but overall, the cleanliness and service are satisfactory.

The place is located quite near to the Kanazawa station. However it is not sheltered all the way. The lobby is at the highest floor. If you are taking JR from other places or the bus from takayama, it is quite a value for money place to stay for a night.

I wasn't familiar with the Mitsui Garden chain, but this was a fantastic introduction. The hotel is located three bus stops away from the train station, so easy to get to. The design is clean, understated, and typical Japanese. The public bath on the top floor and laundry facilities are welcome amenities while travelling and sightseeing, and the ability to leave your luggage after check-out is a nice option.. But the most impressive feature of the hotel is the breakfast buffet and the option to use the breakfast coupons at two nearby restaurants. There are so many options at the breakfast buffet, both Western and Japanese, with many local options, and all wonderfully prepared. We wanted to try everything, but our limited stomach capacity stopped us. If in Kanazawa, this is the place to stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and smelled fresh, creating a relaxing atmosphere from the moment I entered. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The staff were confident and professional, making the check-in and any inquiries smooth and easy. The location was also very convenient, with key attractions and public transportation just a short walk away. Highly recommended for a hassle-free stay!

New fantastic hotel! It's a hotel but has a very nice muji-esque feel. It's very clean and has a nice public bath area. Check in was easy especially with the help of the staff who are proficient in English. Also, there was a welcome snack that went very well with the nice tea provided in the room. Breakfast was excellent. Based on reviews, I thought it would be the same for two days (which I had problem with) but both days had different breakfast and they were scrumptious. If I'm in Kanazawa again, I won't hesitate to rebook.

This was our second stay in a My Stay hotel in Japan and we were not disappointed. Right in the centre of Kanazawa with many bus stops nearby. The staff speaks English and explained everything clearly. Our room was basic but had all the amenities we needed: fridge, kettle, heating, hot water, towels and many toiletries. The only downside is that some rooms like ours face the street which is a bit noisy at night. Highly recommended.

Only hotel in Japan that offers us free flow alcoholic drinks for 6 hrs daily. Located conveniently where we did not need to drive to get to places. Only minus point is it did not have a coin operated laundry service and the nearest one is 5 to 8 mins walk away

Nice and cozy hotel in the heart of Kanazawa! It’s located near the market and some eateries. You’ll get to have noodles for supper, relax in a good bath in the open air and cool down with ice cream when you are back in the hotel.

The hotel is way too amazing. There are various amenities for free, like coffee machines on the 1st floor, and welcome drinks for free on the 2nd floor. Also, the bathroom is a lot more surprising with a large bath tub and a multifunctional spray. I would def choose this hotel again if visiting Kanazawa in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Nikko Kanazawa! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our visit truly exceptional. Every detail in the room was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a home away from home. One of the best features of the hotel is its prime location, right next to Kanazawa Station. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city, accessing transportation, and enjoying nearby shops and restaurants. This hotel has easily become one of our all-time favorites, and we can’t wait to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kanazawa!
