Family weekend trip to Goose Spring Scenic Area for fun, spring outings, and flower viewing

Goose Spring Scenic Area is located in Nian'an Tun, Goose Spring Village, Xinjing Town, Jingxi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, 4.5 kilometers from the county town. The spring's mouth is a karst cave, and according to hydrogeological exploration data, the main stream of the underground river is 21 kilometers long, with a catchment area of 258 square kilometers, and a dry season flow rate of 1.4 cubic meters per second. The spring water flows eastward to become the Goose Spring River. The scenery here is very beautiful, with a 15-arch bridge built during the Qing Dynasty, which is one of the better-preserved ancient bridges in Jingxi County. The long bridge lying on the waves is majestic and spectacular, making it one of the scenic highlights of Goose Spring. The spring is abundant with carp, and it is said that when people shout loudly by the spring, causing the water surface to vibrate, the startled carp will leap out of the water in competition, creating the famous Jingxi scene 'Goose Spring Fish Leaping'. Goose Spring is the outlet of a larger lava karst cave-type underground river, with a depth of about 30 meters and a spring surface area of about 30 acres, and is one of the sources of Asia's largest waterfall, the Detian Waterfall.
