The room is decent and clean. The only downside is a little bit far away from Sendai Station, which is still a 5-minute walk. However, the path from the station toward the hotel is a little bit complicated compared with other hotels in the same area. But still, a great hotel to stay in.
Great location! Few minutes walk from Sendai station and surround with lots of shops, restaurants and department store. There are 7-eleven and Starbucks at the first floor. The room is very nice. Everything is new, clean, with good space for two 28โ luggage to open at the same time and we still can walk around the room. The staffs were so nice and provided prompt support. We found problem about the hair dryer at midnight and the staff changed a new one to us immediately.
There are free amenities that you could pick at lobby.
Highly recommend and would definitely choose this hotel if we have a chance to visit Sendai again ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
Honestly everything from start to finish was great about this hotel. Employees spoke english, rooms were spacious, nice and modern. Location was in sendai station with malls, food and sightseeing everywhere.ย
Sendai is also the home of gyutan. Try it, honestly.
If I had something to complain about it would be that one of the 3 elevators only go to the 3rd floor and not 1st.
Convenient location where JR station, subway stations are within walking distance. Very good breakfast with lots of local delicacies. I like the public bath too despite room a bit small but the layout is good that u have enough space to open your luggage. Free coffee at lobby.
Very good location only few minute walk to Sendai station and Tsusujigaoka garden, which has very beautiful Sakura blossom. I love the Onsen. It is very clean and well equip.
The hotel is a bit of a walk from Sendai Station, perhaps a little further than popular chains like Daiwa Roynet or Comfort Hotel. On the upside, it's quite close to the Sendai Morning Market and Mont-bell. If you have large luggage and are only staying for a one-night transit, I personally found the walk a bit inconvenient.
The front desk staff spoke excellent English, and the hotel provided a full range of amenities. The facilities were in good condition and felt quite new. The lobby offered various useful leaflets for exploring Sendai, and there was also a mobile app available (I didn't use it, but those interested can scan it).
I recently stayed at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Sendai and had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Sendai Station, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The surrounding area offers easy access to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions.
The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with all the essentials, including a comfortable bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and a compact but functional bathroom. The space was efficiently designed to maximize comfort despite its size.
The staff were friendly and professional, providing smooth check-in and helpful assistance throughout the stay. The hotel also offers amenities such as a self-service check-in kiosk, coin laundry, and free coffee in the lounge, which added convenience.
Overall, Sotetsu Fresa Inn Sendai provides excellent value for money, offering a clean, safe, and convenient stay in the heart of Sendai. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
The location is within a few minutes walking distance from the Sendai Airport Line.
There are many department stores and restaurants nearby. It is very convenient for eating, shopping and playing.
It is around 5 minutes walking distance from Sendai Morning Market.
Perfect privacy for a solo traveller. The room was small but large enough to still fit a desk, a comfortable bed and leave room to open your bag. The bathroom was even smaller but perfectly functional. The decor is a little tired with some staining on the carpet and lampshades but I didnโt book the room for the aesthetic, rather the value for money. The only let down was the laundry as it didnโt remove any of the light staining in my clothes that Iโve had no issue with before and even after 1hr20 in the dryer my clothes were still damp so I had to hang them to dry around the room overnight.
A stroke of bad luck left us stranded in Sendai when the JR East Shinkansen network was suspended. As the night wore on with no trains in sight, we grew anxious. By 11:30 p.m., we decided to book a hotel for the night. Thankfully, the hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise โ newly and tastefully renovated, cosy, and functional. The highlight was the lounge, which offered complimentary beverages and a play area for kids โ an unexpected but welcome touch. Like most hotels in Japan, it provided complimentary toiletries, but this one went a step further with facial masks and bath salts โ a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more relaxing.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near the station, with a large shopping mall nearby. There is an onsen and a restaurant in the hotel itself, but the breakfast cost more than stated in the description.
The rooms are equipped with a shower, TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, and dehumidifier, and the beds are quite comfortable. Pajamas are provided, and other amenities can be picked up at the reception if needed
GGuest UserConveniently located not far from Sendai Station, right beside the Westin. While the room was a bit small, it was very well-designed and functional. Having two convenience stores right next door was incredibly convenient. It's also a short walk to the morning market. The price was reasonable, offering good value for money. I'd definitely stay here again.
PPandaolimingThe hotel is in a great location, with a shopping street just outside. Go left and walk straight along the shopping street to Tohoku University, which has a beautiful environment. The shadow of Mr. Lu Xun is everywhere, with a statue of Lu Xun and a lecture hall, as well as rich historical materials. The room is compactly arranged, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and has a smart toilet. There is even a clothes dryer in the room. It is not far from Sendai Station and can be reached by foot. Sendai Castle is nearby.
GGuest UserI am so glad I chose Komatsu-kan during my stay in Matsushima. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. When I told him I am a vegetarian, he kindly informed the kitchen to exclude animal flesh and seafood from my meal. (Usually, hotels ignored my food request, or they just gave me tofu and pickles for my meal.) The next morning, I was so surprised to see my breakfast. I loved the fresh salad, steamed vegetables, over-easy eggs, chawan-mushi, and the pickles even tasted better than before.
Then the room surprised me with the pine tree and the beautiful sea view. The next morning I woke up at 4:45 to see the sunrise. Just from my room, I could see the sun slowly rising from the other side of the sea. Stunning! I really enjoyed the little Me time here.
Actually, this hotel is well-maintained, and that helps raise the value of it. I also love the fresh little flowers right next to the washing basin. And the people working here are quite ya-sa-shi. They are kind and gentle. Generally speaking, this is a nice place worth staying and relaxing in.

WWaranyaWe love the location of this hotel, close to all shoppings, foods and Train Station. Great amenities, nice onsen eventhough a bit old style. If we come back to Sendai, we will choose this hotel again. Thanks for the nice stay.

GGustavo TozzoIn complete contrast to my previous night at a different city, coming to this hotel was a total change.
Friendly desk staff, helpful and accommodating. Well informed and willing to help.
The room was small but enough for one night. The bed was really comfortable as well.
The hotel has a Hot Bad that accommodates 4~6 people at once.
Really wonderful being able to take a very hot bad at such large place.
and all at no extra charge.
Only thing bad I have to say about the place is there was this smell of โfreshโ paint all throughout.
Bothered me a bit, but it was easy to put up with.
I will be staying again in October and look forward to it.
Unfortunately I took no photos. Will do so next time.
