"So good I stayed twice on the same trip! Would definitely recommend to any solo traveller looking for cheap accommodation in Tokyo and wanting to meet other travellers. Dormitory beds are nothing special, but clean and functional, however if you get lucky you may get one with much more space. The shared lounge on the 4th floor is by far the best part of this place. Large “beach” area with projector and pool table and full shared kitchen and spacious seating will make you feel like you’re outside even though you’re not."

"This is my second stay at the APA Hotel. I always choose to stay here whenever there's an event in Makuhari. The rooms are clean, and its proximity to the event hall is incredibly convenient. I also enjoyed the nice ocean view. However, the downside is that when major events coincide, the accommodation fees can double, making it difficult to visit frequently."

"The building is grand, bedroom is spacious, bed is comfortable. Location is far from the station, needs 10-15 mins walk. Bathtub’s water pressure is not enough to fill the tub quickly. Breakfast was varied and tasty, but nothing stands out. Coffee machine inside the room is nice. We asked for a bit of late checkout and they couldn’t give it despite us asking twice, not even for + 30 mins, because apparently the hotel is “full”. We didn’t really see that many guests, and when we try to book online, there are more rooms available. That’s disappointing and doensn’t reflect the brand value of Hilton. I don’t even know if it’s legally 4 or 5 star hotel."
