Wat Rong Khun is a famous Buddhist temple. Located in Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai. Designed and constructed by Chalermchai Kositpipat, A national artist from 1997 to the present. He also expected that the construction of Wat Rong Khun would not be completed within his lifetime. Wat Rong Khun is a replica of Wat Ming Muang, Nan Province. Currently, Wat Rong Khun is considered one of the iconic symbols of Chiang Rai Province. #holidayvacation right there, it felt like a dream, it's so beautiful, that it looked like it exist in some fairy tale. the entry to the temple was free when we visited, but can't say it wasn't crowded. but the climate was very pleasant. there is also a museum with the artist's collections it's entry free, there’s so souvenirs shop and many picturesque areas and a wishing well too! so worth visiting. #scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#staycation#awesomepic

To go to the White Temple, you can either join a one-day tour in Chiang Mai or rent a car like me and drive there yourself. The whole journey is about 160 kilometers and takes about three hours. The scenery of the northern Thai countryside along the way is very beautiful. Due to its open style without walls blocking, White Temple does not require tickets to enter. You can take photos outside. The temple is indeed impressive, but not very large. It only takes 20-30 minutes to take photos. It can only be said that it is a must-visit attraction, but there is nothing else besides the architecture itself.

Today, what I'm sharing with you is Three must-visit temples in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Each one makes my megalophobia jump out . 1. Wat Huai Pla Kung Temple It has the largest and most popular Guanyin statue in the world, which is about 25 stories high!! On both sides of the stairs leading to the Guanyin statue, there are several lifelike white dragons entwined together, looking very powerful!! Location: Search for Huibakang Temple directly. Ticket: Free Opening hours: 7:00-8:00 . 2. Blue Temple Wat Rong Suea Ten This is a very famous temple in Chiang Rai, northern Thailand. The temple is not as big as others, but the entire building is painted with a highly saturated blue, with gold as a complement. At the entrance of the main hall, there are two giant dragons with their mouths open, which is quite scary to look at! Location: Search for Chiang Rai Blue Temple directly. Ticket: Free Opening hours: 6:00-20:00 . 3. Wat Rong Khun White Temple Baimiao, also known as Lingguang Temple or Bailong Temple, is a temple that is entirely white, looking pure and holy from afar!! In front of the main hall of the temple, there is a Naihe Bridge where pairs of hands are waving, which looks super shocking and makes me super scared!! When crossing this bridge, never turn back!! Location: Wat Rong Khun Ticket: Free Opening hours: 8:00-17:00
