I used to think that Jiuzhaigou was no different from other places in Western Sichuan, but after actually going there, I realized that it is truly beautiful, although it can also be physically demanding. Especially now during the peak season, it is crowded everywhere, and you have to queue no matter where you go, so it is essential to plan well, otherwise, you might miss the most beautiful scenery and end up taking unnecessary detours. 🌈Ticket Information Jiuzhaigou now only allows 40,000 people to enter each day, and you can check the availability of tickets for each day on the 'Aba Tourism Network'. 🔆Peak season ticket: 190 yuan, sightseeing bus fee: 90 yuan (Peak season: 4.1-11.15) 🔆Off-season ticket: 80 yuan, sightseeing bus fee: 80 yuan (Off-season: 11.16-3.31) 🕑Peak season opening hours: 7:30 am 🚗Transportation ✈️Plane: You can fly directly to Jiuhuang Airport and then take a 2-hour drive to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou. 🚗Self-driving: It takes about 9 hours to drive from Chengdu. 🌈About Jiuzhaigou Jiuzhaigou is divided into three valleys, forming a Y-shape, with the central gathering point being the Nuorilang Center. The right side of the Y is Rize Valley, the left is Zechawa Valley, and the entrance is Shuzheng Valley. ✅Must-visit highlights 1⃣️Five-Color Pond It is one of my favorite places in Jiuzhaigou. Although it is a smaller pond in Jiuzhaigou, during the high water period, it looks like a sapphire embedded in the mountains, especially on sunny days, it sparkles brilliantly. 2⃣️Five Flower Lake The lake water is crystal clear, and when the sunlight shines on it, it displays five different colors, just like a dream. 3⃣️Long Lake Surrounded by mountains, Long Lake is nestled among them, and the water is particularly blue. On clear days, you can see the reflection of the mountains. 4⃣️Pearl Shoal Waterfall This is a waterfall under the snow mountain, very spectacular. The water flows down from a cliff hundreds of meters high, like a painting. ✅Travel Tips 1⃣️If it is the peak season, I really strongly recommend spending 210 yuan to take the VIP minibus because not only do you have to queue for the Jiuzhaigou sightseeing bus, but you also have to arrange the visiting time for each spot yourself, which can take a lot of time. The VIP minibus has a professional guide who will help you plan your tour route, avoid crowded times, and you don't have to queue at all, which is especially suitable for tourists with children and the elderly! 2⃣️You can eat at the Nuorilang restaurant, although the price might be a bit high, but you will consume a lot of energy in the scenic area, so it's best to bring some snacks. 3⃣️You can choose to stay at the entrance of the valley because it is close to the scenic area, convenient for food, accommodation, and transportation, and there are various accommodation options. 4⃣️Five Flower Lake is very beautiful, be sure to go early, around 10 am the number of tourists will become very large. 5⃣️The temperature difference between morning and evening in Jiuzhaigou is significant, don't forget to bring a jacket.
