Good value for money, friendly, helpful night staff, no language problem, easy and trouble free foreign friendly. The feedback is based on my room and my overall experience. The room was very clean, newish super clear, bright lights bathroom, with very nice shower. The beds are a bit hard but nothing major, very quite, small but manageable parking space, despite my car being a big. It was one night experience, short but pleasant with lots of food option but the front doors of the hotel. Which very convenient. Definitely recommend unfortunately, I forgot to take some pictures. ThumbsUp 👍

The hotel has its own parking lot. From the front desk to the room attendants, they are very enthusiastic. They help us carry our luggage and send bottled water... The guest room, bathroom, and sink are very clean and tidy. At night, the dishes are of good quality and the price is very affordable. After dinner, the four of us talked about the hotel and agreed that it was a great hotel.
I went to the hall this morning at 7:10 to use early, but let us not understand, 7 o'clock began to early, when we went, each basin leftovers leftovers of soup, staple basin leftovers leftovers, nest head..., drinkable porridge and soy juice a little, enter the hall door 1 person sent a boiled egg (The first time I met boiled eggs at the entrance of the evening hall), several waiters were busy cleaning the table. It turned out that more than 100 group tourists had just started to use the cockroach at 6:30. Ask a waiter to add food? She said no. We don't understand: Trip.com Online booking introduces the breakfast standard of 48 yuan/person. Is the hotel providing such a breakfast? Can it be worth 10 yuan/person? How much is the standard for a group of more than 100 people? After the group is used up, should individual customers eat some leftover soup? If there is no food store around, we will not use it here early? Moreover, the dishes and services ordered last night were very good. Why would the breakfast of 48 yuan/person be like this? The hotel should give an explanation. I don't know which project should be reviewed, so I ordered one in the facilities: very poor.

Guest UserI stayed in an air-conditioned cabin without a private bathroom this time. It was cleaner than I expected. I'd recommend bringing a pair of flip-flops for the shared showers. Other amenities like toothbrushes and towels were disposable, which was great. Getting a taxi was difficult, but the host was incredibly thoughtful and came to pick us up. There was a bonfire party in the evening, and they set off fireworks like there was no tomorrow! Watching the stars and fireworks in the desert was absolutely beautiful!

Guest UserI absolutely loved this place! I’m writing this as a foreigner who went with 4 other foreigners for a special birthday weekend. First, the service. We have good Chinese proficiency, but those with limited to none will be fine. Most of the communication and coordination is handled via WeChat - which can auto translate. 东 “Dong” was our main contact. He rocked and gave us a real experience. He shuttled us in the sand jeep, gifted me a cake for my birthday, and was just an overall cool guy. Thanks! Second, the location and accommodations. If you stay near Desert Star, there’s a lot of people and campsites - that area seems like a bit of a tourist funnel. This area is located in the REAL sand dunes area. Further North, you actually cross into Inner Mongolia. The separation and distance is worth it. Makes for brighter stars and a more authentic experience. Third, the food. They were able to coordinate a whole lamb to be roasted for my birthday. It was absolutely extraordinary. The sides for it were some of the best I had on the entire trip - they have some skilled chefs there. This place has great reviews, and it’s worth it. I do recommend this to foreigners, and I hope I can return one day.

Guest UserLovely hotel near Wanda Jinfeng mall, surrounded by many pharmacies. The fruit shop downstairs called 小任果 is one of the best fruit chains in Yinchuan with a huge offering of fruits and yoghurt and nuts. We bought these to bring along for our day trips out of Yinchuan. Its nice to stay at Jingfeng district as its quieter than drum tower area.
The lobby has snacks, fruit and drinks all day for guests. Coffee was super !
We used the complimentary washer dryer which is a fabulous amenity.
We appreciated the free pickup at the airport which we arranged 1 day prior by telephone booking from Shanghai. The reception and the breakfast counter staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The toiletries were all upmarket
If there is any con - its the plump cleaning lady at the 3rd floor. She appeared unhappy when we asked her to top up the bath wash when it was low and she forgot to top up. She just handed us a bottle to install ourselves. She also didnt wipe the control panel for the room unlike her colleague who does it when she is on duty so we can see our finger prints still on the glass after housekeeping.
Small issue though. Cos everything else about the hotel was great

