"We booked this room for my parents since they had an early flight out of Terminal 3 the next morning. The room's amenities, size, and service were all excellent. It's directly connected to Terminal 3, so they were there in just 5 minutes the next day. Plus, we could bring the luggage cart right into the room the day before and just roll it out in the morning. The hotel service was incredibly good and super fast. The mini-fridge was fully stocked with all sorts of complimentary drinks, teas, and alcohol, which was a really nice touch. The room was a good size, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view before a connecting flight. Right below the hotel, on the second floor, there's a mall with plenty of shops, and on the first floor, there are many restaurants. It's very convenient for both shopping and dining. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety, including sashimi, miso soup, and Western pastries. The only downside is the coffee, which isn't great. The hotel itself is very well-designed; though small, it makes excellent use of space. It's also connected to the onsen at the adjacent mall, which is lovely for a soak in the evening. Just outside the hotel, there's an all-you-can-eat Japanese hotpot that's really delicious. For Odaiba, it's super convenient for accessing the three malls and various attractions."

"As a Solo traveller on this part of my journey, it is a hotel with an excellent convenient location. Very Near Shinjuku and an underground passage way all the way connected to the main station. The area around it is government-related buildings, clean, safe, and nice. The breakfast is good with two choices of restaurant to choose from, one on the ground floor of the newer Annexe Building, service and food are better. For a great view and more variety of the breakfast feast, have breakfast at the main old building's top-level restaurant. Great view. As shown in the images. Overall, Staff Services is ok. Sor solo travelling room, room is a little small and the window view is also of the traditional older building, as shown in the images."

"This is a small, boutique hotel located diagonally across from Suidobashi West Exit. I booked a room with two beds pushed together; each bed was about 120-130 cm wide, making a total of around 250 cm, which was really comfortable. There's no luggage rack, just a small stool, so I had to put my luggage on that. The room was very dark, so I slept soundly until morning. Breakfast is a set menu you choose from. Check-out is at 2 PM, and breakfast is served from 7 AM to 11:30 AM. There aren't many tables, but because of the long service time, people are spread out, so it never feels crowded. The taste is comparable to a brunch costing about 70 RMB in China, so it's pretty good. I stayed for one night, then in the morning, I went to Tokyo Dome and Koishikawa Korakuen Garden next to it. It's also not far from the Imperial Palace. Located at the border of Chiyoda and Bunkyo wards, it's in a pretty central area."

"Can only recommend. The location was great and I was able to travel around Tokyo very easily. Ginza itself is great and right outside the hotel you have Konbinis, Don quijote, Coffeeshops and quite close a grocery store. I stayed 6 Nights and will return if I ever stay in Ginza again."

"The room was very clean, and the pillows were comfortable. The front desk service was also good. It's close to many subway stations, and the surrounding area is very pleasant. The subway noise didn't bother me at all; I slept really well. Highly recommended! The hotel provides disposable slippers, makeup remover, face cream, and razors, which is a great value for money. There's a nice izakaya nearby, though a bit pricey. The hotel breakfast includes bread, milk, rice, hot dishes, and salad, which is decent, but a bit repetitive if you're staying for several days."

"Short walking distance to Nishi-shinjuku train station and hilton hotel where you can take the limousine bus to Haneda Airport. It’s about 20-25 min walking distance to Shinjuku if you choose to walk. There’s a 24hr convenience store located at hotel basement but it’s small so variety is limited. But there are a few other convenience stores a stone’s throw away too. Love the free amenities at the hotel lobby. On rainy days, you can borrow umbrella from the reception. Washing machine available but need to pay and is always long queue. We could only fully open 1 large suitable."

"Tokyo Accommodation Recommendation | Mitsui Garden Hotel Toyosu I've stayed here three times this year, making this my fourth visit to Mitsui Garden Hotel Toyosu. Since it was a weekend during the National Day holiday, the room rates were quite high. A standard king-size room was over 2400 yen per night – truly Tokyo prices! The view, as always, was stunning. Although the room was small, it was very comfortable. Previously, you could pick up facial cleanser, makeup remover, and skincare products yourself. Now, a fixed set is provided in the room daily. Other toiletries can be collected at the elevator entrance in the lobby. This Mitsui Garden Hotel is incredibly popular! It wasn't this crowded on my previous visits. This time, the rooms were fully booked, and the lobby was often packed. I have to admit, its location is absolutely superb, making it incredibly convenient for everything from dining and shopping to transportation."

