There is no boiler, so it is only equipped with an air conditioner and an air purifier, so when I turn on the heater, it is too dry, so I lower it to 24 degrees and sleep. When I turn it off, it feels a little chilly.
You have to be careful when entering and exiting the parking lot because it is a little steep.
The view was really the best~!!!
A view taken outside the balcony from the room... I didn't know Yeongdeok's sea was this beautiful.
It's located at a high altitude, so the journey is a bit arduous, but it's worth it. The facilities are great and the value is good. The breakfast was delicious. There's also an unmanned convenience store and sauna.
Although there are only four rooms, I stayed in a tatami room for two nights. It was super, super clean, and check-in was self-service, so I just dropped off my luggage upon arrival. It's within 800 meters of Cheomseongdae and Anapji Pond. It was very, very quiet at night, so I could sleep in every day. I definitely want to come back when the cherry blossoms bloom in late March or early April.
Lahan Hotel had a great view of the East Sea and Pohang Space Walk and was very clean and well furnished. Shower amenities (shampoo, soap and body lotion) have a stronger scent than most hotels (tabacoo scented) and may be a hit or miss for travellers. Location was also convenient, with just a short walk to Yeongildae Beach and eateries along the beach street. Many buses also have routes along the Main Street which made it easy and convenient to explore Pohang. The reception staff were also very helpful and gave us helpful advice for our itinerary and plans based on their local knowledge (:
The facilities are clean and comfortable, and the owner is super friendly!
Our family loved the location, which was in a quiet, quiet neighborhood. ^^
The evening bulmong service was also fantastic.
Hwangridan-gil is a 10-minute walk away!
Found this hotel while looking for hotels in Gyeongju and was surprised by how spacious the room is, with a large screen television and even a bath tub! I would like to commend one of the front desk staff for his service, he was so helpful and patient with my request that I had and even told me to use the hotels umbrella as it was raining. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room too and location wise is also quite convenient as well. Overall, it was a good stay and value for price as well if you are considering to stay in Gyeongju! 😊👍🏼
Great location, excellent facilities, and incredible value for money! Three of us stayed here and we were genuinely satisfied. The room was spacious, and the bedding and pillows were so comfortable that we slept like babies. Having an E-Mart24 convenience store and Ediya Cafe connected to the hotel lobby was a huge bonus! My friends and I bought some snacks, took some fun four-cut photos, and ended up spending an hour just hanging out there, haha. The owner was super friendly too! There's also a Daiso and SPAO right next door, and we could easily walk to the central market. My friends and I all agreed it was an amazing place to stay! *Ahem*!

