"We took the Airport Limousine directly to the hotel, which was a really nice perk to start our first visit to Tokyo.
The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in, and the self checkout was very convenient. We were there to celebrate our 44th anniversary, so we were given a room with a view of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The daily towel changes and complimentary bottled water were a nice treat. We didn't eat at the hotel, so I can not comment on the food.
The location is ideal, especially when we checked out and had to get to Shinjuku Station to take a train to Yokohama. We took one day street which was great with luggage in tow. We didn't have to drag our luggage through the crowds and uneven sidewalks.
The self-serve amenities are very convenient, and we love the sponge. Thank you for a wonderful first-time experience."

"The outside of the building is huge. There are so many amenities to choose from at reception. Definitely gives the impression its a 4* hotel. When I got into my room I could see rust and marks in the bathroom, the bed was hard and uncomfortable. I wasn't pleased that the WiFi kept cutting out constantly. Now I got the impression it was a 2-3* hotel. Room service was excellent until the last night when they forgot to leave a night dress. The location is excellent, very close to the station and surrounded by shops. There's an amazon locker close by which helps with my online shopping addiction lol. I forgot to take a picture of the hotel and the amazing view but I got one of the symbol in the front garden."

"It not my first time staying here and the stay experience still remain consistent and great for me.
First of all , hotel location is located very near to the Ikebukuro station. There are convenience stores such as Family mrt , lawson and 7-11 within less than 5 min walk
Room wise was definitely suitable for solo.person as the room size and space allowance was sufficient.

"A few minutes from Shinjuku Station East Exit, you can’t miss it from hundreds of metres away, it’s the building with Godzilla’s head sticking out 50 m above the ground. Lots of restaurants on the ground floor, convenience stores, and in the middle of Kabukicho, literally open 24 hours. Cafe and some Godzilla souvenirs on the 8th floor lobby level, where you can get close up and personal with the star attraction himself. The rooms are fine, nice sized bath, but you need to close the blind at night to shut out the light pollution."

"I cannot recommend Tokyo Dome Hotel enough. From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was flawless. "It completely deserves the reputation as the elegant 5-star Japanese hotel with a tradition of over a century. The Japanese detailed-minded and dedicated services provided by every member of the staff are impressive. They are always more than helpful.
My luggage was already handled by the bellboy before I got into the entrance. The staff member whose surname is 茨木 (Ibaragi?) accompanied me to the guestroom and made neat and helpful introduction to the facilities of the room as well as the hotel as a whole.
Room cleaning / tidying services were provided at least two times per day.
On the day my friend and I checked out, my friend inadvertently lost her phone at the washroom in the public area of the hotel, but with the dedicated assistance of the staff members, the phone has been found. We are more than grateful for their great help.
The hotel bar, the Old Imperial Bar, serves high quality cocktails and has a wide range of collection of good whiskies, which is a must-go if you have an opportunity to visit the hotel."

"This hotel is so clean and has comfortable beds. Free amenities at the lobby. It’s beside a mall. Very convenient. There is free shuttle bus to Tokyo station. I think they also go to Haneda airport. I’ll book my flight to Haneda airport next time. I also miss out on the spa. :( We can walk to small world exhibition cos nearby. Check in and out using self service machine. After check out, we put our luggage at the luggage storage at the lobby."

AAnonymous UserI arrived early morning hence was only able to leave my luggage at the reception. Check in was at 2pm and the hotel was nice to accept my request prior to booking for a room on the ladies floor for security reasons and I am also a solo traveller. Amenities like toothbrush, comb and tea packets are provided at the reception too. My only wish is that I hope in future the Hotel can provide at least an international or English movie channel for foreign guests.

CCancanOverall a good hotel for short stay.. Comes with all basic amenities like pyjamas, water machine, free drinks machine, breakfast, Onsen etc... The only downside is the size of the room.. Barely had space to maneuver or open luggage.. Not too far from Ikebukuro station but not exactly near either after you had a long day.. Around 10minutes walk depending on speed. Many eateries nearby.

DDariaLocation and the host were totally good. Of course, capsule hotel has some inconveniences (you don't have enough space to store your stuff and you can only give it to the host on the 1st floor and they put it into a baggage room, also there is no ventilation in the capsules and in some of them there was too hot so the hot allowed my friend to change capsule). But the worst experience here was because of our capsule neighbour on the 3rd floor (so I can't blame the hotel) - she was obviously out of her mind, went to the toilet every 5 minutes and spent huge amount of toilet paper, so in a couple of hours she used up all the toilet paper on our floor. The host came and replaced the new paper - but in 2 hours it was the same way...
