The twin towers resemble a pair of wings, combining the urban form of Hangzhou culture and the meaning of arch bridges, symbolizing the city spreading its wings to fly. Hangzhou Century Center is also a key supporting project for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou. It forms a 'sun and moon shining together' with the Qiantang River. Together with the 'Big Lotus' Olympic Sports Center, swimming venue, International Expo Center, and the Civic Center, International Conference Center, and Grand Theater across the river, they form a 'seven-star brilliant' cityscape.
