#Changde ligao 1919 Lakeside Hotel (Daxiaohe Street) Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Changde Daxiaohe Street Hotel Ceiling Li Gao 1919 Hotel
1, Good location, in Changde's Daxiaohe Street, known as Changde's Qingming Shanghe Tu, everything you need for eating, drinking, and playing is available. It's quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle, the back of the hotel is a bluestone walkway, the view is very good without obstruction, the water quality is also good, you can clearly see the fish swimming in the river, the environment is full marks.
2, Leisure and comfort. Not exaggerating, we only decided where to stay on the high-speed train to Changde. The point of hesitation was that almost all the guides recommended hotels within the Liuye Lake range, saying that the scenery was good, but for someone like me who is not self-driving, it's inconvenient, it's not very convenient to buy things in Liuye Lake, and the cost of eating is also high, so the first choice is a reliable hotel in the city, clean and comfortable service is guaranteed, having a certain amount of activity space is very important. After checking in, I found that both the hardware and software (service) here are very satisfactory, also very suitable for taking pictures, so I decisively booked another two nights.
3, Quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle. Daxiaohe Street is also a must-visit block in Changde, the distance from the online taxi to the high-speed rail station and Liuye Lake is only about 10 minutes, the hotel also basically solves the so-called 'going out is shopping' worry. Finally, let's talk about the price, although it is more expensive than Changde's five-star hotels, for us who do not travel often, it is worth splurging occasionally!

Is the Changde Da Xiaohe Street Li Gao 1919 Hotel worth the rush?
The hotel environment:
Although the scale of the hotel is not as high-end and luxurious as the traditional five-star luxury hotels, the decoration and design exude a luxurious taste. The materials used are very particular, and the guest rooms in Changde are definitely a unique experience. If placed in Shanghai, it would start at a four-digit price at least. The standalone small western-style building is very eye-catching, and the room amenities are comparable to those of a five-star hotel. First of all, the sleeping experience is very comfortable, as the duvet and pillow cores are made of goose down system, which is light and warm. The hotel provides L'Occitane herbal series bath products and Valera hairdryers, which are also very female-friendly, with a special dressing table and jewelry box. In addition to these, the room also comes with fruits, a mini bar with four types of drinks and a Snickers bar, and a set of Kung Fu tea equipment.
The hotel facilities:
The hotel has only two floors, with the service desk and restaurant on the first floor and a public rest area in the middle. There are also standard facilities such as a laundry room and a gym. Although small, it has all the necessary parts. However, the downside is that there is no elevator, and you have to climb the stairs to the second floor, which is not too high.
Breakfast:
The breakfast provided by the hotel also has some elements of both Chinese and Western cuisine, with a fixed set meal that mixes spaghetti, steak, and Changde rice noodles. Although the variety is not as extensive as a buffet, it is very exquisite and tastes good. There are not many people eating breakfast in the morning, which is very suitable for spacing out after breakfast without worrying about being disturbed. If you have a certain accommodation budget, it is highly recommended to experience a night there. For tourism, shopping, and dining, staying at Da Xiaohe Street is the most suitable.

I'm moved to tears! From now on, when I come to Changde, I will stick to this hotel in He Street
I've been to Changde three times, and I stumbled upon this hotel while surfing the internet, my dream room, it is Li Gao 1919.
.
This is the hotel a princess should stay in
The building is an old red-brick western house, filled with a French romantic atmosphere inside. From the entrance to the lobby floor, there is a layer of shiny gold bricks, and the entire interior is decorated with a lot of black heartwood and copper ornaments, in two words 'luxurious'. It feels like a modern royal mansion, doesn't it? Moving in makes me feel like a little princess. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, and to get to the second floor you need to go up a staircase, step by step, which adds a sense of ceremony.
.
The historical building is very photogenic
The simple and solemn exterior, the stairs and corridors show the sense of the years of old Shanghai. The bronze tones matched with the soft lighting, faintly visible, are very photogenic no matter how you take pictures. I suggest wearing a white dress to capture the fleeing princess vibe perfectly.
.
The rooms are fully equipped
The bath products, mini bar, tea set, fruits, afternoon tea, and hairdryer are all from well-known brands. I really love the super large wet and dry separation shower room, and the view outside the window is the garden courtyard, which has a superb view.
.
Stay experience
The breakfast variety is not particularly rich, it's a set meal, combining Chinese and Western styles, and there's also rice noodles. After placing the order, the hotel's customer service will proactively contact me to tell me where to park, and if I have a lot of luggage, they will also come to help pick it up. After checking in, they will also deliver it to the room together. The service staff are all very young, and the atmosphere during the stay is very good.

