i have admired Oakwood Manor over the years. I've never stayed, but always thought it was a stunning facility from the road as i drive pass. To stay in the room was a negative suprise in terms of room set up and decor.
Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Room is ok and lighting is poor and cold as the heat pump is not working properly. I had room service as when I got back to the room and smell janola from the bathroom it so strong.

The attitude of the service staff was very good, especially a Chinese counter staff member who was still outside when we were taken to the airport before we confirmed that the terminal was not wrong before leaving. The rooms are large and the facilities are good. It's just the cemetery opposite. I got frightened when I got up in the morning and saw if everyone would mind.

1. Location: Based on the actual understanding of residence, this hotel should be in an area where Indians live, because there are several Indian supermarkets around and there are quite a lot of Indians.
2. The room is very clean and it is quite nice to live in. It is exactly the same as the picture. I would like to give it a good review.
3. It may be early to get off work here. When I came, there was no one at the front desk at 9 o'clock. I called and came back to open the door for me five minutes later. The Indian guy is quite handsome😅
Overall, I think it’s pretty good. It’s clean and sanitary. I’d like to give it a good review.

GGuest UserHave stayed here before and find it the best value for a place to stay overnight close to the airport with a free shuttle. Reception staff pleasant on arrival and departure. Didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast but looks nice. Would stay here again if the price remains lower than other options.

The location of the hotel is very good, just at the seaside of Half Moon Bay, a few steps away from the door to see the pier full of private yachts. Supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby, and the walking distance is only 20-30 meters.

Well signposted and easy to enter from Mt Wellington Highway.
Ample parking for extra cars.
Clean and well equipped.
The manager happily gave us extra towels for the extra adults staying.
Towels replaced on the second day.

GGuest UserI returned to the motel because my first stay was so pleasant and hosts are just very warm and welcoming.My family circumstances are challenging and the hosts are very understanding and helpful. The motel is as expected for about a three-star but is lovely and clean. It is great to have the pool for a dip as well

A big plus is outside seating outside front and back depending on weather. Always good to sit out of the unit even though weather this time did not allow it. Definitely will be going back
