Enjoy the nature from room's wall
At The Culvert Resort, we can enjoy nature from room's wall as the wall was made of see through glass.
The sound of cozy wave from the beach nearby or the water dropping of rain between trees via the wall made us really enjoy stay here.
But it is not advisable to who suffering of claustrofobia as the culvert which the main backbone of the room contructed only give us limited soace in the room.

great vacay!
Mount Santubong's name is derived from indigenous Dyak Iban means coffin. Investigators have made ascents of the steep mountain to find places of archaeological interest. Around its foot are old Hindu occupation which are hundreds of years old which have been investigated by the Sarawak Museum [3]. It was also the home of the early Sarawak Malays until they were driven up to Kuching in about the 1850s owing to continual attacks from the powerful Saribas Dayaks.
Great vacation!

We spent 4 days and 3 nights at The Culvert, Santubong. There was a private beach at the front, and Mount Santubong at the back of the hotel. We had the chance to watch beautiful sunrise from the mountain, and sunset on the beach. The place offer high level of privacy, suitable for honeymoon.
We stayed in a Sea View Suite that has bathtub and big toilet. It was fun to shower at night while looking at the star. The food at the hotel was also nice that we only dined at the hotel.
Highly recommend this hotel especially for couple

Had an amazing stay at the Culvert Hotel in Kuching, Sarawak! The oval-like containers for sleeping are a unique and unforgettable touch. Positioned by the beachfront of Damai Beach and against the stunning backdrop of Santubong Mount, the hotel's innovative design blends seamlessly with nature. A truly charming and memorable experience.

The Culvert Hotel Resort Kuching
It is a resort with a novel design concept which the rooms is built individually in the culverts. Therefore, the room space is quite limited but still comfortable. I suggest to choose the rooms with a separated washroom and room because if the washroom is attached, then you have to climb over the bed to access the washroom.
I highly recommended this place for staycation because the place is amazing and you can wake up to a stunning sunrise view from your room. The other facilities they offer are also great, such as swimming pools and exquisite leisure areas. The service is also good.
