I had a lovely big room and huge bed , which was comfortable.
Large picture windows with view of river & town over the bridge next to the hotel.
Room had all the usual amenities- kettle, mugs,, tea, coffee, sugar & milk. Shampoo & bodywash in bathroom, hairdryer. Box of tissues in bathroom.
The bathroom has a good size cubicle and good pressure in the shower.
I did not use the in house restaurant, so cannot comment.
The bar was good and there was a water dispenser on the counter..Great for filling up my water bottle for the day.
So lovely to walk out of the hotel and over the bridge to the town, including the excellent museums, or walk along the paths on either side of the river.
Only slight downside was the route down the stairs was a bit convoluted, but there were lifts of course.
Flight cancellation meant we had to book a last minute hotel. This was perfect, less than 10min walk from the terminal and facilities were clean and staff were very welcoming.
Room clean and tidy. Unfortunately a couple of lights were not working in the bathroom so made for a bit of a palaver trying to shower in almost darkness.
The breakfast was good with lots of choice, sadly the coffee in the machine wasn’t of good quality and was very bitter.
The staff were very polite, friendly and professional.
Overall, would choose to stay again.
Friendly staff and very convenient for an early flight
The staff at the hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful. When I first checked in, I realised I had accidentally booked an accessible room — which was enormous and very, very clean. However, because it had a connecting door, someone in the neighbouring room tried to open their side, which completely startled me.
When I went downstairs to mention it, the staff didn’t hesitate at all. They immediately offered to move me to another room where I wouldn’t have the anxiety of hearing someone try the connecting door. It was clearly very safe, but I really appreciated how quickly and kindly they responded.
I had dinner at the hotel restaurant — the food was fairly average and a little on the expensive side, although the atmosphere was lively and, again, the staff were very friendly.
One downside is that the walls seem quite thin. Around 12:30am a group checked in and were talking loudly in the corridor for about half an hour, which woke me up. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing earplugs. In fairness, I didn’t call reception at the time — and based on how helpful they were earlier, I suspect they would have dealt with it quickly.
Checking out was easy, and I walked to the airport in the morning. It’s actually a very straightforward walk — especially once you get past the roundabout and go under the road. I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you have an early flight from Luton.
Hampton by Hilton London Luton Airport is a great choice if you’re flying from Luton and want something convenient and comfortable. The hotel is just a short walk from the terminal, which makes it really ideal for early morning or late-night flights.
The rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained. Despite being so close to the airport, the soundproofing is quite good and the room felt quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything needed for a short stay.
Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. One nice perk is the complimentary breakfast — the selection is fairly simple but includes hot items, pastries, fruit, and coffee, which is perfect before heading to the airport.
Overall, it’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s reliable, clean, and extremely convenient for travelers flying from Luton. I’d definitely consider staying here again for an early flight.
The hotel is perfectly situated near Luton airport for easy one-night stays. If you follow Google Maps it is a bit tricky finding the way in the dark but when you get inside it is a beautiful building and staff are friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend it!
The Premier Inn is a decent value for money. The staff were very helpful at check-in given that we arrived a bit earlier than 3pm , they allowed us to to change into clothing more appropriate for the toasty afternoon ( sunny and 25C) and leave our belongings in storage behind the reception. The biggest drawback , in my books, was the fact the window in our room was sealed shut and we had to rely on the HVAC system for fresh air. The location made it easy to reach from Luton Airport after a 10 min walk from the Luton Station Interchange, but the surrounding area has a bit of a rough edge to it.

JJeovoniFirst time visiting Bedford and I loved this quick hotel here. Walkable distance to the train station, a few restaurants nearby and short distance to the center for shopping and food.
.
Greeted upon arrival with a smile, the rooms pretty small for a 6’3 athletic guy such as myself. However, it’s functional with everything you need.

AAnonymous UserWe loved our stay here! It’s a very well designed hotel, with a special history and lots of unique touches throughout. Our room overlooked the river, and had all the usual things you expect from a nice hotel plus some excellent artworks. The only thing to note is that even though this is a spa hotel, the spa isn’t included in the hotel rate- we hadn’t realised that that needed to be booked separately. There were no issues fitting us in though!
SSteve HKJust stayed here to get access to the airport early the next morning. In that respect, the hotel fully served its purpose. We didn't really try any other services, had a decent sleep - room was fairly basic, but functional! Walking to the airport takes about 10-15 mins. Not bad! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
