Hotel Metropolitan Sendai

Great location. Just in the same building complex of Sendai JR station. Room is rather small but not too crowded. Bath room is big enough.

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the train station and very convenient for getting around. Overall, everything was good during my stay. The only downside is that the room looks a bit old and the bed is quite firm. If I have a chance to visit Sendai again, I would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay with Metropolitan Sendai. The hotel is a bit dated, but was kept clean. The location was perfect as it was directly connected to the station building. However, it was difficult to locate the hotel without going outside the station first. Follow the West Exit and as soon as you get outside, make a left and you will see the hotel. Also do not confuse with another hotel without almost the same name and belong to the same JR East Group.  The other one is called Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East and is on the east side of the station building.   For breakfast, you got to choose between two restaurants, both located at the 2nd floor of the hotel. One offers a buffet style and the other offers a japanese style breakfast.  We chose the buffet style and it was excellent. It provided a good varieties of japanese and western dishes.  They also had an omelette station for made to order omelette and egg Benny.  I will definitely stay in this hotel again if I come again.

The hotel was just beside the west exit of Sendai station. Link to the mall. Very convenient location. The room size is good. Cleanliness is 👍. Check in and check out process was very smooth. Overall, very satisfied.

Nice view, convenient, clean room, good breakfast, location right at Sendai station. Close to shopping area. Will come back again if planning to Sendai.

The location is great although at first we went to the wrong side (at the East) as the hotel is actually located at the West. I was able to reach Sendai Jr Station within 10 minutes to catch the 1st train of Shinkansen to Akita. Not to mention the great breakfast, which features Sendai’s locally famous foods complete with explanatory notes. I also like the complete in-room amenities, which even include bath salts for the tub.

This was the best hotel out of the 4 I stayed at during my trip across Japan, from south to north. The location is excellent - just a short walk from the station, and the room was noticeably more spacious than the other hotels I stayed in. Highly recommended!
