The environment is very good and quiet, and I can sleep until dawn every day. The food provided by the hotel is very delicious, so you don't have to worry about what to eat. The guy at the front desk was also very enthusiastic.
The rooms were clean, surrounding areas also clean, desk service was good,
However I got food poisoning from the pies on the downstairs food counter. I mentioned it but no one seemed to be concerned.
First time in Zimbabwe, This is the hotel I stayed in and the stuff was so welcoming. They assisted me with everything I needed. The food was so good and affordable.
The service was extremely terrible and slow starting from the reception to the restaurant, the beverages took forever to come through, the main meal wasn’t all that great. Extremely Disappointing especially for the price and being the most expensive hotel in Harare.
The internal hardware of the hotel is a bit old, but it is very clean. The overall environment is very good and safe. The breakfast is also very rich. It is worth recommending.
I’m glad I was able to look at the room before officially booking here, as I made a mistake and booked at another hotel and the pictures were nothing like that actual thing. I had a nice kind size bed, refrigerator, complimentary water, cable tv with Netflix and HBO options. There was an outside pool I’m terribly upset I didn’t get to utilize. Because I hadn’t made other plans, I was able to extend my stay for an additional night with no problems. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I’m glad I stayed here; will stay here again my next visit to Zimbabwe.
The breakfast is very good, the location is excellent, the service attitude, the quality is high, the safety is quiet, and the lobby service is warm and thoughtful. The room cleaning is timely, clean and the bathroom is clean.
If you want to visit Harare, Millennium Garden Hotel would be a good accommodation choice. The nearest airport is Harare International Airport, which is approximately 18km away from the hotel. The large-scale integrated commercial circle is located just a few steps away, making shopping convenient. The hotel is located near several popular tourist attractions, including wildlife parks, lake attractions, national scenic spots, etc., allowing travelers to schedule their itinerary more efficiently.
The hotel pays great attention to the decoration of guest rooms, with each fully equipped room equipped with ironing facilities, in room safes, and air conditioning. Coffee makers and bottled water are available for use, and convenient room facilities will surely make you feel comfortable. Slippers and a hair dryer are provided in the bathroom, making you feel at home.
Passengers can visit the hotel's leisure area during their leisure time to enhance their health and happiness, and experience the natural atmosphere in the garden. Three meals are available, with a wide variety of dishes and uninterrupted water and electricity supply. There is also a 24-hour shuttle bus service and regular security company patrols!
Millennium Hotel, escorting your life and work, looking forward to your visit!
IIsaacBooked this guest house based on the reviews that I had read. It is a very basic guest house and in my view, will require some improvements to meet some minimum international standards.
The positive is that the WiFi worked very well and hence once on site could stay in touch with family and friends. Also the staff were very friendly and appearedto work with what they had at their disposal.
Areas of improvements:
1. Not sure if the guest house had master keys to the rooms. Our room was never cleaned for the period that we were there. Not sure if because we went out with the key or we had to request for the room to be clean.
2. We were not given towels and it was good we have carried some towels with us. It will be extremely good to provide towels and should be already present in the room when the guest arrives.
3. The bathroom had no mirror so when I needed to shave, I had to come back to the bedroom to use the mirror.
4. It appeared the whole guest house has only one kettle and hence if you needed what water, you needed to request for the kettle. Worst still the bedroom did not have the socket for the kettle's plug and hence had to go back to the reception to heat the water.
5. Although the guest house is advertised as having a kitchen, this was in an outhouse and you have to leave the main guest house to use the kitchen. Worst is that the kitchen was not ready when we arrived and it is not well kitted, and in my opinion should not be advertised as a guest house with a kitchen.
6. Finally, the guest house did not have a stanby generator and on one of the nights, the lights went off from @2am local timm till mid morning.

GGuest UserA wonderful hotel to stay. Friendly and efficient staff that made you feel so welcome. The accommodation was clean, the bed very comfortable and a lovely hot shower. Lovely view of the beautiful garden. Breakfast was an absolute treat. Thank you to all the staff for making me feel at home in Africa after being away for 3 years. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying over in Harare.
FForssThis hotel is one of the best option to stay in Harare. It’s new, modern and very clean. The size of the room is unexpectedly large. The service is perfect. Right next to the hotel there is a cafe where you can have a good breakfast and some bakery. I’d definitely recommend this place for international tourists!
TThe traveler01This is a nice place to be…the staff is ever so friendly…No issues with wifi and the place is surrounded by restaurants making it convenient to get something to eat… you can try it out…
