Explore Art's Infinite Wonders: AGO
🖼️ The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) is a must-visit destination for art lovers in Toronto. The gallery is located at 317 Dundas Street West and is easily accessible by public transportation or car. The AGO has a rich history, with roots dating back to 1900 when it was known as the Art Museum of Toronto. Over the years, the museum has undergone several name changes and renovations, including a major expansion in 2008 by architect Frank Gehry.
🎨 The AGO is home to an impressive collection of Canadian and international art, with over 90,000 works in its permanent collection. Visitors can explore exhibits that showcase the works of iconic Canadian artists, such as the Group of Seven, as well as contemporary works from around the world. Not to be missed is the National Geographic Photo Competition exhibit, which features stunning photographs from around the globe.
Another highlight is the Indigenous works exhibit, which showcases the rich culture and history of Canada's First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. The Leonard Cohen exhibit is a rare glimpse into the life and art of one of Canada's most beloved musicians and poets.
🤩 The Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room is a truly immersive experience that transports visitors to another world. The dazzling installation features an endless array of lights and mirrors, creating a sense of infinite space and wonder. LOVED it!

ART GALLERY OF ONTARIO, TORONTO 🇨🇦
I have a Toronto Public Library Card and one of the benefits of having one is to be able to get a FREE PASS. So, I was able to get a FREE PASS from the library and went to the gallery on a Friday. I started going around at 2pm and tha gallery closes at 5pm. I only had 3 hours and I know that 3 hours is not enough to see so many paintings and art pieces. You can see a lot of Art on the 1st and 2nd floor. 3rd floor is only for special occasions or exhibitions. 4th and 5th floor for contemporary. Note: Tripods and selfie sticks not allowed. #art #art Gallery #artsHunting #arts #artgalleryofontatio
If you love the arts you mustn’t miss the Art Gallery of Ontario.
Get a feel of Toronto’s arts and culture at the Art Gallery of Ontario, check out the art exhibitions here!
The gallery’s collection comprises over 40,000 pieces, and you can get a real feel for the cultural flavor of a top collection.
I absolutely love one spiral staircase inside the gallery. Constructed in glued laminated timber, the spiral staircase is a spectacular highlight of the gallery’s wooden construction.
Local teachers bring their students to see the exhibitions here. Sitting together in a circle, they absorb the spirit of individual expression and free innovation from an artist’s point of view. In this sanctuary of the arts, we get to see the whole seemingly familiar world with a brand new perspective.
Opening hours: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM (closed Mondays, extended to 8:30 PM on Wednesdays)
Admission: free
Lago Schlegeisspeicher travel experience
🎈Lago Schlegeisspeicher travel experience, a wonderful time you deserve!🎉
Dear friends~👭👬 I recently went to Lago Schlegeisspeicher, it's really beautiful!😍 Let me share my travel experience!🌟
First, we came to the lakeside cafe☕️, the environment there is really great, sitting by the window, you can see the beautiful lake view, drinking coffee, feeling relaxed.🛋️
Then, we rented a small boat🚣♀️, boating on the lake. The lake is clear and bottomless, the sun shines on the water, sparkling, really beautiful.🌊
There is also a small island by the lake, we took a cruise to go there, the scenery on the island is also beautiful, there are many cute animals and plants, which makes people feel happy.🐿️🌿
Finally, we also went to a nearby town, the architectural style there is very distinctive, we walked around and bought a lot of souvenirs.🏮🛍️
This trip to Lago Schlegeisspeicher really made me feel the beauty and tranquility of nature, I hope you can also go and experience it!👍
So dear friends, have you been to Lago Schlegeisspeicher?🤔 What other fun places do you think there are? Come and leave a message to tell me!👇
The Ontario Art Gallery, located next to Chinatown in Toronto, is also a must-see for travel. The exterior of the museum has a glass-like style, and even if it passes by, it will be attracted by the appearance of the building. The museum has a museum night for free visits. I really like the style of paintings here, from the works of 100 AD to contemporary works of art. There is also a wooden spiral staircase in the entire exhibition hall, with a big red balloon, adding a sense of romance.
