The staff here are very kind and friendly, always stopping to make conversation and check in with you to see how your stay is going. I also enjoyed the music played in all of the restaurants/venues around the island. This was really nice. The food at the restaurants was good, I particularly enjoyed the chicken udon noodle salad from the HRC. The breakfast provided was varied and quite delicious too. There were a couple of minor issues during my stay, the first was that there isn’t really a good place to leave swimsuits to dry apart from the balcony railing. A few resorts I’ve stayed at before have provided drying racks which could be a good solution for this issue. Another issue is that the app didn’t allow me to book restaurant reservations until the 3rd day into my stay, again not the biggest issue, but it was a little annoying. The final issue was my room was very close to the pool where music is played until late into the evening. Not the biggest issue, but it would have been nice to be further away so my room would have been quieter in the evenings. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and I would recommend it to others.

A. Family trip, two villas. One sunset deluxe beach pool villa, and one sunset beach pool villa. 1. The deluxe villa is very luxurious and new, with air conditioning in the bathroom, but it's far from the restaurant and relatively further from the beach compared to non-deluxe rooms. 2. The regular villa is next to the restaurant, very close to the main pool and the lobby. However, it's older than the deluxe villa and its bathroom doesn't have air conditioning. B. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé airport. C. We bought the full board package. The restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, which we really enjoyed. Juices and beverages are only available at breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can only order à la carte; soft drinks are $5, juices are $10, plus an additional 27% service charge and tax. Haha... D. The excursions are too expensive, it really hurt my wallet (see picture). It's better to book them on a local island. E. You can snorkel near the overwater bungalows and the jetty, but there aren't many marine creatures, and the water quality is just average. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. Next time, I definitely need to visit a local island, it's so much more economical... PS. It's best to download WhatsApp in advance. Our butler didn't really use WeChat and was often unreachable...

Location: Just a 7-minute speedboat ride from Malé Airport, this resort is perfect for families with young children or seniors visiting an island for the first time, eliminating any worries about seasickness or airsickness. Facilities and Service: As a new hotel opening at the end of 2025, the facilities and service are top-notch. They won't treat you differently for only staying two nights or having limited English. The staff is super enthusiastic and will proactively use translation software to communicate. There are also Chinese-speaking staff on the island, so there's absolutely no need to worry if your English isn't perfect. Dining: We opted for the all-inclusive package, and the food at all the restaurants was absolutely fine. The mini-bar was replenished promptly, and the room could be cleaned multiple times a day, with mini-bar items restocked each time. Additional Services: They offer complimentary rentals of snorkeling masks, fins, paddleboards, and kayaks. There are also clubs for children and teenagers, making it completely worry-free for those traveling with kids. They even provide a free photo service, allowing you to choose one photo to print and take home. Snorkeling: The snorkeling is perfectly adequate for beginners. Summary: This was my first overseas trip with my two children, aged 10 and 12, and their first island experience, and it was absolutely wonderful throughout. It's very friendly for families with older children, and I highly recommend Dusit D2 to any families in a similar situation.

As a resort offering great value for money, we were all very satisfied. At the airport, look for your contact person at counters A17-18 to arrange your speedboat transfer. Firstly, this island is connected to the Hard Rock Hotel and Marina Hotel, which means you get to experience three islands in one. You can move freely between them, and there are 11 restaurants in total. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe chain restaurant one evening, and dinner for four cost us $200. We stayed for 3 nights, rotating between a Sky Room, an Overwater Villa, and a Beach Villa, one night each. The difference between the Sky Room and the Beach Villa is that the Sky Room is on the second floor with better views, while the Beach Villa is on the ground floor with direct access to the beach from the balcony. Each has its pros and cons. The Overwater Villas have room numbers starting with 1, and you can directly access the sea for snorkeling. The hotel has an app called 'SAii'. You can use it by scanning the QR code on your room TV upon check-in. It's available in Chinese. You can use it to request transfer buggies and sign up for many free activities. I initially thought we'd just relax for three days, but it turned into a bit of an 'intensive' trip with so much to do! Diamond members have a happy hour from 5-6 PM, offering three types of snacks/canapés and unlimited complimentary drinks and alcoholic beverages. We ate instant noodles on the first and third nights, and at Hard Rock on the second night. With happy hour snacks and drinks, plus breakfast, we had plenty to eat. The hotel breakfast was quite good, though it was always a bit windy due to the sea breeze. The speedboat transfer to and from the island takes 15 minutes, but it's very hot and stuffy inside. Our group of four tipped the butler $20 in total. For the overwater villa, they allowed us to check in at 11 AM, and we moved to a different room at 2 PM the next day. We tipped $2 each time for luggage transfers. As we moved rooms daily, we didn't tip for daily housekeeping. The hotel offers complimentary rental of snorkels, masks, and fins. We even saw a sea turtle up close during one of the free activities. Diamond members can also rent paddle boats and yellow kayaks for free for one hour daily. Bicycle rental on the island costs $10 for 24 hours. In the evenings, you can find many small crabs 🦀 and hermit crabs 🐚 on the beach. Recommendations: Bring instant noodles and snacks to the island, and a swimming float from home if you want to just relax in the water. The island accepts USD, or you can use Alipay/WeChat Pay.

