Xinan Village, Puning, a beautiful ancient village suitable for living and working

Xinan Village is located in the northern part of Meitang Town, Puning, Guangdong, on the south bank of the Rongjiang River. It is the largest village in the region and even in the western part of Puning, composed of 30 natural villages. The buildings in the village are mostly traditional shell ash and sanhetu structures, showing the charm of Chaoshan residences. During the Song and Yuan dynasties, a Zhou family migrated from Zhangpu, Zhangzhou, Fujian to Changle, Guangdong, and later moved to this place. Because the village was built on the south bank of the Rongjiang River, it was named 'Xinan Village'. The northwest of the village is the Rongjiang South River, the second largest river in Chaoshan.
