Perak Tong Cave Temple

Address: Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Kawasan Perindustrian Tasek, 31400 Ipoh, Perak Highlights: The Perak Tong Cave temple is located just north of Ipoh and is one of the oldest temples and famous for the murals. It was constructed back in 1926. 😬 Once you walk in the temple, you can see a 40 feet tall golden sitting Buddha statue. Behind the main altar, there is a flight of steps. After climbing the steps and passing through the narrow entrance passage, the limestone cave opens up into a giant space with a high dome. On reaching the highest pavilion, you can enjoy the excellent views over the northern suburbs of Ipoh and a nearby industrial zone.
