Winter at Shirakawa-go

#2024wish Winter at Shirakawa-go is one of the highlights of my recent holiday trip to Japan. Although it's not snowing at the time of my visit, there are plenty of snow/ice ❄️ from the previous days snowing. Due to the warmer temperature when I was there, most of the snow had melted and fallen off the roof of the gassho houses. However, it's still beautiful and I had a great time playing and walking around the snow. In 2024, I hope to travel around again in winter and hopefully get to experience snow fall ❄️🌨️.