Close to the pier, the rooms are clean and spacious, and there's a pool with a beautiful high-angle view of the ocean. The fly problem in the restaurant, mentioned in previous reviews, has significantly improved; I noticed the hotel placed fly traps. However, the Wi-Fi in the room still occasionally disconnects, and I hope this can also be improved.

What a generous host you are ! Warm and excellent service by all the staffs . Beautiful island. Thank you for the romantic dinner by the beach. Nice watching sunset with dolphins. Nice food . Definitely will come back . Love so much !!

Our vacation at Grand Park has come to an end, and I'd love to share my thoughts 🌴. First off, this was our first time in the Maldives, and we were absolutely thrilled. We stayed in two types of villas: lagoon and ocean water. They are completely identical and face each other. The lagoon villa has a huge advantage: it's practically wind-free. All the ocean breeze is absorbed by the ocean villas. The lagoon side offers sunset views, while the ocean villa offers sunrise views. The ocean villas definitely have a better view; from the lagoon, you can see several islands, including the neighboring Hilton. The rooms are very clean and were serviced twice a day. Linens were changed upon request, towels were fresh, and all necessities were provided: slippers, a beach bag, and umbrellas. Upon arrival, we immediately picked up masks, snorkels, and fins for the entire duration of our stay (these are complimentary). By the way, the watersports equipment rental manager speaks Russian and was very helpful and friendly. We brought water shoes with us but never used them. We always snorkeled with fins, and when we just swam from the villa, we couldn't even reach the bottom. They might be useful if you enjoy beach holidays and swimming from the shore, as the ocean entry there is indeed full of corals and shells, but we're just not fans of sand and didn't even go there. The reef is excellent; not quite the Philippines, of course, but there was still plenty to see. On the very first day, we spotted an eagle ray swimming right next to us – this was on the reef near the watersports rental, which I highly recommend for snorkeling as it's far less crowded than the reef near the villas. We wanted to go on an excursion to see nurse sharks, but a 'white flag' (meaning strong winds) was declared for all the days of our stay, so all excursions and even jet skis were canceled. We were very happy with the food. Breakfasts were quite varied, only lacking in meat (cold cuts or sausages; only pork options were available). We mostly had lunch in our villa, and it was delivered quickly. Dinner was also diverse; you definitely won't go hungry. All the staff were incredibly friendly, very open and responsive. Everyone smiled and greeted us, and the main phrase of our trip to the Maldives was “enjoy,” which we heard constantly 🥰 and we certainly did! The only excursion we managed to do was swimming on the floating platform, which we highly recommend. We took the package for $129, which included 4 cocktails + 3 snacks. We expected something like canapés, but they brought out full-sized dishes! It even ended up being cheaper than our usual dinner 😂. We ate our fill and enjoyed a beautiful sunset, and the photos there are amazing! You can stay there as long as you like, there’s no time limit. We recommend going at sunset around 4:30 PM or even 5:00 PM when the sun has already set to avoid the heat. The hotel is stunning, with very well-maintained grounds. The beach was constantly being cleaned, things were being trimmed, transported, and repaired – they were busy working all day long! There are many lizards on the property, and the Maldivian heron was also frequently seen)) The vacation was 10/10, the hotel was 10/10 – simply a perfect paradise! 🩵🌴 We left feeling incredibly grateful ✨

Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. Sheraton Maldives Full Moon is an excellent resort with a beautiful island setting and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally friendly, professional, and always helpful, which really makes the stay memorable and comfortable from start to finish. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The entertainment offerings are quite limited and would benefit from enhancement. The kids’ playground should be upgraded as soon as possible, with more engaging and modern facilities. In addition, more activities for adults—especially in the evenings—would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. For water activities, it would be great to see more attractive and value-for-money packages offered, as this would encourage guests to participate more and enjoy the marine experiences the Maldives is famous for. Overall, it is a wonderful resort with outstanding service, and with improvements in entertainment, kids’ facilities, adult activities, and water sports packages, it could easily be one of the best family-friendly resorts in the Maldives.
