Shirakawa Historic Village

#2024wish Shirakawa Historic Village is a Japanese mountain settlement in once considered a wild and unexplored region. Because of the area's natural environment, with high mountains and heavy snowfall with neighboring regions are limited. The Gassho-style house is a symbol of the World Heritage Site of Shirakawa-go village. The architecture is unique and is called Gassho-zukuri and is extremely rare in Japan. The best time to go is in May, August, September and October. The views are breathtaking, serene and charming. It is definitely worth the visit there.
