When Anqing was liberated in April 1949, the party, government, and military organs in the Anqing area first settled in the Anhui Exhortation Field Municipal Building for office work, then known as the 'Anqing Special Administration Building'. 3. In 1950, the Anqing People's Cultural Palace moved into the Anhui Exhortation Field Municipal Building, which has since served as the Anqing Mass Art Museum and the Anqing Library. 4. The Exhortation Field experienced a major fire in 2008 and was repaired in 2014. 5. On January 25, 2017, the Preface and Postscript Anqing Exhortation Field store of the Anhui Xinhua Distribution Group was opened.
