Mangshan Wuzhifeng

Mangshan, located at the northern foot of the Nanling Mountains, straddles the border between Hunan and Guangdong provinces. It is connected to Yizhang County of Chenzhou City in Hunan Province and Ruyuan, Yangshan, Lianzhou, and other areas in Guangdong Province, where thousands of ravines converge. "China's Southern Ridge·Xiang-Yue Mangshan"—the best-preserved primeval forest at the same latitude on Earth, the gene bank for southern China's fauna and flora, and a granite geological mountain body of the Nanling Mountains. It is the largest national forest park in Hunan Province, boasting the titles of Hunan's second "Zhangjiajie" and "Little Huangshan". Mangshan·Wuzhifeng Scenic Area, located in Rongjiadong, Yizhang County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, possesses the core essence of the great Mangshan landscape, featuring dozens of attractions such as Wuzhifeng, Jinbian Grand Canyon, Jinbian Divine Pillar, Motian Ridge, Tiantai Mountain, Guanyin Ancient Temple, and Wanshou Pagoda. It has the world's most advanced control system, China's longest single-line sightseeing cable car, the longest cloud-walk in southern China, and a cliff elevator at an altitude of 1600 meters. News from October 27, 2020, the Mangshan Wuzhifeng Scenic Area has installed facilities such as cableways, escalators, self-service 'stair-climbing machines', and cliff-viewing vertical elevators between altitudes of 1400 meters to 1600 meters, creating an accessible tourism channel that allows people with mobility impairments to reach the top of Mangshan Wuzhifeng without leaving their wheelchairs. On October 26, the China Tourist Attractions Association and the China Association of the Handicapped respectively awarded the Mangshan Wuzhifeng Scenic Area the titles of "China's First Accessible Mountainous Tourist Attraction" and "China's First Accessible Mountainous Scenic Area".
