It's a bit far from the city center, and there aren't many dining options nearby. It's roughly on par with domestic hotels like Atour or Ji Hotel, so don't set your expectations too high. The breakfast has a decent selection, but it probably won't suit Chinese palates. For this area and standard, I guess it's acceptable.

The hotel is about 5 kilometers away from the Temple of the Tooth Relic. There are many restaurants and shopping malls downstairs of the hotel, which makes eating and accommodation convenient. On the morning of the second day of check-in, I started running from the hotel, circled along Kandy Lake and then returned to the hotel, which was exactly 10 kilometers.

The room looked clean and big, but it smelled very bad, and the air conditioner was very powerful! The buffet at our own expense was really great, and the price was not expensive. The food was better than in China!

The Kanchana Restaurant offers an extensive buffet with a variety of Sri Lankan and international dishes, all while providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently demonstrated attentiveness and professionalism, ensuring that every aspect of our visit was comfortable and memorable. Heritance Kandalama is more than just a hotel; it's an experience that celebrates the harmony between luxury and nature.

This hotel offers free rooms for drivers, which is very thoughtful – a big thumbs up! Surprisingly, there's a Chinese restaurant nearby; the food is delicious and inexpensive. The triple room is a bit small, but still manageable. There's a high-end hotel nearby where you can find something to eat.

The hotel was overbooked, so we were temporarily moved to another hotel. We returned to our original hotel the next morning, but neither hotel had hot water and the location was inconvenient, although the scenery was beautiful and the service was warm.

The scenery nearby is indeed beautiful, with a bit of a British flair. The facilities are a bit old, but they're reasonably well-maintained, within acceptable limits. The breakfast buffet is half Indian-themed. There's also another hotel and an Indian restaurant next door; personally, I can't get used to the taste, but the atmosphere and environment are nice.

房間新裝修的，很不錯。我們住在二樓，當時沒有其他預訂，我們享用整個二層的空間。二樓很大的客廳和很大的陽台。房子周圍的環境也很好。老闆看起來也很憨厚老實。入住的安全問題不用擔心。唯一缺點可能是，房間在山上村裡，不在鬧市區，但是可以用uber。

My stay at Mount Blue Kandy was a delight from start to finish. The panoramic views—of the lush hills, the Mahaweli River, and Kandy's valleys—are absolutely breathtaking, especially from the infinity pool and floor-to-ceiling windows in the room. The staff were consistently welcoming, attentive, and eager to please, making me feel genuinely valued. The room was spotless and well-appointed, and the breakfast was satisfying and varied. While the steep, narrow road up can be challenging and parking is limited, the sense of serenity and personalized service made it all worth it. Would happily stay again

The property is beautiful and well-maintained, boasting a fantastic location with stunning views of Sigiriya Rock directly from the pool. For anyone planning an early morning ascent of Sigiriya Rock, I highly recommend choosing this hotel. The walk back from Sigiriya Rock to the hotel was only about 15 minutes, which was incredibly convenient. We also made use of the on-site Ayurvedic spa; it was wonderfully relaxing and very reasonably priced. All the staff members were exceptionally kind and friendly, ensuring we had a truly comfortable and pleasant stay.