Life advice: Stay at this hotel before leaving Changde
Changde's Xiaoxihe Street night market is so delicious that you can't stop eating! It's exhilarating to stay there.
✔️Facing Xiaoxihe Street ✔️Backed by Chuanzi River ✔️Shanghai Republic of China style
Stayed with friends for 2 days/999, didn't want to leave once settled in, May Day is coming soon, sisters who like the same style of hotel should make a move early, I heard there are only 19 sets of rooms in total, and each room style only has 1-2 sets.
Located inside Xiaoxihe Street, the Li Gao 1919 Hotel is just too lovely, with an exterior resembling Shanghai's red-brick foreign houses. Staying in the room, you can see the Chuanzi River view, the Xiaoxihe night view, and the garden landscape all at a glance. The room is very spacious, and the atmosphere is super nice. The restaurant on the first floor can provide coffee and Western food. My boyfriend and I stayed in the hotel for two days without going out.

Afternoon Tea: As long as it's booked online, each room comes with a double portion of afternoon tea, two cups of coffee, a dessert, which can be delivered to the room or enjoyed in the restaurant, spend a pleasant afternoon with your sisters, and it's also super photogenic.

Changde Hotel Recommendation | Changed my itinerary on the fly to stay in this hotel's balcony room, and it was worth it
After the last day of the Spring Festival holiday, I just wanted to take some photos of the German-style street and the night view of the rivers, but I stumbled upon a room with a super comfortable balcony. Of course, I had to book it, so I changed my tickets.
You wouldn't believe it, but sitting on the balcony of this French-style romantic room, sipping afternoon tea, and watching the passersby in the streets, the cold feeling instantly disappeared. The hotel's decoration and design can be described as small but exquisite. The overall architecture of the hotel is somewhat similar to the style of the Republic of China era in Shanghai, with the exterior walls retaining the original red brick. From the outside, you can't tell it's a hotel; it looks more like a high-end private club, the kind that is impressive but somewhat intimidating. The hotel has only two floors, and our room was on the second floor. The room came with a separate balcony, which is also super spacious, with an unobstructed view that can accommodate up to 4-5 people. The balcony is also equipped with a sofa and a coffee table. I mean, I came for the balcony.
Next to the lobby on the first floor is a Western restaurant where you can dine and have afternoon tea. There is an outdoor leisure area in the atrium, where you can enjoy the sun when the weather is good, and it also offers good privacy. For those who feel like they're missing out, you can also take lots of photos here, which I discovered after checking in.
I've seen many people complaining about the price, but although it's a bit expensive, the hotel offers a lot of complimentary items. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and everything in the minibar are included in the room rate. The bath products and hairdryer are all branded, and you can tell that a lot of money has been spent on the room's decoration and design. As for the price, well, sometimes you have to treat yourself.
The hotel has many photogenic spots, such as: the hotel's dining bar, balcony rooms, stairs, and corridors are all very upscale, making for great photos. You can pair them with afternoon tea or coffee for an even better feel. The hotel has ice buckets, so bring some friends, open a bottle of red wine, and have a romantic time.
Address: 1919 Lakeside Hotel, Da Xiaohe Street, Changde

In Changde, the first choice for quality accommodation, I think, is this hotel on Da Xiaohe Street
If I come to Changde again, I prefer to stay near Da Xiaohe Street, because not only is the scenery here good, but also within 3 kilometers around, there are many must-visit food and spots radiating!
Transportation: It's very convenient to take a taxi from Changde Station to Da Xiaohe Street, about 12 minutes, 15 yuan for a taxi, and Didi seems to be less than 10 yuan, haha,
Travel plan:
First find a hotel near Da Xiaohe Street to stay (I have booked a hotel before), then take a nap, go to Liuye Lake Beach Park in the afternoon, and go back to Da Xiaohe Street at night. Perfect
But the plan went awry...........Because, I found a hotel seemed to be open when I was wandering around Da Xiaohe Street at night,
I went in for a visit, and found that this hotel is my favorite style, with a strong old Shanghai mansion feel. I asked the front desk if I could check in, the front desk said that the room can be checked in, I was secretly delighted (I will change to stay here tomorrow) just feast my eyes today
