Stayed here for the second time. The environment is clean, the service is very good, and the problem was solved quickly. The neighbor was too noisy on the first night, so they immediately helped to change the room. The breakfast and dinner are very rich. I will stay here again next time!

I am so glad I chose Komatsu-kan during my stay in Matsushima. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. When I told him I am a vegetarian, he kindly informed the kitchen to exclude animal flesh and seafood from my meal. (Usually, hotels ignored my food request, or they just gave me tofu and pickles for my meal.) The next morning, I was so surprised to see my breakfast. I loved the fresh salad, steamed vegetables, over-easy eggs, chawan-mushi, and the pickles even tasted better than before. Then the room surprised me with the pine tree and the beautiful sea view. The next morning I woke up at 4:45 to see the sunrise. Just from my room, I could see the sun slowly rising from the other side of the sea. Stunning! I really enjoyed the little Me time here. Actually, this hotel is well-maintained, and that helps raise the value of it. I also love the fresh little flowers right next to the washing basin. And the people working here are quite ya-sa-shi. They are kind and gentle. Generally speaking, this is a nice place worth staying and relaxing in.

There is a lady who speaks Chinese at the front desk, and communication is stress-free. Every staff member is very enthusiastic. I stayed here on the first day of my arrival in Sendai. It snowed heavily on the first day of my arrival in Sendai. The scenery was super beautiful. I took pictures of the blue snow scenery outside with my original camera. I didn't go out to take pictures because I was afraid of the cold. I stayed in the hotel the whole time, soaking in hot springs, drinking wine, watching TV series, and eating snacks. It was super comfortable. ❤️❤️❤️ Hehe, it is said that Yuzuru Hanyu highly recommended this hot spring hotel, so I followed him here😁

Although the hotel has been around for some time, many of the waiters are middle-aged or even elderly, but I feel that they are trying their best to provide the best service to the guests, so I feel a sense of intimacy and warmth. The hotel facilities are also very good. Good, cost-effective, highly recommended.

Honestly everything from start to finish was great about this hotel. Employees spoke english, rooms were spacious, nice and modern. Location was in sendai station with malls, food and sightseeing everywhere.  Sendai is also the home of gyutan. Try it, honestly. If I had something to complain about it would be that one of the 3 elevators only go to the 3rd floor and not 1st.

Although the hotel equipment is a bit old but very clean, the service staff is very kind, the public pool is quite large and comfortable, the order is one berth and two meals, the evening meal time is amazing, the buffet at night is very good, there are many types!

great loacation, just a few minutes walk from station. lots of food and shopping nearby. convenience store at hotel building. Has self laundry and microwave, amenities (including drip coffee) provided. staff are friendly and professional, they helped keep my luggage overnight between my two bookings. room is spacious and clean, bathroom is quite large. as the room face the street, it is a bit noisy in the evening as people leave restaurants after dinner/drinking.

It was easily accessible from Sendai Station and had plenty of amenities. I heard there was construction going on, but there was no noise and it was comfortable. The service was polite and they seemed to allow late check-ins. There was a convenience store nearby so it wasn't a problem. I'd like to use this hotel again when I come to Sendai.

Tourists who plan to go to Fox Village are recommended to stay in this hotel. The hotel is right next to Shiroishi Zao Station, and the shuttle bus to the Fox Village (1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children) is also here. There were not many seats on the shuttle bus, so we boarded the bus 20 minutes early for both the round trip.

The location would be more convenient by car and the hotel offers a free Shuttle Bus But note that there is only one 1 hour🫡 Once I entered the room Wi-Fi could not be used, I called the Front desk and they quickly helped me fix it. The room space is plentiful. This time, one night and two meals, the food variety and quality are quite good👍🏽 It is recommended to go to the big bath again in the morning, because there are black mosquitoes at night, and you can't see the view at all🫣

GGustavo TozzoIn complete contrast to my previous night at a different city, coming to this hotel was a total change. Friendly desk staff, helpful and accommodating. Well informed and willing to help. The room was small but enough for one night. The bed was really comfortable as well. The hotel has a Hot Bad that accommodates 4~6 people at once. Really wonderful being able to take a very hot bad at such large place. and all at no extra charge. Only thing bad I have to say about the place is there was this smell of ”fresh” paint all throughout. Bothered me a bit, but it was easy to put up with. I will be staying again in October and look forward to it. Unfortunately I took no photos. Will do so next time.

AAnonymous UserHotel is approx 5 mins walk from Sendai station. Follow west exit. My single room is a bit small but spacious enough for a solo. Room was clean and linen crisp. 1 bottle of water provided each day. Onsen is small with one outdoor. Over my 2-day stay at most I bumped into another person in the onsen. 2 washers and dryers in the onsen facility. Wash is free (30 mins standard) but dryer is charged 100 yen for 20 mins which is enough to 80% dry a small load. Night ramen was delicious and I appreciate the ice cream and Yakult at the onsen. Family mart is 20 steps away. Didn’t try the breakfast. And it’s actually very near the Miyakoh highway bus centre.

FFoshA stroke of bad luck left us stranded in Sendai when the JR East Shinkansen network was suspended. As the night wore on with no trains in sight, we grew anxious. By 11:30 p.m., we decided to book a hotel for the night. Thankfully, the hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise — newly and tastefully renovated, cosy, and functional. The highlight was the lounge, which offered complimentary beverages and a play area for kids — an unexpected but welcome touch. Like most hotels in Japan, it provided complimentary toiletries, but this one went a step further with facial masks and bath salts — a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more relaxing.

GGuest UserThe hot springs here were very good. On the other hand, the bathroom in the room is very small. However, the windows in our room were large and we had a beautiful view. Breakfast is varied and is self-served, so you can eat as much as you want. Dinner is very sumptuous. Sashimi and other dishes were very tasty. The air conditioning in the rooms is centrally controlled and the heating does not come on at this time of year, even though the temperature is only 10°C at night. If you are cold, you can tell the staff to bring you an extra blanket. The walls of the rooms are thin and you can hear the noise and singing of the neighbours(lol)

SSumiAbsolutely wonderful experience!! Newly built hotel due to 2011 tsunami. The room was spotless, comfortable, with an amazing view overlooking the Pacific Ocean and even had a small balcony! Dinner was a multi-course meal prepared by Chef Koichi Ito and was both delicious and beautifully presented. Staff was very kind, taking the time to use google translate to help explain to us what each dish was; there was also English instructions prepared for us when we checked in and when we were at breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel, and I hope to return to this beautiful area of Japan and stay here again someday!