"I really liked this hotel. In all honesty, it’s a great area, very close to the station and overall the staff and the amenities are all I could ever need. The room was very small, I could manage because I was out a lot, but there was barely space to open my luggage so that I could organise my stuff. Think about this before choosing your room type. The window didn’t fully open (for security, I suppose) and there is no wardrobe, just a small opening in the wall at the very entrance to hang, max., 1 coat and two shirts perhaps. The worst thing about the room and the hotel might have been the breakfast, which is very, very simple, with surprisingly few continental options. Also it seems the moment the juice runs out the don’t refill it or it takes them a long time to fill it again. I didn’t see a toaster and the bread size is tiny. But, there are other more Japanese options you can have as well as basics that still work for western palates. Washing machine price (depends on the weight): from 300¥ to 600¥."

"The hotel's location is excellent. You can sit in the lobby and enjoy the night view of Tokyo Tower, and it's within walking distance of Ginza for shopping. Plus, there are two FamilyMarts and one 7-Eleven right downstairs, which is super convenient. However, the room was incredibly small. After putting down two suitcases (one large, one small), I couldn't even open the fridge door, and there was hardly any space to move around. The service was subpar. The charging socket by the bed broke at night and couldn't be fixed. They suggested we move to another room of the same type, but it felt like too much hassle, so we didn't. We didn't book a room with breakfast, but we walked in and ate. Later that night, we found a collection letter from the hotel at our door, as if we were going to skip out on the bill? Don't guests usually pay upon check-out? It's not like we didn't pay a deposit. How desperate for money do you have to be to send a collection letter? It was a terrible experience! On the other hand, there wasn't even an apology for the broken charging socket that couldn't be fixed promptly. The service was really bad!"

GGuest UserThe hotel stay is wonderful. The hotel is huge with an enormous lobby, looks sleek, and is classy with the dim light. The lobby is located at 20th floor, no comments on the bf as I only booked the room without bf. Check in and out are effortless. Staff is friendly and approachable. Amenities in room are plentiful and abundant. All shampoo, conditioner and bath lotion come in big bottles so it is more than sufficient for use. Inside bathroom, you can control the volume and listen to the TV you on outside so it is very useful. In room has the Alexa which you can easily communicate with it for anything of interest to you. Besides, the hotel is very conveniently located, near to Shinjuku station and the nearby shopping malls. The room is huge and comes with bathtub and it has a balcony area too. Highly recommended for staying here in Tokyo. You will not regret definitely!

Enjoyed my stay there - the access to cable apps, self-service washing machines (with locks so no one can get to your clothes), strong shower pressure, heated toilet bowl, close proximity to train station and plentiful malls… Perhaps the management would consider having a gym in its Shinjuku hotel. 😊

The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Akihabara Station, making it super convenient to get there with luggage in just a few minutes – perfect for first-time visitors to Tokyo. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so grabbing a bite or exploring in the evening is a breeze. While the room wasn't huge, it was well-designed, clean, and tidy, with enough space for my luggage. The soundproofing was also better than I expected, allowing me to sleep soundly. The front desk staff were very professional, and communication in English was no problem; both check-in and check-out went smoothly. Overall, it felt like a consistently reliable and comfortable hotel, one that you can count on not to disappoint. If your itinerary mainly involves exploring central Tokyo, especially areas like Akihabara, Shinjuku, and Ueno, this place is an excellent base. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

Ssulee17Dormy Inn Ueno-Okachimachi boasts an excellent location, being just the shortest walk from Ueno Station. On our way, we even spotted a Torikizoku sign, and we ended up dining there one evening. Of course, with so many restaurants right across from the hotel and in the surrounding area, my 'choice paralysis' definitely kicked in! The main reason we chose Dormy Inn was for its large public bath, complete with complimentary popsicles and Yakult after a relaxing soak. Breakfast was also fantastic; the fried shrimp in the morning was absolutely divine. The breakfast was so substantial that we stayed full throughout our two-day stay, meaning we even skipped their complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night ramen) in the evenings. The hotel only has one elevator, so there was a bit of a wait during peak hours. From our room, we had a view of the Tokyo Skytree. Despite being right next to the Shuto Expressway, there was absolutely no traffic noise, which speaks volumes about their excellent soundproofing.

