Wow I must say we were warmly greeted at the door and treated so very kindly. Nomi who was absolutely cheerful and kind to us. She was definitely one of the best parts of our stay. Walking into the beautiful garden filled with the aroma of different scents of roses. The room was so immaculate and the location is perfect. Thanks for allowing us to have such a wonderful stay.

My partner and I had a wonder stay! Was lovely to connect and share interesting conversation with the hosts. Our room faced onto a tranquil courtyard with a clean glimmering pool. Breakfast prepared by the hosts was fresh and delicious. We will definitely stay over next time we're in PE again. Highly recommended!
Elephants Footprint Lodge

The positives...The property is well-situated - about a five-minute drive from the entrance to Addo. The rooms were clean. In the 35-degree heat, we really enjoyed the outdoor shower. Communication with Wesley before arriving was excellent. He was able to help me book an excellent guide for our trip into Addo. The negatives...Unfortunately, when we arrived at the lodge, it was 35 degrees out. The property doesn't advertise air-conditioning, but the ceiling fan was broken. When we brought this to the attention of management we were told that we would have to wait until the morning for it to be fixed (it was not fixed the next day either). We eventually asked if there was a standing fan we could use. This was brought to us although we were not able to sleep in the high temperatures. The dining room was also very hot. The meal that was offered was good, but extremely overpriced at 350 Rand pp, especially when that didn't even include water or drinks. Management seemed incredibly disorganized. When we mentioned we had a game drive booked, the woman at the desk could not find any record of the booking but told us to ”wait outside at 930 and somebody would probably be there.” Also, when we went to pay when we were about to leave, we were given a bill for a bottle of champagne and nothing more. We had to tell her that we actually needed to pay for a game drive, three dinners, and a few drinks. She had no record of what we had spent. I am not sure how a business can be run this way.
Monument Western Guesthouse

The accomodation is really convenient to explore Port Elisabeth, as it is close to the city center and yet the area feels safer (which is something to be considered in South Africa). The room is spacious and spotless, and even has a kitchen.
Tidewaters Accommodation

Decent location just off the Main road. Very nice and quiet environment. Staff were polite and helpful. Got upgraded to a bigger room at no extra charge, but the room seemed to not have been checked before (a little dirty in some places).
The Fernery Lodge & Spa
4.6/556 Reviews
Perfect location, Log cabins are well spacious and designed to perfection, stunning views. Stunning views of the gorge and sea. Clean and spacious chalet with comfortable beds and good linen. Well fitted kitchen. Lovely partially enclosed patio and braai area. Superb breakfast with so much to choose from. Friendly, professional staff. Awesome heated pool, jacuzzi and sauna facilities. A special welcome from The Fernery as we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary! Only criticism of the chalet is the large skylight without any covering. An aircon would be a welcome addition - especially in summer. The gown was a little small for a male.
Bethesda Tower Accommodation

True to the little town, we had an amazing experience connecting with the local crowd and all the beautiful things they do day to day to make the experience excellent. I really enjoyed the beautiful lino printing art gallery! I definitely recommend this space!
Supertubes Guesthouse

Only stayed one night unfortunately as on a tour. Spacious room, very clean, lovely balcony overlooking the sea to watch the stars and have coffee in the sun in the morning. Excellent cooked breakfast. Also very much appreciated the cafetiere in the room! Would definitely stay again.
Tsitsikamma Manor
4.1/56 Reviews
Nice location with these rooms, not the most modern, but clean and well equipped. Although on the edge of Stormsriver you feel like sitting in the village, on the overside is a ”habitat area” with typical houses 😉. Staff do everything to boost the holiday feel. Stormsriver has a village look with Typical African properties. Of course it is a good starting point for a visit to the Tsitsikamma park and the highest Bungie Jump bridge in the world. Price quality is appropriate, breakfast very good.
On the Beach Guesthouse Jeffreys Bay
4.4/554 Reviews
Our 3rd visit to Jeffery’s Bay and we chose On the Beach Guesthouse. So happy we did. Our room was beautiful, tastefully decorated, very clean. We would have slept better on one single mattress rather than two singles together though. The A/C worked very well. Having a small kitchen in the room for coffee and drinks was very nice to have. There is also a every well stocked honour bar. Breakfast is fantastic. Self serve portion plus a menu. All staff were truly exceptional, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Overall loved our stay and would return.
