Osmanthus Latte: A Must Try in Autumn 🍁🍂☕️
One of my autumn favourites in China is Osmanthus Latte! ☕️ Osmanthus has a delicate sweet smell and taste. Hangzhou is also popular for Osmanthus which can be spotted pretty much everywhere in the city 🧡
I had mine at Emoment Café where you can sit and enjoy your cup of coffee indoors or outdoors. It’s located along a historical and cultural road a few blocks away from Xiangji Temple. They have the typical coffee choices and a bunch of flavoured ones. My Osmanthus latte with oat milk was 36¥ after the shop prompted me to use a coupon on WeChat. The ambiance was nice and calm.
Address ➡️ Emoment Cafe, 杭一未
Dadou Road, 大兜路
How to go ➡️ Nearest 🚇 is Xiangji Temple, 香积寺on line 3。The coffee shop is about 10 mins walk away.

Hangzhou has a very atmospheric photo spot
Dadao Road historical district has undergone some new renovations, which are quite distinctive and make for great photos with a strong sense of atmosphere.
❗️However, this area is close to the river, with many trees and plants, and in spring, a gust of wind can blow up a lot of pollen, so if you're prone to allergies, remember to wear a mask.
There is a cultural and creative market here selling some small items, which is also worth a visit.
⛳ The rose mirror and the large lemon tree in the picture are located at the 'Adventure Modern Vintage Garden Restaurant'.

Citywalk by the canal, wandering around the historic Dadou Road district
The Dadou Road historical and cultural district, with the ancient canal tax office Beixin Guan to the north and the "granary of the world" Fuyi Warehouse to the south. It was once a gathering place for Hangzhou's fish market, rice market, paper market, etc., witnessing the prosperity of the "ten-mile Silver Lake Villa".
Now it is a utopia for literary and artistic youth. The northern entrance has moonlight lanterns and plane tree poetry lanterns, and the southern entrance has historical buildings such as the Xiangji Temple stone pagoda and the National Silk Reserve Warehouse, which are good places for quietly appreciating Hangzhou and taking photos.
The Yeye Bodhi Xiangji Temple store, known as the ceiling of Hangzhou's vegetarian cuisine, is also the top 1 vegetarian food in Beijing and Shanghai. Each private room has a full Zen name: Linfu, Zhaifu, Prajna, Yuanchen, Jinwo, Tingquan, Shifang...
There are many old objects collected in the store, even antique-level wood carvings and stone carvings. The private rooms are quiet and elegant, and the cushions hide the heated mugwort, finding the quiet power in the incense. Of course, the environment is comfortable, and the price is even more beautiful.
Wan Tang Aromatherapy Handmade, located in the Dadou Road historical district, you can DIY aromatherapy. There are many choices for the shape of the demoulding and the types of essential oils. You can mix and match whatever scent you like. Every corner is full of surprises, various woodworks, jewelry, shell crafts, etc., are irresistible.

Hangzhou Dadou Road | The most romantic place by the Grand Canal~
I've always liked the Dadou Road historic district.
It's not as bustling and crowded as the Xiaohe Straight Street, it's always quiet here. Although there are markets and numerous coffee shops and restaurants, you can still wander around leisurely in peace.
As the year comes to an end, there are more markets with various snacks and handicrafts, you can come if you like!
I usually stroll from Xiangji Temple, it's very comfortable.
When the weather is good, I even saw the red sunset by the Grand Canal in the evening for the first time, haha!
🌟Highlights:
Quiet, artistic