YangguangtubaobaoThe hotel facilities are all brand new and in perfect condition. The room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust even in the corners, and the air was fresh with no strange odors. The guest room was spacious, and the bedding was clean and soft, making for a very comfortable sleep. The hot water came out quickly and at a stable temperature, and the bathroom area was dry and tidy. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet night's rest. The front desk staff were warm and polite, even giving us many boxes of Zhongwei硒砂瓜 to try. Check-in was very quick. The surrounding area is also quite convenient for getting around. As a new establishment, both the hardware and cleanliness are impeccable, offering great value for money. It's perfect for both leisure travel and short stays, highly recommended. I'll definitely choose this place again if I have the chance.

It's worthy of being called Xipo. The service and the room are so good.
Taking advantage of the off-peak season, I came alone to experience the Yellow River Homestay. Each homestay has a different decoration style. I chose Xipo on the recommendation of my friend and was very satisfied. The facilities and services corresponding to this price are really worth it. The price of two nights in the off-season is equivalent to the price of a normal night. The hair dryer is Dyson, and the toiletries are all from the laboratory. There are also beer + drinks in the mini bar, freshly ground coffee, and freshly made bread (forgot to take a picture). The sea salt rolls are super delicious, and the scones are also good, not sweet at all, which suits my taste.
The whole homestay is very quiet, close to the Yellow River, and there are trails. If there are many people at night, you can drink, eat barbecue and watch the stars by the Yellow River.
The service of private butler Xiaoying is really excellent. She will contact the guests about three days before you check in and help arrange some matters, such as car pick-up, introduction of food, drink and entertainment nearby, food, drink and entertainment in Zhongwei, and travel photography needs. She will also recommend it. After check-in, she will also take meticulous care of the guests. She deserves 100 points. Such a niche place is highly recommended for family and couple travel. If you go to Zhongwei, you must stay at Huanghe Suji to experience the local traditional customs.

Anonymous UserWhen I stayed, the hotel was fully booked, and the staff seemed exhausted, yet they still managed to maintain a good standard. The ingredients used for meals were quite high-end.
**Room:** The bathroom was spacious and well-maintained, featuring two separate washbasins, and the toiletries were of good quality. The room furniture was a bit dated but well-kept. The mattress felt slightly soft, likely an integrated spring type. The TV was brand new.
**Lounge:** Afternoon tea included one set per room, with two scones, four pastries, and two small savory snacks. The evening happy hour offered a very simple selection of four hot dishes, fried snacks, fruits, desserts, cheese, cold cuts, and salads. Replenishment was quick.
Both the cheese and desserts were of good quality, and the watermelon was excellent, probably a large, high-quality one. However, the four hot dishes were very ordinary. If an older guest wanted a stir-fry and staple for their meal, they might not find it very satisfying.
One issue was that the lounge was shared with Courtyard hotel guests. This meant different room rates for the same lounge service. While this is considerate for Courtyard guests, for Marriott guests who pay a higher room rate, the overall value for money of the lounge is not high.
The lounge staff provided excellent and attentive service.
**Breakfast:** The highlight was the goji berry jam, which was delicious with the goji berry egg tarts – my favorite dish. The Western section offered sand onion omelets, which were also very tasty. The overall cost of breakfast seemed quite high. The watermelon was likely from Zhongwei, cut into large pieces, indicating a very good selection, and it was also delicious.
However, the coffee machine might have been old; it produced poor milk foam and leaked during coffee extraction. The staff were also quite overwhelmed with clearing tables.
**Front Desk & Concierge:** The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. There was a slight issue with the room arrangement during check-in, but it was resolved quickly and efficiently after returning to the front desk. They also kept in touch afterward, proactively asking if I needed anything else, which I really appreciated. I believe the lady's name was Kiki. Many thanks to her.
The concierge was also very professional; there was always staff at the entrance who would proactively help carry luggage to the room.
