Beautiful visit to the magical Dubai!
What an incredible TRIP to Dubai! This was a magical break full of sunshine, warm weather and incredible views. There is so much to do, so many fantastic places to eat and you never run out of ideas in this place. I particularly enjoyed relaxing on the beach under the 40 degree sun and then spending time in the pool to cool off. I will definitely be back again soon to enjoy!!! #timetotravel
Madinat Jumeirah: A luxury destination
Madinat Jumeirah is an acclaimed resort located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a sprawling complex of over 40 lodgings, eateries, stores, and waterways. The resort is imbued with traditional Arabian design, and it features a variety of attractions, including a bazaar, a falconry center, and a variety of water sports facilities.
It is a popular destination for both tourists and locals. It is a great place to unwind and experience the Arabian ambiance. Visitors can saunter through the bazaar, purchase souvenirs, and delight in a meal at one of the many eateries. They can also take a ride on an abra (traditional Arabian boat) along the waterways, or go for a dip in one of the many pools.
Staying at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai
Travel back in time and step into this exotic Arabian jewel 😍
With its charming architecture, authentic bazars, picturesque ‘Abra’ boat rides and quaint little stone pathways, Madinat Jumeirah is truly magical ✨
Don’t you all agree?
Dubai was to celebrate the end of the school year and my first year living in China. It was the last quarter of the year and the weather was scorching hot! It’s a wealthy city and they’re not afraid to flaunt it in their bedazzled buildings and upscale shopping malls. It’s impressive from that perspective.
The beaches are an excellent way to cool off after a long day of exploration. We took a boat to the museum and bought scarves and other souvenirs in Al Fahidi Fort. We also went dune bashing, a must when in the bountiful Arab deserts, and also attended a night spectacle of Arabian dance performances, a Middle Eastern buffet and camel riding.
For a modern city experience, we enjoyed shopping in the many malls and ended off with the Burj Khalifa night show. We had dinner at one of three surrounding malls but I’d recommend finding a quieter restaurant not situated in a retail area for better quality - the food was lackluster and overpriced. One place tmy friend and I did like was Laduree, near Jumeirah Beach.

The best part is Souk Madinat Jumeirah, a market inside Madinat Jumeirah. It was a much more relaxed experience than Dubai Gold Souk.
The Castle Market is located on the edge of the Seven Star Sailing Hotel in Dubai. It runs along the hotel’s indoor pedestrian street and winding paths, and runs through the colourful and lively open market. The vivid trade culture is fascinating. When you walk along the street shops and private galleries, lined up along the sidewalk, you can immediately feel the old Dubai style, street restaurants and cafes. There is a scent of fragrance, which outlines a leisurely and harmonious picture of life. A canal passes through the market, and the boats move in and out, making people feel like they are in the medieval Arab castle. It feels as though the treasures of Persian myths may be hidden here. Most of them are souvenirs selling traditional customs, Arabic lanterns, Turkish porcelain plates, and beaded national style shoes, handmade blankets, silver and bronze utensils.
Dubai Luxury Hotel
This is one of the luxury hotels in Dubai, located opposite the Burj Al Arab.
📍 Madinat Jumeirah
Their room rates are expensive, but we don't need to stay; just book their beach restaurant Shimmers and with the reservation email, you can enter the hotel for a visit.
Shimmers is right across from the Burj Al Arab, and you can take beautiful photos from the restaurant!
Additionally, we can also tour the hotel's public facilities, such as the traditional Dubai architecture in the ancient town area, which is actually a shopping center with a variety of goods, like Turkish lamps for selection, and you can also take photos there.

🕌 Exploring the Grandeur of Souk Madinat Jumeirah
📍 Location: Emirate of Sharjah, UAE
Souk Madinat Jumeirah, where Arab charm meets modern glamour, beckons travelers with its captivating blend of tradition and contemporary allure. Here’s why it’s a must-visit during your Dubai trip:

Madinat Jumeirah
Inspired by an Arabian citadel, Madinat Jumeirah is a mini-city in Dubai, comprising five-star hotels, ornate souks and beachfront hotspots. A destination within a destination, you’ll find several grand hotels, including Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Mina A’Salam and Jumeirah Al Naseem, alongside a cluster of traditional summerhouses at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf and seven grand homes at Jumeirah Malakiya Villas.
There is an entire river system, five kilometres in length, complete with its own fleet of traditional abra boats. You can take a tour around the whole property on one of these in-house abras and stop by along the way.
The ancient city of Jumeirah is located within the Jumeirah Resort, right next to the Sailing Hotel. It is very close to the sailing hotel and you can see it at the gate. The design of the ancient city of Jumeirah mimics the traditional open-air market and continues the wind tower design of the old town like a chimney at the top. The wind tower is a unique architectural element of Dubai and is actually the world's first air conditioner. The streets inside Jumeirahs ancient city collection are inspired by One Thousand and One Nights. The obvious old-fashioned closed-plan complex spatial layout with an internal courtyard is built in a dry and hot climate. It is also large, and the whole house is enclosed in a high wall. The advantage of this is that it can withstand the bad weather such as sand and sand, and can also block the spread of sun exposure and heat radiation, and effectively save energy. The wind tower also bears the role of lighting. When the layout of the space is closed, there is no external hole lighting except for the top wind tower. Of course, there are stores in the market in addition to grocery stores, as well as imitation of ancient vintage vending carts, adding a retro atmosphere. There are 75 boutiques and more than 20 popular coffee shops, bars and restaurants in the market.
