Funchal’s Variety and Food, Do you need more?

When visiting Madeira one place that’s worth staying and has the majority of hotels on the island is Funchal. Funchal has great variety having cable carts, gardens, food, boat tours, island tours and much more. The Terrain of Funchal is very unique and extremely steep so be prepared to either pay for taxis or experience a very steep walk that only few cities in the world offer. The old town in Funchal is fantastic and home to the majority of unique street art that is very thought provoking and intriguing allowing you to get lost in the streets soaking in the culture. When in Funchal though one thing you must do is look and explore the city at night, the way the city lights up is breathtaking and represented in the last photo. Seeing all the lights from businesses or houses climbing up the hillside is something you don’t get in many locations and an experience. #Funchal #madeira #portugal