Impressive hotel next to the lake. While we booked a mountain view room, we were lucky to get a corner room which we could see the lake from the balcony. Service was good. The hotel has a huge and nice bookstore/cafe, and even a bowling facility.
The hotel is very cozy. The owner, a gentleman, speaks excellent English and seems to have lived abroad. The rooms are huge, breakfast and drinks are complimentary, and the hotel is very welcoming. Located right across from the seaside park, this is a highly recommended and excellent value accommodation.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located right next to the liveliest souvenir street, yet it's quiet and cozy because it's not directly on it. At the same time, most of the attractions are nearby.
The room has everything for convenience: disposable slippers, shampoos, soap, and even locally produced drip coffee.
As a bonus, there was a complimentary bottle of champagne, which was a nice touch. This is a standalone hanok (traditional Korean house) with one room, a shower+toilet, and a small entryway.
Downsides:
There are 3 such hanoks on the property, and the soundproofing is very, very poor. We rented 2 hanoks, which was convenient. We didn't see anyone from the 3rd hanok, but if you're only renting one, you might have issues with neighbors.
Since the house is wooden, it gets very drafty. We turned on the floor heating, and once it warmed up, it was comfortable; otherwise, it could be chilly.
There's no parking right next to the place; it's a 10-minute walk away. However, it's included in the hanok's price, so there's no additional charge.
They didn't allow us to check in an hour early. The staff member was a bit rude.
But, overall, it's a good place to stay for 1-2 days.
JJP_in_SeoulReally convenient to be near lots of restaurants, there is a really good bakery cafe in the same building & coupons for the bar across the road.
Breakfast included in the stay is basic with eggs, toast and fried rice. There is juice but no coffee.
Rooms are huge as is the bath. Only minor thing was the light switches are meant to be remote controlled but that didn’t work so you have to manually go to the switches on the wall near the door.
Would stay again.
AAnonymous UserIts a pity that the upper floor rooms got occupied so we were assigned to lower floor and the room was facing n pretty close to a construction next to the hotel and so we were worrying abt the dust and noise and a bit disappointed with the ‘seaview’ outside the terrace… luckily the front desk lady offered us another room on the same floor facing the carpark instead so the sea is really just one car away and it feels so much better :] she even offer us to check the rooftop family that comes with jacuzzi but we didnt bring out swimsuits so its out of our consideration.
The room is huge and the view is superb, except 1. it d be better if theres a door/curtain for the toilet/bathroom area for privacy and also noise isolation; 2. The fridge and rubbish bin are a bit too small for a family-sized guests; 3. Lacking racks/hooks to hang clothes and towels when u shower, a bit inconvenient…
However everything else is awesome, they hv clothing disinfectant machine provided in the room, a giant size tv which is good for family, amenity kits come with most of the things u need including facial cleanser/toner/moisturiser. Theres a coffee machine and ice making machine at the lobby so u can het ur everyday coffee free. Also the public terrace on 10/f is super nice n chill with the sea view, its both nice both day n night, highly recommend!
There are tons of restaurants mostly grilled meat/seafood dishes in the neighbourhood as its right next to the famous beach where ppl comes here for the yeonglidae pavillion, which looks nice at night! Space walk is also nearby. The locals all do their morning exercise walk by strolling along the seashore bare feet! Theres a shoe rack storage and feet washing facilities provided so u can come enjoy bare-foot walking in empty hands and leave clean and dry!
Its a nice stay and i would recommend to others!
TtoeiiyoiiThe accommodation was great. It was clean and looked new. The lobby was decorated very cutely; I loved it.
Inside the room, the bed was a mattress type, but it was comfortable. However, the floor heater seemed a bit too hot.
The bathroom had separate wet and dry zones, which was very good.
GGuest UserThe hotel was overall okay for a short stay. The room was reasonably clean and had the basic amenities needed. The staff was polite and the check-in and check-out process was straightforward. While nothing stood out in particular, everything worked as expected. It is a suitable option if you are looking for a simple and practical place to stay.

GGuest UserI had such a wonderful stay at this hanok-style hotel that I’m already dreaming of coming back. From the moment I arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The traditional architecture, the soft lights in the courtyard at night and the view over the tiled rooftops created a very special atmosphere that you just don’t get in a “normal” hotel.
My room was cozy, bright and spotlessly clean. I especially loved the little wooden platform by the window with the cushions – it became my favorite spot to sit with a book, drink a coffee and look out over the rooftops and mountains. Waking up to that view in the morning and seeing the same roofs softly lit at night made my stay feel almost magical.
The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. You can feel that they really care about their guests and about sharing Korean culture. The small details, like the beautiful traditional bookmark as a gift, made me feel genuinely appreciated and added a personal touch I will not forget.
Overall, this stay was one of the highlights of my trip. If you are looking for a place that combines comfort, authenticity and a peaceful atmosphere in the middle of a hanok neighborhood, I can only highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely love to stay here again.
BBen®Super clean and spacious new villa in Hanok style.
It's a bit out of town, but main attractions easily accessible with a car.
Check-in was a bit difficult as we had no Korean number and communication was only possible in Korean. In the end a friendly worker helped us by calling the owner. Thanks again for his help.

GGuest UserBeautiful chalet-style place for staying! The bed is very comfortable. The room is clean and organised. A few chairs and a table to do work or eat. Very spacious area for watching tv. There’s a bbq pit outside each unit. The host brought fresh towels for my second night, thank you! I love the beautiful decoration and swimming pool downstairs, even though it’s cold at night. It has a charming atmosphere, with an outdoor screen, swings and nice music. Sound insulation is ok, although you can hear the frogs croak outside from the bathroom.
The place is about 20 mins’ walk from the bus stop with restaurants, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Theres a emart24 about 10 minutes away. There’s a restaurant next door that sells fried chicken till 11pm. It’s a must-try! Host and his wife are extremely helpful people. Thank you for your warm hospitality!
Highly recommended for people who want privacy and lots of space to hang out.
