I found a piece of jade at the foot of Mount Huang
This place is truly like jade fallen from the sky, hidden in waterfalls, streams, amidst the flowers and green grass, and within the blue sky and white clouds. Everywhere you look is green, cleansing the heart, lungs, and soul, and the feeling of letting oneself go is just too wonderful.
The Yellow Jade Valley is nestled deep in the Huangshan mountain range, named for its clear, emerald-green waters. There are many waterfalls in the Jade Valley, among which the most famous is the 'Celestial Maiden Lake Waterfall'.
The Jade Valley is the longest canyon at the foot of Huangshan, with a depth of about 20 kilometers. The stream in the valley is called 'Bi Yu Creek', originating from the peaks of Lian Dan, Shi Xin, and Celestial Maiden. Strange rocks stand tall in the valley, with babbling brooks and spectacular scenery.
The Jade Valley consists of dozens of pools of varying depths, which under the sunlight, reflect shades of green, orange, blue, yellow, white, and other colors, making it incredibly beautiful. There are over a hundred pools of different shapes and sizes scattered throughout the valley, with crystal-clear, emerald waters, brightly colored pebbles at the bottom, and the surrounding scenery is picturesque. Depending on the angle of the sunlight and the varying intensity of light, the pools appear crystal clear or emerald green, constantly changing and dazzlingly colorful, like numerous colored jades scattered throughout the valley, hence the name Jade Valley.
The film 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', which won four Oscars, shot scenes such as bamboo fights, poolside romance, and walking on waterfalls in the Jade Valley.
Transportation Information:
The Jade Valley is located between Xian Du Peak and Luo Han Peak of Huangshan, with the valley entrance at Shang Zhang Village in Tangkou Town, Huangshan City, near the G205 national highway. It is about 8 kilometers north of Tangkou by car.

Emerald Valley in Huangshan, Anhui | One of the must-visit attractions in Huangshan
Summer Retreat | Emerald Valley in Huangshan, unbeatable below Jiuzhaigou|||I've been to Huangshan many times, but it was my first visit to Emerald Valley, and it was stunning!
I would like to call the water in Emerald Valley 'unbeatable below Jiuzhaigou'!
The mountain spring water flowing down from Huangshan is a clear blue-green,
so pleasing to the eyes!
This place was also the filming location for the bamboo forest fight scene in 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon',
and there are several performances of riding bicycles in the air every day,
Bring a pair of slippers, and you can also step into the mountain spring water, ice-cold and super comfortable (barefoot is also fine~)
Even during the peak summer season and at the popular Huangshan, where you have to queue for hours for the Tangkou bus, Emerald Valley is still quite niche, not crowded, avoiding the herd mentality, so fragrant wow~
🚗Self-drive → Emerald Valley scenic area entrance, there is a parking lot 20 yuan/day;
🚄High-speed train → Huangshan North Station, transfer by bus to Tangkou town and take a taxi for about 10 minutes;
🎫Ticket → There are discount tickets online, or you can buy them at the homestays, 50 yuan/person;
🏡Accommodation → In the village at the entrance of the scenic area, there are homestays with different prices, located in the valley, very quiet, ranging from 100+ to about 1000, you can choose as needed, an 8-minute walk to the ticket checkpoint;
🍜Restaurant → There are no independent restaurants in the area of Emerald Homestay, but almost every homestay has a kitchen, and the local dishes made by the owners are quite delicious~ Or you can walk down 150m to the Shan Cha village intersection, where there are a few restaurants that are also okay;
🏊♂️There is an outdoor swimming pool in the village, which is actually the pool of Emerald Valley Resort, it hasn't been operated for many years, but has recently reopened, although the pool is not very luxurious, it is worth mentioning that the pool is fed by the upstream mountain spring water of Emerald Valley, if you love swimming/are picky about water quality/don't mind the cold water, this place is simply perfect, the water quality is too good, and there are very few people~
Staying in the village, the temperature is only about 25° in the morning and evening, you can take a walk along the downstream stream of Emerald Valley, watch the morning and evening bells and drums in the mountains, especially comfortable~
Such niche destinations, there are really many in southern Anhui, summer retreat, autumn scenery, not much expense, about 3 hours' drive from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Anhui, spend a weekend, or take the family to escape the heat, play in the water, eat farmhouse food, breathe the air in the mountains~ Isn't it wonderful

In April, the emerald spring is the time for tea picking
After the Grain Rain, it is suitable to go into the mountains to pick a bowl of new tea, to air-dry, to stir-fry, turning the late springtime into a cup of fragrant emerald spring tea.
Huangshan's Emerald Valley is dotted with over 100 colorful pools, as clear and sparkling as gemstones. Stepping into Emerald Valley in April, the breath of spring hits you full in the face, with bright sunshine and a slightly tipsy spring breeze, warming everything around. The green mountains and waters are a feast for the eyes, all things are reviving, fresh and natural. Wandering on the breathtakingly beautiful canyon trails, negative oxygen ions breathe life into the lobes of the lungs.
Next to the scenic area is a 200-acre Daping Mountain ecological tea garden, which is one of the 'source' origins of Huangshan Maofeng tea. The tea fields are layered with greenery, and every year in April, the tea farmers start to get busy, as the tea at this time is the best of the year. The beauty of spring is boundless, and the fragrance of tea fills the mountains and fields. An activity not to be missed in spring is surely 'green outing and tea picking'.
Bathed in the spring breeze, stepping on the spring green, picking the spring tea, one can taste the aroma of spring once again from the green leaves, seeking willows among the flowers.

Emerald Valley, a world cultural and natural heritage, is about 20 kilometers long and about 5,000 meters deep. Tourists can enjoy a scenic area of 6 kilometers long, with more than 40 pots covering an area of over 100 square meters and a maximum of nearly 1,000 square meters.
Jade Valley has the reputation of a beautiful love of the Holy Land and the fifth absolute of Huangshan.
In 1988, 36 young people from Shanghai went to Huangshan to play in the Emerald Valley. Since it was not developed at the time, the road was difficult to walk and there was no way to go. So everyone helped each other and shared the same pains. After that, 10 pairs were married. Therefore, the Emerald Valley is also known as the "Valentine Valley."
In the film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" directed by Ang Lee, many scenes come from this, such as Valentine Bridge. In the
Emerald Valley, the depth of the pool is different, and the colors such as green, orange, green, blue, yellow and white appear in the sunlight.
The bamboo forest in the valley sways, the breeze licks the surface, the spring water lingers, and flows for thousands of years.
