High Spy & Derwentwater Picturesque Scenery

Pictures from my recent trip to High Spy in the Lake District, starting from the opposite side of High Spy at Barrowhouse located on Derwentwater. The route we took was a medium difficulty hike opting to take a straight line direct route up the hills and CatBells. From CatBells we carried on along the top of the hills for around 45 minutes til we reached High Spy at High Spy you get a great view of the landscape and The Dale Head. When ascending we also opting for a direct route down which took around another 45 minutes. When visiting the hills around Derwentwater and The Lake District in general the hike duration is very optional and a lot of the landscape and viewpoint links together allowing easy access once on top. The Lake District is a great location to visit during the Spring and Summer Months as the weather picks up and the sun begins to shine more and more across the beautiful lakes. #HighSpy #Derwentwater #TheLakeDistrict #England