ZZhongguangguangHonestly, aside from the price, this hotel has no flaws. It has its own natural hot spring, free to use after 3 PM as long as you follow the communal bathing rules. After a thorough rinse, you can enjoy a relaxing soak. From 5 PM onwards, there's even complimentary alcohol served on the first floor. Every day, you can choose free pajamas and pillows, with various softness and firmness options available. There's an ice machine on each floor, where you can also get iced water. Fresh and clean bath towels and other linens are provided daily. The service is incredibly attentive and meticulous. Every time you leave, someone at the front desk wishes you a safe journey. When checking out, someone at the door will open it, bow, and wish you a safe trip. Downstairs, there's a ramen shop open until 4 AM, so even if you miss dinner sometimes, you're in the central Ginza area, with countless restaurants open until the early hours just a few steps away. The K S Higashi-Ginza Station is right at the doorstep. Across the street is the Higashi-Ginza Line of the Hibiya Line, and just one more street over is the Ginza Station of the Ginza Line, making transportation extremely convenient.

YYuehaihongdieThe hotel is a convenient 6-7 minute walk from Ikebukuro Station's underground exit A20. However, coming from the airport bus stop, it took us about 15 minutes. Dining and shopping options are plentiful and convenient near the hotel; it's also very close to some specialty shops. There are many hotels of similar scale in the vicinity, most of them advertising their own hot spring baths (onsen). After comparing several options, this hotel stood out for its value for money, primarily because it offers triple rooms, which are quite rare in Japan. However, upon checking in, we felt that this type of triple room is really only suitable for families with children under 10. With my 15-year-old son, we were effectively three adults, and the room was so narrow that only one person could pass at a time. The window couldn't be opened, making it feel quite cramped and stuffy. The room layout was minimalist, but it came with plenty of power outlets and even a multi-head charging cable. Since there's a hot spring bath (onsen), most guests hardly used the in-room bathroom. Given the space constraints, walls in budget hotels are typically thin, leading to potential soundproofing issues. However, during our stay, everyone was very considerate, and we didn't notice any disruptive noise. Compared to other hotels, the onsen here has extended opening hours, so you can still enjoy a relaxing soak even if you return late. The bath uses carbonated water. While the pool isn't large, the water quality was impeccably clean. Many of the hotel's thoughtful details are truly commendable. For instance, women checking in receive a complimentary, exquisite beauty and skincare amenity kit daily, with two options to choose from. There's welcome juice at the front desk. Additionally, every day from approximately 4 PM to 8 PM, a complimentary self-service drink bar is available on the 2nd floor, which is wonderfully refreshing after a bath. Furthermore, each floor features a 'pillow bar' where guests can select their preferred pillow, put on a fresh pillowcase, and return it after use. The hotel policy strictly states that cleaning cannot be carried out while guests are present in the room. Moving on to breakfast: it's primarily Japanese style. While the variety isn't extensive, it's very comprehensive and sufficient to cater to most palates, with the small pastries/breads being particularly delicious. We had read previous reviews mentioning less-than-friendly front desk staff, but we personally didn't experience that at all during our entire stay. While they weren't overly enthusiastic, they were unfailingly polite and professional, always answering our questions thoroughly. In summary: this hotel truly stands out among similar budget-friendly establishments. A plaque in the lobby proudly displays its recognition as a 'Most Popular Hotel' for several consecutive years, a title it genuinely deserves. Aside from the triple room being excessively small and feeling rather cramped, all other details and facilities were excellent. For a stay of two people or fewer, who plan to be out exploring during the day and simply need a comfortable place to sleep at night, this hotel comes highly recommended.

GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at the 9h nine hours Akasaka. The pods were comfortable and clean and the location was very convenient. However, the common space for eating was really small. The locker space was very crammed. They also won’t store your luggage after you check out so if you’re planning to do something on between the check-out and your flight/train you need to take your luggage outside.

GGuest UserAll procedures are streamlined, making checking in and out run quickly and smoothly. We got the type of room we asked for without a problem. There is also an excellent locker system for storing luggage. Very good location for several attractions we were interested in, as well as close to international cruise terminal. Several restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

WWeiHooI have tried a few capsule hotels, this is by far the worst. My capsule was on the fifth floor, but the lockers are located on the fourth floor which is very inconvenient since the shower is on the eighth floor. There is a sitting area outside the capsule room which is an unsightly mess as shown in the pictures. The mattress is hard and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most is the door that supposed to shun off the noise from outside, made a loud noise when it closes. I wonder if they are not aware of it or no one complains to them. Imagine how many people comes in and out the entire night and the cranky noise disturbed my sleep. I hope the management will be made known of this default. I will never come back again.
